So apparently I was going to act as bait. Since I supposedly share a striking resemblance to one of the merchants daughter. I was to act as the lead of a caravan of fine silks heading to Konoha. Their was no real cargo. It was all a clever illusion by sensei. It was time and we began in the trip down the road.
The trip was relatively calm till we reached a popular grove that most merchants rested at before heading to Konoha. It was here I sensed the presence that we were not alone. I played the carefree girl as I lead us back to the road. Were I felt our targets waiting. We were surrounded.
This is boring. I may take a nap. Nah I don't want to risk anything happening to Shurui because of my laziness. Troublesome woman. "Little girl. You know it's not safe for traveling these roads?" I could here the man laughing and could sense he wasn't alone. Time for our part. As soon as Asuma gave the sign we jumped out of the cart and landed in position protecting Shurui. I felt sensei and Choji jump into action while Shika stayed back. I knew he would need focus to use his bloodline so I got in front of him and prepared for anything. I felt a faint chakra source aproach. A bandit I'm guessing or hired mercenary. I sensed his swing my guess a blade. I reacted fast. I see his weakness......their. i hit his hand disarming him then sent a strike to his shoulder and elbow. I saw his chakra become cut off from his arm.
