At the Monastery of Spinjitzu Wu is meditating. He is interrupted by hearing the ninja arguing. Wu goes to the video game room only to find that none of the Ninja are there. Wu goes to the training compound and is shocked to see that the Ninja are actually training. Jay is deflecting arrows with his weapon, Cole is practicing on the dummies. Kai is practicing his Spinjitzu, and Zane and Aria are meditating.

Zane suddenly gets up from his meditation process and disturbs the other Ninja. He starts by jumping in front of Jay. He steals Cole's weapon for the dummy test and his spinjitzu freezes the whole compound, causing Kai to slip.

Aria opened her eyes and looked around "good job Zane, next time try to make them all slip"

"Oh, ok Aria" Zane nodded

"No!" Kai, Jay, and Cole shouted

Kai, Jay and Cole regroup. Wu approaches the three disturbed Ninja.

"Sensei, Zane's... weird" Kai said

"What is weird? Someone who is different or someone who is different than you?" Wu questioned

"No, Sensei. He's "weird" weird" Cole said

"We like the guy. He's really smart. He's just..." Kai sighs "a little off sometimes"

"Zane is a brother and brothers are often different. I should know" Wu says

The Postman arrives the Monastery with the Ninja's mail.

"Mail!" Kai, Jay, and Cole all run excitedly to the door.

Postman took out their mail "Let's see. A letter from Jay's parents" Jay grabs it "Kai has a fan letter" Kai grabs it "Oh, something from Cole's father" Cole grabs it.

"What? No package? I'm expecting something from Creatures, Beasts, and Beyond" Cole said

"No. Nothing from...uh-uh. Here it is!" He hands a box to Cole and leaves.

"Hey, Zane, Aria. How come you never hear anything from your parents?" Jay asked

"I don't remember my parents. I've been an orphan all my life" Zane replied

"My mom died when I was 5 and I'd prefer not to hear from my father" Aria answered

"That's really sad guys" Kai said

Wu placed a hand on their shoulders "The Monastery is your home now, you two have a family"

Zane sadly walks away

"I'm going to sleep" Aria said sadly before walking away

"Sensei we didn't mean to bring up a sensitive topic for them" Kai said

"It is alright" Wu said "I'm sure they don't blame you"

Later the Ninja are at the dinner table waiting for dinner.

"Oh, I love it when it's Zane's night to cook" Jay said rubbing his stomach

"Hey. I didn't hear any complains about my duck chowder last night" Cole said

"That's because it glued our mouths shut. You really thought Jay was speechless all throughout dinner?" Kai questioned

Jay laughed "Yeah. Please don't make that again"

"It's a good think Zane's teaching Aria how to cook and not Cole" Kai said and the others laughed

Zane enters the dining room wearing a pink apron while holding some turkey "Dinner is served"

Everyone starts laughing, Aria entered the room confused "What's so funny?"

"Zane. You're wearing a... Even I wouldn't wear that" Nya laughed

"You laugh because I take steps to ensure I'm clean after cooking?" Zane asked confused

"It's common sense guys?" Aria said confused

Kai shook his head laughing "Haha! No! We laugh because you came out wearing that ridiculous outfit!"

"I guess we all don't share the same sense of humor" Zane said to Aria

"Well, how about this?" Cole throws a plate full of shrimp on Kai's face.

Everyone except Zane laughs.

"How could you not find that funny?" Cole questioned and Master Wu pours soup onto Cole's head "Ah!"

Wu laughed "Now you are brothers"

A food fight erupts, but this still confuses Zane.

Aria growled and shouted "Don't make the fucken place a mess if you're not going to clean it up!!!"

"Aria language!" The ninja all shouted

Aria looked annoyed "Fuck you, fuck the world, fuck-"

Cole covered her mouth "ok we've heard enough, get to bed"

Kai shook Aria who wouldn't get up "Sensei she won't wake up"

Aria rolled over and slapped Kai across the face, her still being asleep. Jay laughed while Kai got angry "you little-"

"Let her sleep, just go" Wu said and the ninja left with Zane

Aria woke up to the smell of fire "What's going on"

Aria opened her door to the hall and saw it covered in flames, she screamed and immediately closed the door. She opened her window and saw the Serpentine burning the rest of the Monastery. As the flames burned through her door she had no choice but to climb out the window.

She started running away but was picked up by one of the snakes.

