The vehicle stopped outside a high chain-linked fence. A thin layer of snow covered the ground outside.

This snow crunched under your feet as you hopped out of the car.

Jade walked over and lean against the car, "Right, listen carefully. This place is dangerous. I don't want to have to fetch both of you out of there."

You glared at her, "You won't have to."

Jade snagged a stick that was leaning against the fence and began to draw a quick map in the snow.

The makeshift map showed an "L" shaped building that had a square perimeter of fencing around it. An "X" on the left side showed where we were. Your job was to climb the fence and circle around the building to the inside of the "L" shape. This is where they kept the cars and the most likely spot for Nick. It had only been about 30 minutes since you last saw him. You guys were hot on his trail.

"...And this is where he should be," Jade poked at the car area on the map, "If not, then try to come back and we'll figure out a different plan."

She's a firm leader. "Sounds good."

Jade slid her foot along the snow to resettle it. "You have 15 minutes."

You began to climb up and over the fence. You landed with a poof into the snow on the other side.

Jade came up to the fence, "There are guards that patrol the place leniently. They are strong but not fast. Don't get cornered."

You nodded.

You turned and began to sneak towards the side of the large building. Slinking along the wall, you headed to the right towards the cars. They should be right around the corner. The snow was making your nose and feet numb.

As you neared the car area you began to pick up on some voices from around the corner.

Peaking around an air conditioner, you found two polar bears talking among themselves.

They had classic accents from the deep city. "Hey Dan, are we really leavin' him in the cab?"

With a thicker accent than the first, the other replied, "That's what Biggie said—and yuh-see I'm not one to question," the bear pointed towards a door, "You wanna go in there and ask then you go right on ahead."

"Alright, alright, I was just askin'."

"Don't sweat it, really. Just relax some, will-yuh?"

"I will I will. And we're still getting together for whiskey and cigars tonight, right?" the polar bear then sat against a pole—looking away from you.

"Of course, never doubt it." the other bear then leaned against the same pole looking the same direction as the first.

Whew. Both relaxed and not looking towards you. This is your chance!

Farther around the corner sat multiple cabs and a couple limousines. One of them was still on.

There's no way that's not Nick's.

You take one more glance towards the guards before carefully trotting along the snow. The sounds of the air conditioner and Nick's car running muffled the snow crunching below your pads.

As you neared the car, you heard the polar bears continue talking once again. This time it was about what would be for breakfast tomorrow. Don't care though—Nick has to be right on the other side of the metal car door.

Reaching for the door handle, your frosty paws touched the chilled surface. Your ears pushed flat against your head as you tugged on the handle.
