《Layers Of Suffering (Tokoyami BNHA)》Cherish The Moments

He would've been another pillar of hope for the society. Ironically, society made him a fault line. A ticking time bomb.
His quirk didn't manifest late. It was just much more hidden.
Yet, his parents already labelled him as "trash". It was like he was just another product of theirs. If he functioned well, they frequently used him, if he didn't, well, they would discard him.
Belenus was different, he was smarter than that. He knew his parents treated him like a product before they revealed themselves.
"XXX XXX! Want some ice cream? How about some pizza?" They had said to him. Sure, these items were what kids usually liked, but he didn't.
Even after attempts to get them to listen to what he wants, they just either forget or ignored him.
They were basically giving the perfect condition to protect a product yet not caring for its well being.
For example, a cattle usually needs a requirement to survive well. Farmers give them exactly that amount, exactly that type of food and exactly that type of shelter to live. Even if it enjoys the dryness of the air much more, prefers fruits rather than grass etc.
Sure, products usually didn't have a well being... but Belenus is a person with sentience, not a product.
Yet he's basically just living like a slave.
To put it in layman's terms, they just wanted Belenus to survive and use his quirk for income. They didn't love him.
That was before he manifested his quirk. Yet, he already knew, they weren't compassionate about him.
When he did though, their appearance changed totally.
"I NOURISHED YOU FROM BIRTH AND THIS IS WHAT YOU TREAT ME? BECOMING A QUIRKLESS BOY? WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY! YOU USELESS PIECE OF JUNK! GO DIE IN A FIRE! I WISH I HAD ABORTED YOU!... "

They chided continuously, hurling insults at him as if he was the one who was wrong.
" F**KING PIECE OF TRASH! “
Their eyes went wild, becoming static in. Belenus' eyes, a hint of lunacy in their eyes. Their body seemed like they were glitching, vibrating with tension and anger. Slowly, their complaints merged into one, obnoxious, loud screeching sound. It ranged at his ears continuously until his father took a knife and approached him, eyes filled with malice. He came closer and closer. His desire to kill became stronger and stronger... whose desire tho? Belenus or his father.
He had no one to support him, just like Tokoyami. His friends left him and some even bullied him once they found out he was quirkless. A horrible fate indeed.
And now, what thought supposed to be a pillar of hope from parents became the thing that crumbles him down the most. He refused to believe that they didn't care about him, being naive and all. But when the truth came, all he could think was betrayal.
As his father approached, Belenus prepared himself. With one quick move, he struck his father's elbow with his hand with such force that his father didn't have time to react. The knife struck his father's eyes cleanly, digging deeper and making him yelp in horror and pain. Belenus pushed harder and heard a squishing sound, like squeezing an orange. It felt horribly satisfying.
His mother's eyes that was once filled with hate now became filled with horror and cowardness.
It always happens to people with delusional minds. If they feel that they are in power, they always make themselves seem like Gods and Goddess. But once they feel out of control, they wear this stupid expression and tries to run away from everything. They are truly disgusting people.

{Since they weren't Belenus' parents anymore, they can easily be classified as a non-living thing.}
She passed out on the floor. Belenus went to take out the knife that was embedded into that body's eyes, removing easily from the soft tissue of its eyes. It spurted out in a crimson of red. However, since he was carefully using its hand instead of his to not get his fingerprints on the knife, the blood didn't touch his clothes, only his hands.
The knife was in the grip of both his and the body's hands. An empty eye socket, like a small fishbowl, was at the knife's edge. He wouldn't want to grab a glove in fear of leaving a suspicious fingerprint on any of the walls or boxes with his and his father's DNA. Instead, he used the body's hands to impale the knife straight into her mother's heart. She made a piercing scream and took her last breath.
Belenus made it careful to let go of the male's limp hands and let the knife settle on the woman's hands. With the woman now having a horrified face, it now looked as if she stabbed his husband in the eye, and stabbed herself with guilt and remorse.
He had limited time to escape, but looking at the two bodies of his parents,
he can't help but feel hard.
The feeling of betrayal converted into pleasure.
Pleasure of his parents' death.
And that's when his quirk truly manifested, causing him to lose the other less insignificant emotions that he once had.
The police arrived soon after someone reported hearing a woman screaming. He was found crying on the floor, trying to make himself look vulnerable.
He lost his chance to escape due to his sadistic hunger, the police arriving before he could escape.

Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.
