"(Y/N)!! What are you doing!?" Tokoyami asks panic in his voice "I'm just getting oatmeal from the top shelf." "U-Uh let me get it for you!!" he grabs me from behind and gently carefully puts me down and gets the box from the shelf. "Tokoyami-kun I could've gotten it myself" i pouted "You gave me a scare you could've fallen and hurt your other arm or worse!!" Ever since I broke my right arm he's been so overprotective.. At first I found it cute but its been an everyday thing and its getting so annoying, I can't even leave the house! if i wanted to he would have to come with me! "Tokoyami, I am fine I was just getting some oatmeal!" I yelled back "Tokoyami you've been too overprotective of me!! And its making me unhappy that you hardly let me do things!!" Tokoyami expression changed to a sad look "My love-" "I'M SICK OF IT, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING AT ALL, YOU HARDLY LET ME GO OUTDOORS YOU NEVER GIVE ME MY SPACE!!" "(Y/N)!!" He pulls me towards him and holds me close, we stood that way for about a few seconds and he looks into my eyes. "My apologies, for raising my voice. I understand my love, you're right I have been overprotective of you. I am just afraid.. That... That I might lose you.." he sheds a tear "You mean so much to me (Y/N), ever since we first started dating I vow to myself that I will always love, care, and protect you. But ever since you broke your arm.. I blamed myself for that happening to you... I broke a promise.. That i would protect you.. Now look at you its my fault your injured... IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!!... That's why.. If i keep you safe I would have to be with you at all times. I'm sorry I've been so overly protective of you.." He holds me tightly but not to tight because of my arm and cries on my shoulder. I pet his feathers to calm him down "I understand Tokoyami-kun, but you shouldn't have made a promise to protect me. I appreciate it very much you looking out for me. But sometimes I will get hurt, Physically and Mentally. But that's okay because I got you to make me feel and get better." I cupped his cheek and kissed the top of his beak and smiled at him "Please don't blame yourself okay?" He gave me a saddened look and looked away, "Hey, if it makes you feel better let us do something together." I say trying to cheer him up a bit "Sure, what do you want to do? We can do whatever you want to do today my love." he holds my hand while looking into my eyes. I blush a bit he makes me feel so shy (in a good way) "Um I don't know." "How about a walk at the beach? I know how much you love the ocean my dear." He gives me a cute smile and I smile back and chuckled at his cuteness "Okay! Hey lets have a picnic there just the two of us!!" He nodded in agreement. We gathered food and beverages and left our apartment sand headed to the beach!!
