i walked past his apartment sixteen times and each time i stepped on the crack hoping to break his back for being a jerk. i saw the flower sitting on the window sill and i felt my lips turn upwards and i instantly transformed it into a frown even though i couldn't help the happiness i felt.

i saw her walk by about sixteen times but i mean whose counting? i saw her crooked smile appear on her face about six different times and then her mentally scolding herself in the middle of the street. i sighed as i ran my hands down my face, i heard the door open and i sat upstraight and there i saw her.

she had a slight pout on her lips and one knee high sock was pulled up more than the other so i motioned for her to sit down on the bed. i rolled the sock up to match the other one and as i looked dolly in the eyes. i realized i never wanted to kiss someone so badly before.
