You scolded him as he continued walking to you guys's bedroom.
he coldly answered and shut the door in front of you loudly.
You sighed and can't help but to feel how useless you are. You can't do anything right anymore.
Since the day Taehyung's Grandmother died he started being distant and cold. Emotionless and always comes home late. He works his self out. Its not healthy.
And you, his supposed to be girlfriend can't do anything. He doesn't listen to you nor the guys anymore. Its like he has a totally different world and doesn't want any of you guys to be part of it.
You sighed and went on the couch. You have been sleeping less these past few nights because First of all, you wait for him to come home and secondly, the couch sucks. It was rock hard!
----
The next morning, you were not surprised when you saw the bedroom empty. He was already at work. He didn't even eat breakfast. You sighed and let him be. It was tough for him.
After eating, you washed up and got ready for work. Today is going be yet an another busy day. Yay!
----
You looked over for you phone on you messy desk. It was beeping so loudly that your co-workers were laughing at your ringtone. Why? Well it was a ringtone of Taehyung saying 'bitch?' On loop.
When you found it, you immediately answered , not even looking at whose calling
You said
namjoon from the other Line said
You asked. You placed your phone onto your shoulder and pressed you ear into it so both of you hands and search thought the papers on your desk.
Instead of an answer, you heard sniffles. Is he crying?
You said a bit concerned. Namjoon doesn't usually cry,

he said and sniffed.
-----
You ran through inside the emergency room as soon as you heard about what happened to taehyung from namjoon. Though you were really busy, you left work. He was more important.
You asked the nurse immediately. She looked at you weirdly and checked.
you lied. You were such in a hurry that didn't even care.
You nodded and ran through the elevator.
As soon as it opened, you saw the rest of the boys outside, they were talking to each others.
You shouted. Namjoon looked at you and motioned his eyes in tje door.
You nodded but before you could open the door he spoke again.
you nodded and went inside.
Your heart shattered as soon as your eyes landed on him. He was sleeping peacefully as if he wasn't drugged.
Namjoon said that Taehyung collapsed while practicing a while ago. His nose started bleeding and they immediately rushed him here. They found some pills on his bag. He was killing himself and you didn't even know.
You took a chair and sat beside him. You help his hand and kissed it.
you whispered and kissed his hands.
You couldn't help but to cuss at him. He was plainly stupid for doing that.
You rested you head in his hands and before you know it. You were off to dreamland.
---
Your eyebrows furrowed as you felt someone moving. You opened your eyes slowly and saw taehyung sitting up.
You immediately asked. He looked at you emotionless
You gulped upon hearing those words from him.
you excused yourself and went out of his room. You can't afford him seeing you cry. He doesn't like it when you cry.
---
Holding a glass of water in hand, you slowly opened the door. The sight of what he's doing immediately made you rush to him, grabbed the pair of scissors out of his hands and threw it somewhere.

You shouted and placed the water above the night stand.
He looked at you. His dead eyes reflecting.
Without knowing it you were already crying.
You asked hurt.
You wiped the tears off as he remained silent.
You continued.
Every word you said makes you hurt even more. All the things you've wanted to say for the past days are all coming out. It felt good to shout.
You knelt and grab his hands
I watched her as she bawled her eyes out in front of me. I can't believe How stupid I have been. She was just trying to help.
I removed her hands off mine and grabbed her into a hug.
She looked up on me and I tried to smile, genuinely.
she said and wipe the tears from my eyes away.
And thats where I realized, that no matter how bad your life is going through, there is still someone who'll care for you as much as you care for yourself.

Flashback: Siren Song
The year is 1969. Yancy Lazarus—bluesman, gambler, future world-class mage and fix-it man—is just a dumb, unlucky kid serving with the 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines in Vietnam. With just a few weeks left to go until Yancy gets shipped back to the States, he’s just trying to keep his head down and avoid a body bag—no mean feat in Nam. But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves. Just like the mysterious music drifting through the jungle toward Yancy's squad, Siren Song will get under your skin and sink its hooks into your mind. —eden Hudson, Author of Halo Bound (the Redneck Apocalypse series) *** Hey everyone, this is James Hunter. This story isn't a full length novel--its a novella length work (25K words), and is part of my Yancy Lazarus series. Its already free on Amazon, so I thought I'd post chapters here for the good folks of Royal Road. If you don't want to wait for updates or would prefer to read it on Kindle, you can pick it up for free here: https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B01066TLC0