"What do we have here, trying to escape ninja" The snake laughed

By the time the Ninja return to the Monastery, it was burned to the ground

"We're too late. Those snakes" Kai said angrily

Cole quickly releases the Dragons to gain some fresh air.

"Aria!" Kai shouted looking around

"Aria where are you!" Jay shouted

Kai growled in frustrationed "She's gone"

"The training equipment, gone" Zane added

Jay sighed "Our video games, gone"

"They stole their staff back" Wu said

"What do we do now?" Cole asked

Kai's sorrow quickly turns to anger as he turns to Zane "If you hadn't followed that silly bird, none of this would've happened!"

"Kai!" Wu shouted

"No! Sensei, he's right! Because of you, my high score has been deleted!" Jay shouted

"This is a teaching moment. We must learn from this" Zane said

"A teaching moment? What's wrong with you? Don't you get it? Everything is gone! Aria's probably kidnapped!" Cole shouted

"Enough! We're all at fault. Zane is your brother. Apologize at once" Wu scolded

The three Ninja change emotion and turn around to apologize to Zane, but Zane is flying on his Dragon.

At the Hypnobrai Tomb Lloyd is tied to a pillar with Aria tied up next to him.

"Come on genius, you released them and got us into this mess, now get us out of here" Aria said annoyed

"why, so you can just run back to those ninja" Lloyd argued "no way, you said you'd stay with me, you lied and became a ninja, this is why I can't stand girls"

Aria sighed "Ok greenie, get us out of here and I'll stay with you, doubt you actually can"

"Come on give me a better nickname" Lloyd whined "you died my hair green once and now you call me greenie"

Aria laughed "yeah that was funny, now come on genius, get us out"

Lloyd thought for a minute "Do something, General. You're still under my command, right?

Slithraa nodded then turned to Skales "Enough! I am the General! You will return my staff at once!"

"No" Skales refused

"You dare challenge my command?!" Slithraa shouted furious

The Hypnobrai started chanting "Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit!"

"Slither pit!" Aria chanted with them

Lloyd gave her a questioning look "what are you doing?"

"I wanna see a fight" Aria replied

"I guess we'll have to fight for it... in the Slither Pit!" Skales declaired

The Hypnobrai and Aria cheer as Skales and Slithraa prepare for the fight.

The fight is evenly fair on the first round. The second round contained weapons. Slithraa takes a pick-axe and a shield while Skales takes two katanas. Slithraa throws the pick-axe at Skales, but Skales dodges it. For the next round the arena is tilted and the two snakes start sliding.

Meanwhile Lloyd manages to steal a map. Slithraa tries to hypnotise Skales, but Skales kicks him to stop the hypnosis. Skales then does a move that dizzies Slithraa and then kicks him on the ground.

Lloyd got worried "Get up! Get up!"

Slithraa doesn't get up, giving the victory to Skales.

"We have a winner!" A snake shouted

Skales gains a tail and General markings while Slithraa degrades to Warrior markings and his tail is replaced with legs.

The Hypnobrai started chanting "Skales! Skales! Skales! Skales! Skales! Skales! Skales! Skales!"

"You will be loyal to me now!" Skales commanded

Slithraa bows "I will do as you command"

Skales turns to Lloyd "You! Leave and never return!"

Lloyd held Aria's hand as they walked through the Sea of Sand. Lloyd looked up sadly to see the Ninja in a new ship to call home.

"So I guess you're going back now" Lloyd said sadly

"Lloyd come with me" Aria said "I need my best friend"

Lloyd let go of her hand "Sorry but I hate girls"

Aria looked sad "but Lloyd"

Lloyd turned around and walked away. A tear ran down Aria's cheek as she watched him. She wiped away her tear and climbed up the ship and ran in.

"Guys!" Aria shouted

"Aria!" the ninjas all ran to her and hugged her

"we're so happy you're ok" Kai said

"Where were you?" Wu asked

"The snakes took me back to their tomb, me and Lloyd got out, I came to find you" Aria replied

"We're sorry we left you at the monastery, you just didn't wake up" Kai apologized

"Yeah we're really sorry" Jay apologized too

Zane approached her "It's just that I found Lloyd's fort and I wanted to-"

Aria hugged him and smiled "that's ok big brother, I understand"

Zane smiled as well and hugged her back "I'm glad you're safe, little sister"
