"Do you want me to show you a spell?"
-
Not the question Izuku was expecting this early in the morning.
How can he say no to this?
He doesn't know, so he stayed there, staring at his witch friend like an idiot.
She continued;
"We never really got to since..you know..."
"Oh, right.." memories cloud both of their minds and the horror they felt..was something of nightmares.
Deku is still astonished how she kept her composure that day...
Not wanting to think about it anymore, she cleats her throat and asks, "..is that a yes?"
"Um...yes!" He says confidently.
Uraraka smiles, giddy like a child and skims through the first page of her book, and a dark grin paints her face as she stares at the dragon menacingly.
'Ohhh fuck.'
She says some words under her breath and waves her mystical staff in the air, the stick creating lines of pink magic as it danced. Ochako smiles darkly into her book as the lines of magic become less transparent, almost glowing a dark pink.
"Lañdärià Malík-Taga!" the witch points her staff at the boy as she says the final words loudly, and he closes his eyes worriedly.
He doesn't feel any changes for a moment and opens his eyes to see the room around him looking different. Uraraka's no longer in front of him, but below him as he's no longer on his bed. Not fully registering the spell, he asks a stupid question.
"..it made me taller?"
"Look again, Deku!" she giggles. He looks down at his dragon feet and sees that they're the same length as always, but very much off of the ground.
"I-I'm floating!" he yells, not sure to flail his arms in fear or kick his legs in celebration. He manages an odd mix of both as the girl below him continues to laugh.

"Yep, isn't it fun?" She sits on her broomstick and floats up to his level, book and wand placed back firmly on her belt. "Eventually when we get her book back, you can learn spells like these, too, yeah?"
He chuckles, nodding. "C-Can you let me down please?"
"Oh, yeah, sorry!"
She clasps her hands over her book, fingertips glowing pink, and he's slowly floating downwards.
"Theere ya go!" Ochako chirps as his feet are plant safely on the ground.
"..thank you."
"What? Oh, come on, that spell was nothing-"
"That's not what I meant."
She hums in suspicion.
"Thank you for protecting him that day."
"Oh...yeah, that..." she says, a little embarrassed at how angry she was then.
Awkward silence clouded the room before she simply walked out, thanking him for the compliment.
Though she didn't go in the direction of the lobby, he didn't think about that at the moment.
His friends Bakugo and Kirishima- with Todoroki against the wall- stepped into the doorway, ready to go to whatever meeting going on.
"Ay nerd, you comin'?"
"Midoriya, are you ready?"
They asked at the same time, albiet blushing a little at that.
Izu didn't think much of the blush and simply followed them. "Yeah, I'm coming!"
The four of them walked to the auditorium, chatting about what their principal may have to say.
Could it be the location of the teachers?
Future classes?
Who knows?
What a pleasant way to start the day.
The reaper sits on a tree branch far from the school with two figures near him. One was a boy with black spiky hair, a dark ripped jacket, white tee, gray pants and darker boots. His skin was purple in very clean cut portions, equally on his limbs, tear ducts, ears and from his pecs to his mouth with stitches connecting everything.

"We need to get you some shoes, dude." The stitched boy states.
The reaper, Tomura, doesn't respond.
Below them stood a very mangled, deformed creature. It's brain was barren and exposed, eyes popping out of it's sockets and crooked bird beak.
"...so...when do we do it?"
"...soon. for now we play the waiting game-"
"Are you monologuing? Shigi, we came all this way, almost blowing our cover, and we aren't even doing this now?!"
"Quiet, they'll hear you. And yes, let's leave."
"Ugh, can we at least keep Bird Freak here?"
"No. He'll risk botching this entire thing!"
"....let's just leave then."
a portal appears in front of them, and they step through, after guiding the deformed creature into the warp gate.
It's almost time.
Before she follows the students to the front of the school, Uraraka goes down the dimly lit hallway, flipping through her spell book as other class mates pass by her.
Nejire bumps into her on accident, saying; "Sorry about that Raka, you coming?"
Ochako waves off the sudden hits and smiles. "Yeah, just...need to do something quickly."
Hadou doesn't question it as blue glowing light surrounds her, and she poofs into a much smaller form, flying away quickly.
The witch giggles as a stray ball of light lands on her nose, a few of them landing on the book and staying alight.
She mentally thanks the latter and walks down the hall as the miniature lights shine bright against the surrounding walls.
Finally reaching a far enough distance, she flips to a page in the middle of her book, marked with a feather, kindly lended to her from Fumikage.
A few words are said under her breath, and a portal opens in front of her. Through the portal sits a little brown haired girl, crying outside of her house on a big tree branch.
Her small purple dress is torn, witch hat thrown to the ground near the front door along with a familiar book. She has a peach feather in her hair, the same one on the witches' wand.
The witch steps through.
She should've done this sooner.
~
The little girl on the other side gasps, but says nothing as Ochako sits on the branch in front of her.
The girl wipes her eyes, trying to look brave. "W-Who are you?" She hiccuped.

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.
