《Bite Me [Creek Love Story]》{Fifteen}

The room was packed, hot, dark, and suffocating. Couples grinded against each other and single people sulked in the corner with their other single friends. It reeked of horny teenagers and spiked punch and I wasn't sure whether or not I should get wasted just to keep myself sane. I decided against it, as I had Tweek to look after during the dance.

Since neither of us had tickets or enough money to actually get into the dance, Token had to pay for Tweek and I. Tweek actually had some cash on him, so he contributed what he could while I had left the house without my wallet and barely remembered to even grab my phone so I relied solely on Token. Of course, he did me a solid and I was in. That also means I owe him. I didn't want to go to this stupid party anyway.

Token, Tweek and I were the few without dates sulking in the corner but that was all right with me. Tweek didn't seem to mind either.

"Hi!" said a girl, running over to us with a big smile directed only towards Token.

"Hey," Token responded coolly. Tweek and I watched from the sidelines.

The girl, who had long light brown hair and unnaturally tanned skin, giggled playfully, "Let's dance!" It took me until just now to realize that she was a little buzzed, so I watched in silent amusement as Token made an attempt to decline but the girl was way too pushy to allow that to happen and she dragged him off onto the dance floor. I flipped them off from where I stood.

"P-poor Token!" said Tweek, blinking at the scene. Now it was just him and I.

I said nothing in response to Tweek's comment, instead stating what was on my own mind. "Let's ditch this place."

Tweek made a squeaking noise before shaking his head, "B-but Token already - GAH! - paid f-for us!!"

"So what? It's not like he's poor or anything," I reminded Tweek.

"Oh Jesus! Isn't th-that rude!?" he asked. I paused for a moment before nodding in agreement. "GAH! This is way too much pressure!!" Tweek exclaimed whilst tugging at his hair.

I sighed and grabbed his wrists, "Come on, Tweek. Let's go."

Tweek stared at me for what seemed like an hour or so before slowly nodding, "O-okay.." and with that, we made our way through the crowd. I was still holding onto his wrist just to make sure that we wouldn't get separated while trying to get out of there and eventually we made it onto the streets.

The night was freezing cold and I felt a huge urge to go home and crawl under my covers. But Tweek was there with me and if I went home then that meant he would go home, too. I kind of wanted to spend time with him, like when we were actually friends and nothing had ruined it. Back when I wasn't an idiot and talked badly about him behind his back. I let go of his wrist and slid my hands into the pockets of my [or rather, Token's] pants.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked.

"Ngh! I-I could use some c-coffee!" Tweek suggested.

I raised an eyebrow and glanced in his direction, "You're at that place for twelve hours a day and you want to spend your free time there?"

Tweek's eyes widened and his face turned a light shade of pink at this, "G-GAH!! I-I guess you-you're right! ERK! Too much pressure!"

I blinked and flipped him off before sighing. He didn't have his thermos with him, which meant he didn't have coffee, which meant that pretty soon he'd be off the charts in panic mode. So, without saying anything, I walked in the direction of Harbucks knowing that Tweek was following right behind me.

When Craig began walking in the direction that I knew Harbucks resided, I was a bit confused. Didn't he just say that he didn't want to go there? I mean, at the very least he had certainly implied such a thing. Yet now we're heading right to it! I almost told him that we were going the wrong way, but I refrained. This is Craig Tucker I'm talking about. He knows what he's doing. Then my mind wandered back to that day in Junior High. On second thought, maybe he doesn't know what he's doing.

Before I could muster the courage to speak up, Craig and I had stepped into the oh-so familiar coffee shop.

"Oh, Hiya Tweek! Hello, Craig," my mom greeted us with a giant smile. Dad must be taking a nap at home or something.

"Erk.. H-hello Mom!" I responded.

Though Craig said nothing, he gave a nod to my mother - a gesture which seemed to be good enough for her as she set down the magazine that she had been reading before we came in and went to make me my usual cup of coffee. Of course she'd know why we were here.

"What happened to that party?" asked Mom after she finished making my cup of joe and was walking up to us. We had found a spot to sit and I stared out the window as I waited.

"O-oh! Uh- I- uh I-I don't-"

"We got bored," Craig interrupted. He has his elbow propped up onto the table and his head resting on his palm.

My mom laughed, "That sounds just like you, Craig. Tweek went along because he can't bear to be away from you, huh?" she set the coffee down in front of me.

My entire face heated up at this comment, "ACK! M-MOM!!!"

"Oh, was I not supposed to say that?" she blinked before shrugging it off, "Oh well!"

Craig acted as if he hadn't even heard my mom. The only thing that indicated he had very well picked up on what she said was because he had glanced toward me after it slipped out of her mouth.

I stared into my lap, feeling my entire body shake from embarrassment, "T-too much pressure - ngh!"I muttered, pulling harshly at my blonde hair.

"How many times have I told you not to be so dramatic, dear?" sighed my mom. "Really, it's not healthy!"

"Y-yes - erk - mom!" I responded, willing me hands away from my head. But my temporary tranquility disintegrated when Craig flipped my mom off and I started to really freak out, "GAH! HE-HE D-DIDN'T MEAN IT M-MOM - ACK! Please don't kill him a-and feed h-him to da-dad and I for dinner! Eating Craig Tucker stew i-is way too much pressure!"

When all my mom did was laugh, I relaxed a little bit, "Craig's been doing that forever, Tweeky dear. I'm used to it. What happened, anyway? First you guys are best friends then enemies and now you're back to being Tweek and Craig."

Craig set his head down in the crook of his elbow on the table, his free arm held high in my mother's face and flipping her off. She swatted at his hand and chuckled.

Then the door opened and in came a customer, to my great relief. "Oh, excuse me boys," my mom said, walking back behind the counter to take care of the customer's needs.

"I-I'm sorry!" I said, bowing my head low and picking up my cup to drink the coffee inside.

"Don't apologize," mumbled Craig, lifting his head from the table and looking towards me.

There was a long silence before I broke it, "Let's go somewhere else.."
