ZARA

"Hey," Jay comes up from behind Zara, who is standing in front of the boys' hostel aquarium with a bottle of beer in her hand, watching the fish swim around aimlessly.

"Oh hi," Zara responds, smiling at him. She hasn't seen him all week.

"I hope you're not planning on getting drunk again, are you?" He jokes, gesturing to the bottle in her hand with his own bottle.

"Haha, very funny Jay." She responds. "Of course I'm not."

An hour later, she is drunk beyond reason.

She can't tell her right from her left. Jay finds her out in the lawn, starting to strip for the large crowd that has gathered around her.

"Hey!" He tells, trying to disperse the crowd. "Sod off!"

He is met with disappointed reactions from the crowd. He pulls Zara out of the crowd, helps her rewear her jacket, and leads her away towards the ladies hostel.

"What are you doing to yourself, Zara?" He asks her, watching her stumble over her own feet.

"What?" She asks innocently, smiling widely at Jay.

Jay shakes his head. "All this, drinking."

"You're no fun," she folds her arms and pouts, and very nearly falls to the ground.

Jay catches her before she falls. "Don't be like this," he tells her.

"I'm fine," she wails drunkenly, her words slurry, as she pulls herself away from his grip.

"No you are not." Jay insists, "you are drunk."

"And you, darling," she runs a finger unsteadily down his cheek. "You're hot."

"This is inappropriate." He comments, his heart beating faster.
