《Hellishly Angelic || jjk ✓》chapter nine

I walk into the shop, hand-in-hand with Taehyung. Namjoon is standing behind the counter reading something with Yoongi next to him, who looks a lot smaller now than he did with Hoseok. They both look up, smiles taking over their faces.
"Ah there they are! I knew you guys were dating," Namjoon says, dimples popping through.
"What do you mean?" Taehyung asks with a small smile, wrapping his hand around my waist.
Suddenly Hoseok runs into the room, panting, "Wait—YAH GUYS COME LOOK AT THEM!" he shouts, eyes lighting up.
Immediately Jimin and Seokjin appear from the hallway, clearly excited to see us together.
"Our Taehyungie has a girlfriend!" Seokjin shouts, jumping up and down.
"You guys are making it seem like he grew ten arms," Yoongi says, seeming uninterested but has a small smile on his face.
"This is equivalent to Taehyung growing ten arms, Yoongi," Jimin says, narrowing his eyes. Then they disappear back into thin crescents when he looks at us. "This is so exciting I wanna scream," he says, bunching his tiny hands up into fists and jumping up and down.
I raise an eyebrow, "You technically already did scream though—"
Taehyung leans in and gives me a kiss on my forehead, surprising me. "Come on, let's go to the back away from these kids."
As we walk into the hallway, I notice the expressions of the guys, shocked but amused at the same time.
"Wah he's so cool," I hear Jimin say as we walk into the hallway.
Déjà vu starts flooding my senses as I remember the first time I walked down here. Jungkook was in front of me, leading me to his work room. I smile to myself, remembering how anxious I was. It seems like that was such a long time ago.
I look around, wondering if Jungkook could be here.
As if he read my mind, he emerges from his room...with Taera. When we make eye-contact, he does a double take. "Haru-ssi! Nice to see you came by to see me," he teases, Taera glaring daggers at me.

"Well this place is kinda like my second home, believe it or not," I reply, trying to sound natural.
"Oh, did you hear the news, Jungkook?" Taehyung asks, and he shakes his head.
"Haru and I," he pauses, pulling me closer to him, "are dating."
I see his expression go completely blank, while Taera's eyes light up.
"You guys are dating? As in boyfriend and girlfriend?" he asks, still clearly shocked.
"Yeah, ever since last year," I say, putting as much of a bratty tone into my voice as possible.
I expect him to shrug it off, but instead he smiles—a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. "Oh, cool." And with this he walks off.
Taehyung turns to me and softly chuckles. "Looks like someone's jealous." When I don't say anything, he bends down closer to my face. "He's not the only one jealous, is he?"
I huff, "I don't like him."
He squints his eyes, "This one doesn't sound as firm as the way you said it the other night."
I let my shoulders slump, "I don't know, okay? I just wanna go home." I don't know why I'm feeling this defeated right now. Every time I see him with Taera it's just...frustrating.
Taehyung frowns, "You know what you need right now?" He wraps his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. "You need a big, warm hug."
I hum, "Or maybe some Soju."
He chuckles, "You have college tomorrow. Maybe this weekend we can go get some, hm?"
I laugh, "That sounds like a good plan."
"Jungkook-ah, are you sure you want to go on these rides?" Jimin asks, concern beginning to etch into his face as he stares at the rides.
I lick my lips, tasting the pink cotton candy in my hand. "Hyung, don't worry, I'll be okay. Nothing will happen."
I see Taehyung feed some of his ice cream to Haru, who has her arm linked in his. I feel myself frown. Stop it, Jungkook. Be happy for them.

