"Three Aces." I said as I set down three cards. Two were aces and one was a king of hearts.
"I call bullshit!" Kirishima yelled. He picked up the tree cards I had put down. He smiled triumphantly and handed the whole stack back to me.
"Damn it. I thought I had gotten away with it!" I whined. Tamaki and Kirishima both laughed and continued.
"Four sixes." Tamaki stated, setting four sixes down. Kirishima glared at his cards and at me.
"Two fours." he said, smiling.
"Bullshit!" I yelled, I laughed as he gave me a playful glare.
"I have three fours! Therefore you cannot have two fours!" I laughed. I tossed him the stack and we continued.
"Three kings." I announced. The two looked at me and laughed.
"Bullshit!" both yelled. well tamaki didn't yell but he still said it.
"Fine." I kept my cards. we all laughed and continued playing. My body tingled like a shiver went up my spine and my head snapped to the side.
"Y/n are you okay?" Kirishima asked, with his hand outstretched towards me. I nodded and looked around. About two minutes later a dark haired man walked in. He looked exhausted and expressionless. But his aura was very frightening.
"Oh Aizawa sensei." Kirishima said, smile splayed over his face.
"I'm here for Y/n." he stated. Chills ran up and down my spine as I got up. The man I now knew as Aizawa looked very intimidating. I followed him silently, scared if I opened my mouth.
"Fatgum needed me to get you and bring you to U.A high school. He said something about your education not being completed. Principal Nezu will fill you in later." Aizawa stated, I nodded and looked up at him.

"B-but I thought I'd be too old to be accepted into any school." I mumbled, looking to me feet. I could hear a drawn out and annoyed sigh come from the man beside me.
"You'll be fine. Your education was halted due to the LoV kidnapping you. And due to no further education you can't get a job. On top of everything you don't have any family to contact, so you will be staying with some of the pros till you can handle yourself." He answered. My world stopped. I looked up at him with wide eyes.
"M-My mother is dead?" I choked out. Aizawa stopped and slowly turned to me.
"You didn't know?- Shit." He cursed. Tears welled up in my eyes and my head dropped.
"I knew something was wrong when even the pros couldn't give me her number." I whispered. I felt his arm wrap around my shoulder and pull me with him. Soon we slipped through a set of gates and into the school. He pulled me with him as he navigated the large school like it was nothing. We came to the principal's door and he let me go. The door opened and I automatically found somewhere to sit. I saw Fatgum standing by the desk and a animal in a suit thing sitting behind the desk.
"What happened? What's wrong?" Fatgum asked. Aizawa sighed and sat down.
"You didn't tell me that she didn't know about her mother." He answered. I could feel all eyes on me.
"I was going to tell her once we got everything situated. Everything has been very hectic." Fatgum replied. Their eyes moved away from me.
"I knew something was wrong since you couldn't get her number for me. Its okay, its not your faults." I murmured, I lifted my head and looked up at them.

"Miss L/n, we at U.A. would like to welcome you into the school. I have heard about your circumstances of why you couldn't continue schooling. I am glad to welcome you to the hero course here-"
"Why are you putting me into hero courses? I am quirkless. The only thing I know of is Shigaraki's quirk didn't work on me." I cut the principal off. He nodded and smiled.
"Because. you need to learn how to defend yourself. Also who's to know, maybe you have a shield-like quirk." He answered, his smile made me a little more confident. I nodded at him and stood up.
"Miss Y/n L/n we accept you here at U.A High as a student in the hero course." Nezu stated with a smile.

Arnar the Dungeon
Arnar is a dungeon core. Everybody knows dungeons are evil, man-eating entities hell-bent on killing and absorbing whatever wanders inside their depths. The problem is no one ever told him that. Well, the truth is no one ever told him anything and he refused powers-that-be when they tried to make him into the proper dungeon. That should teach them not resurrect people into dungeon cores. Now it is too late. He has a perfect plan to become the best dungeon on the continent and nothing will stand in his way. Especially something called common sense. Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way. The cover was created with the help of http://fantasynamegenerators.com/emblem-creator.php I hope you will enjoy my story.

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

I Need Time
An action, adventure, mystery and strategy story about a strong male lead. Author note: First time author, good amount of buffer chapters (over 50k words) so I will not drop this book anytime soon. This book will mostly be from the perspective of the MC. On average +5k words will be published per week. I have not chosen some of the genres and tags as I do not wish to give away parts of the story. I added the content warning tags as there will come a time for profanities, gore and maybe "traumatising" content. Though, in my opinion the content will be mild if not light. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER***** Synopsis: A college ICT student transmigrates to another world filled with magic and learns magic from a dragon. MC uses modern knowledge to develop magitech technology. MC starts his adventure using the technology he develops! Saving princesses, fighting hidden criminal organizations, learning how horribly medieval peasants live, reasoning with uneducated narrow minded people, investigating the nature of magic and searching for gods... Story review: A fantasy/sci-fi story filled with some common cliches yet presents somewhat original ideas and a few unexpected twists & turns here and there. This novel also explores a few of the commonly ignored topics concerning medieval fantasy like hygiene, culture, education(ignorance, narrow mindedness) and the fact that everybody is short because magical crops cost too much. Modern knowledge in such a setting can often times revolutionize the world if the protagonist is not an idiot or weak willed or thinks something stupid like he should not intervene in a society that systematically practices unequality of opportunity, slavery and other nasty things, of course sometimes the protagonist can be just unlucky by being enslaved, etc. In our case we are granted a protagonist who had an initial stroke of luck, learning magic from a dragon instead of struggling for years without it or randomly dieing. After that his luck goes down the drain. It is arguable whether the princess is a good stroke of luck or not, I digress. Anyway the challenges the protagonist must face will grow and no more luck or helping hands. After gaining enough power and security the protagonist will change the world for the better or at least give it a stronge push onto the right track. He will make a lot of lives better but things are never so simple and there is much more to this world than meets the eye... Missing genres & tags: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Magic. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER*****
