not know what she was thinking when she decided that she would agree to James Potter's insane plan. Perhaps, she was not thinking at all. But here she was on her way to tell James that she agrees, wishing she could just make James Potter and Carson Peters disappear completely from her life.

She spent the previous nights tossing and turning, unsure of whether she should agree to Potter's plan or not. Admittedly, the plan seemed tempting. Carson Peters jealous? Sign her up! She and Carson dated for a few months, she thought he was the one. Smart, sweet, and a perfect gentleman. This was disproven when he broke up with her using a note he left on one of her favourite books. Stating that they should "see other people". Maybe she should give Carson what he wants.

not expect that Diana James would agree, but he was absolutely ecstatic. He fought the urge to fist-pump and yell when she told him she agreed.

"I knew you'd come around." He grinned excitedly. "When do we start?"

"Calm down, Potter." She said, rolling her eyes at him. "We need to establish a few ground rules first."

"Why?" He asked, a confused expression on his face.

"Because Potter, we are not actually dating and you should know your limitations." Diana said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"You wound me, Diana. Truly." James said, putting a hand over his heart in mock hurt.

"Whatever, James." She said, rolling her eyes at him yet again. "Last time I checked, you're the one who needs my help."

"Alright Diana. What are your rules?" He asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest. He did not want to do anything that would make her back out.

"You don't kiss me." Diana stated, looking at James with an serious expression.

"Why not? I'm a fantastic kisser!" James winked, interrupting her. She looked at him pointedly and continued.

"You are limited to hugs and holding my hand. However, we only do it when people are around." She said, looking at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Alright. Seems fair enough." James said, nodding. "Anything else?"

"We don't tell anybody we're dating." Diana said, putting air quotes when she said the word dating. "We let the rest of the school figure it out."

"Don't want to admit you're dating me?" James asked, an eyebrow raised. Diana just nodded.

"We don't go on dates. Remember, we aren't actually dating."

"Then how are we going to convince the population of Hogwarts that we are?" James asked.

"We flirt, hold hands and all that. They'll figure it out, they are not stupid." Diana said, rolling her eyes. "I'll think of more rules as we go along."

"Alright Diana, if you say so. Are you formally agreeing to my plan?" James said, holding his hand out for Diana to shake.

Diana hesitated before eventually putting her hand in James and shaking it.

"It's a deal then." James said, grinning. Diana nodded and turned around, heading to her next class.

"There is one more thing." James called out. Diana stopped in her tracks and turned around to face him.

"No matter what happens," He said, walking closer to her. "You're not allowed to fall in love with me."

Diana fought the urge to roll her eyes and just smirked. "Won't be an issue."

"Great!" James grinned, clapping his hands together. "We start tomorrow."