I shake my head, trying to focus back on my cotton candy.
"Alright I think we should go on...this ride," Namjoon says, pointing to a large circular ride. It's like a loop on a rollercoaster, except the carts just keeps going around over and over again in one giant circle.
"Can we not go on this one? It's a little too fast for my liking," Hoseok says, clearly terrified.
Seokjin looks at him and laughs, "Well, you know what they say. You're not gonna get rid of your fears unless you face them up front."
Hoseok furrows his brows, "But no one ever said that—"
Jimin shoves him into the line, and he just stares at the giant rollercoaster looming above us.
"I went on something like this at the fair in Daegu when I was younger," Yoongi says, throwing his cotton candy stick away.
"Busan fairs are the best, come at me," Jimin says, trying to puff out his chest.
Haru sighs, "Not to be biased or anything, but Busan is the best city in all of South Korea." I notice her purposely emphasizing her dialect on some of the words, bringing a smile to my face.
I give Haru a high-five. "Yeahh, that's what I'm talking about."
Taehyung smiles, "You guys are just saying that because this is your hometown."
"Well everybody has a special kind of love for their hometown, right?" Jimin asks, making his Busan-dialect more prominent like Haru did.
"'Everybody has a special kind of love for their hometown, right?'" Hoseok does a terrible job of mimicking Jimin.
"Yah, what kind of mimicry is that?" Jimin whines, the rest of us laughing.
"Well that's definitely how you sound to us," Namjoon replies, trying to keep a straight face.
Before Jimin can say anything else, the line moves forward. We all rush onto the platform, splitting up into groups of four. Jimin, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Seokjin sit in one cart together, and Hoseok, Taehyung, Haru and I sit in the one in front of their's. Hoseok and Taehyung sit across from Haru and I, so we're facing each other.
"Kook are you sure you want to be riding this?" Taehyung asks as we secure ourselves in.
Hoseok too, "You're not feeling nauseous or anything right?"
"I'm gonna be fine," I assure them with a small nod.
"What's wrong? Are you sick?" Haru asks, and I shake my head.
"No, they just love and care about their dongsaeng a lot," I grin, winking.
"Sure," Hoseok grins while Taehyung chuckles. Then, the ride starts to move.
"Oh crap this was not a good idea," Hoseok says as the ride begins speeding up.
"Oh this was a great ideAHHHHH," I shout as the speed dramatically increases, and we start going upside-down. The cold wind whips against my face, my hair flying in a million different directions.
Haru shouts while laughing from the adrenaline, "MY SHOE IS GONNA FLY OFF!!"
"EOMMAAAA!!" Taehyung and Hoseok shout at the same time, bringing me to tears from laughing too hard. I hear the guys screaming their heads off behind us, particularly Jimin.
Hoseok curses, "WHY DID I AGREE TO DO THIS!?"
"WHY DO I FEEL LIKE IT'S GOING FASTER?!"
"IT'S TOTALLY GOING FASTER," Haru replies as the rollercoaster does one last round.
Finally, the ride starts to slow down. Everyone's breaths are heavy, and my heart pumps with adrenaline.
"I will never go on another rollercoaster ever again," Hoseok says, getting out of the cart with Taehyung.
I glance at Haru. A few pieces of her silky dark hair are coming out of her messy bun, the winding blowing them in front of her caramel colored eyes.
I look down and realize that my left hand is no longer gripping the rail—but intertwined with her's. Her facial expression is just as surprised as mine.
I grin, "Looks like the ride got a little too crazy, huh?"
idk about you but i really feel like going on a
rollercoaster rn.

Rekindle
My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.

Sage ▸ Stiles Stilinski [Book One]
"You do realize that I'm supposed to tell you when you're throwing yourself into a dangerous situation and that doing this will probably get you killed, right?" "I don't need you to take care of me, Sage." "Says the werewolf that fell into the floor." Sage Connelly was notoriously known for the fire that killed her entire family when she was only ten years old. Granted, that name held importance for an entire year before people eventually forgot about the Connelly's and the other family involved in the fire, the Hale's. Nearly six years later, when the little girl is not so little anymore, Sage comes back with more than just a leather jacket hanging on her shoulders. She comes back with a personality distinctly different from what her old friends remembered, not only stunning Jackson Whittemore into silence but efficiently taking away Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski's ability to talk about the dead body found in the woods the night before. Even more, the bite on Scott's body that held an importance only two people in town could help him with: Sage, to her dismay, was one of them. When Derek Hale calls upon her help, giving her the title of Scott McCall's personal babysitter, she's inevitably forced to tag along with the boy's trusty side-kick. The introverted and overly, well, intimidating qualities that the blonde had lead Stiles Stilinski into an unfathomable struggle of convincing himself that Sage Connelly was just a crush, and that Lydia Martin would forever be the one holding his heart. That lasted as long as the one-way conversation the boy had with the strawberry blonde in the middle of a hospital. His downward spiral leads him directly into the arms of a stubborn, damn blonde that was confident she didn't need a boy in her life that was still tripping over an elementary school crush.
