"Psst!"
"Pssssst!"
I mumbled, slowly opening my eyes. Everything was slightly out of focus. Did I hear something just now?
"Hey." said a whisper.
I sat up from where I was on the floor. I must've been out immediately after they put me in here.
How long have I been out? I looked around in confusion.
"Down here." directed the soft spoken voice. "You alive in there?"
I looked down and put my face near the sliver by the door.
"Who's there?" I whispered back.
I could barely see a thing. All I could hear was a small, female voice.
"Hey, you're the one who wanted to know what day it was, right?" she whispered back.
I blinked with surprise.
"Well, yeah, I-" I started.
"It's Saturday. You've been here for like six days." she interrupted.
Shit. My guess was pretty close.
"Six days?" I said a little loudly.
"Sssshhhhh!" the voiced hissed at me. "Quiet. I don't want them to hear me. I could lose my TV privileges if I get caught."
"Sorry." I whispered back meekly. "How long have I been out?"
"About a day." she whispered back. "That was really something you got worked up about yesterday."
I sighed.
"Yeah. I didn't mean to lose it. I just need to know so I can keep track and figure out what I've missed."
"Missed what?" asked the voice.
Shit. I forgot. Nobody else knows why I'm in here. I can't rat myself out to being the random chick thrown into a fictional world. Then I'd really be stuck here for good.
...
Then again...who else better to talk to?
"I need to know if my friends are okay. There's been an attack on USJ by the League of Villains and I need to make sure everyone's okay." I whispered.

Pause.
"Whoooooa." said the voice in quiet astonishment, "How do you know that?"
"It's kinda...complicated." I stuttered.
"But like, I'm the only one with TV privileges. And we're not allowed to watch the news." she questioned.
I stayed silent for a moment, trying to figure out how to explain it.
"Lucy," I heard an adult voice call out from down the hall, "what are you doing?"
"Nothing~." teased the voice in a playful, innocent way.
"Lucy, why don't you go back to your room. It's almost time for visitation." warned the woman, in a way that was both soothing and stern.
"Okay!" cried out Lucy, "Bye-bye. I hope your friends are okay." she whispered to me before I could hear her scurry away.
I sat back up and processed what I just found out.
Six days.
I've been here for six days.
That must mean that the USJ incident must've happened by now, and the festival must be occuring right now or already has. Too bad I couldn't see it in person. That would've been a sight.
But knowing I've been here this long, it must mean that Aizawa thought I should stay in here. Maybe for good. What I said must not have been enough.
Shit.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps walking towards my padded room. I backed up and waiting to see what was going to happen.
Click.
The padded door slowly opened.
It was the warden.
"Jane," greeted the warden, "glad to see you're awake. How are we feeling today?"
"Peachy." I replied, looking from her to the floor.
"I'd rather peachy than sour or bitter, so I'll take it." she said as she jotted down notes on her clipboard, "Come with me. You have several visitors scheduled to see you today."

I looked up.
Visitors?
"I know. I'm just as shocked as you." she said, "Someone with no record and no family, friends, or colleagues nearby with visitors is either very fortunate or lucky. Either way, I'm sure you'll be happy to see them. They seemed eager to see you!"
Uh oh.
Eager? Why?
"Now let's not be rude. We should get you ready so you're more presentable. Come come!" she said as she held the door open for me.
I hesitantly passed by her, her eyes not leaving my gaze. I get that I screwed up yesterday, but damn - helicoptering much?
I slowly made my way back to my room, all pristine and sterile as usual. The door slowly shut behind me as I looked to see I was alone in my room now.
'Well, I'm not sure who's coming to see me, but I hope it's my ticket out of here.' I thought to myself.
I sat down on my salmon colored mattress and waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Seriously, talk about leaving a girl hanging.
Just then, a knock on the door.
My head popped up, startled by the sudden noise.
"Come in!" I called out nervously.
The door opened.
"Ah, yes. You must be Jane Doe!"
I looked down from where the usual eye contact would be, to about knee height, where my eyes met a particularly fuzzy principal.
"Hello, my name is-"
"Principal Nezu." I interrupted.
