《Lynn's story》Chapter 14

As Luca and I walked into the castle everything seemed normal. People would walk past and ignore us, uncaring. I looked up at Luca as Luca walked up to his-our room. We walked into the room and I shrieked, jumping onto Luca in fear. Luca caught me but kept his eyes on the person on the bed. Lurch stood when he heard Luca and I walk in. He cleared his throat and looked at Luca.
"Uh, may I talk to... him? Lynn, I mean?" He said awkwardly and my heart slowly calmed down. Luca stared at Lurch skeptically but put me down on the ground again, kissing my forehead then leave the room. I watched Luca leave then shut the door as I turned to Lurch. I decided to put up a facade.
"Lurch. What do you want?"I asked with no emotion. Lurch frowned and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Lynn I wanted to talk. We kind of need to after all don't you think? We can start with-"
"No. If we're talking, I'm starting," I said sternly and began, "you owe me an apology for how you talked to me before. You talked as if I knew what really happened to you! As if I knew the truth when I didn't! And now you want nothing to do with me, isn't that true? Then so be it. If you really meant that then leave," I told him as I stared up at him. Lurch stared down at me then took a step towards me. He frowned down at me then sighed.
"You're not my 'mother'. You're not my 'mommy'. You're not my 'mom'. You are not. My family. I have none. You are merely a pack member. That is all you are and all you'll ever be to me. Nothing more and nothing less. I'll see you around Lynn," Lurch explained to me then walked around me and out of the room. I took a deep breath as his words repeated in my head and I sighed softly. I would never get through to him. He was just a pack member. Fine. That was probably the best it was gonna get. I turned around as Luca walked into the room, looking down at me.
"Are you alright? Did he say anything to upset you? Did he hurt you in any way?" He asked me as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and a smile found its way onto my face.
"I'm just fine Luca. I'm great," I said up at him and laughed softly. I kissed his hand and pulled away from him, walking to the bathroom. As I walked in, Luca followed curiously. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow, "Luca, what's on your mind? I know you want to say something. We are bonded after all," I told him as I pulled my long hair up into a ponytail, tying it with a band I found on the counter. Luca let out a sigh as he leaned on the doorframe to the bathroom.
"I just wanted to ask you if you were all ready to move to England. I am ready to start my life with you. To be together with each other alone. I'm ready," I snapped my hairband on my hair while tying my hair and I yelped from the hairband snapping my finger. I turned to Luca confused.
"'Move to England'? What do you mean? I'm not going anywhere," I repeated him then crossed my arms over my chest, watching him. Luca frowned as he stopped leaning and straightened up.

"Well, Lynn, my family is in England. My brothers are heading back to England. We are leaving in 2 days. I have responsibilities in England. I thought we would be living there together now that we are together," he explained to me and as he spoke, I kept shaking my head.
"Nope, nope, nope, nopity nope, nope, nope, not a chance, Nah Nah, NO!" I kept repeating as he talked then yelled 'no' when he finished talking. There was not a chance I was moving to England! This place was my home! Of course, I know I couldn't force him to stay but I just really didn't want to go. I hope he would understand that I'm connected to this place. And if I left, I'd be surrounded by foxes and curious eyes since I would probably be the only wolf. I walked past Luce, going into the room.
"Luca, I would never be allowed to leave either way. Alpha Zeek would rather kill me before sending me somewhere. Well maybe not anymore but I'm not sure. I don't want to leave my home," I explained with sadness thick in my voice but Luca's scoff caught my attention.
"'Home'? This isn't your home Lynn! You worship these dick head that fucking raped you and beat you close to death! They put you in a horrible apartment! This pack treats you like shit and you say they're your home! Lynn, your parents dropped you in an alleyway to die when you were just a couple of hours old! For fuck's sake, your son wants nothing to do with you! Are you so fucking stupid that you can't see that you have no family Lynn?! NOBODY FUCKING WANTS YOU!" Luca yelled and glared at me. My eyes widened as I listened and I felt a lump in my throat as tears threatened to spill. Luca must have realized what he said to me because he gasped and reached out to me with wide eyes, "Lynn, I didn't mean-"
Before he could continue, I got up and left. I ran out of the room, tears falling down my face as I cried. I ran down the stairs and down one of the hallways I had never been to before. As I was walking I suddenly bumped into Blake. I bowed my head before thinking and he let out a sigh.
"Look, Lynn, I know I wasn't the nicest to you and I know I was a dick. I did that because you're an omega but you don't seem that bad so maybe I could get used to having you around. So for now, I guess you could say I'm apologizing and wanting to make it up to you?" He said with a small smile and I looked up at him with a weird look. I sniffled and wiped my eyes clean to try to stop myself from crying more. Was he apologizing for being rude? Rare. Blake stuck out his hand to shake and I let him shake my hand till he suddenly started to pull me down the hall.
"Come on, we can do some bonding now before I gotta go. Plus it'll distract you from whatever you were crying about, which I won't ask about by the way but I'm gonna guess it has something to do with Luca. Zeek said his gang was gonna be in a fight against some other gang and I wanna join in cuz it might be interesting fighting with wolves. Even though the only people I know in the gang is Lurch, Zeek, Reef, Bigger, Boot and Blitz, I'm pretty sure it'll be fun and there'll be more guys. And Augustus and Cloud said they might join too. But besides that, I'll take you to lunch," he said as he dragged me out of the castle. Oddly enough, I didn't protest. I didn't want to. I think it would be good if I was friends with my mate's brother. He pulled me into his car and I yelped as I fell into the seat. The car was low, even for my height. Blake looked at me as he watched me fall in from the driver's side.

"Lynn, stop playing. Come on," he said as he grabbed my legs roughly to push me into the car properly. I frowned as the car started to go and I looked to Blake. He did somehow look like Luca slightly but not enough to be him.
"Soooooo...would you care to explain the change of heart towards me?" I asked as I fixed my shirt and straightened it out. Blake shrugged as he glanced at me while driving.
"No, no reason, I just-"
"Don't lie"
"Alright fine. Luca said you were pissed at him and that you needed someone to rant about him to so he forced me into it. Then me and him broke out into an argument about if I could eat a full pizza so I'm gonna test it. But hey, from what Luca says, you're not that bad so I don't mind," he finally explained properly and I raised an eyebrow in curiosity but then he added, "plus I wanted to know what it was like to hang out with Lurch's mom" and my curiosity disappeared. I glared at him and chose to ignore his comment about Lurch.
"What has Luca said about me?" I asked and watched amused as a blush came to Blake's face and he laughed nervously.
"He-well-he...okay he has said some nice things about you. Says you're caring. Says you're protective, loving, cute; which I now believe after getting a good look at you, friendly and among other dirty things that I'd rather not say," he explained sheepishly while scratching the back of his neck with his free hand, using the other hand to drive. It was my turn to blush and I rolled my eyes. Of course, he talked about that. It was obvious they had mated so telling his brothers came as no surprise to me.
Blake stopped in front of a small diner and I looked at it in curiosity. I had seen this diner before but, obviously, could never go in. I got out of the car after Blake and followed him into the diner. Blake flirted with the woman at the counter and I just rolled my eyes with a huff. Men. I followed him and the woman to a booth at the window facing the parking lot. Blake slid into his spot and I was going to slide across from him but the woman suddenly blocked him, too focused on flirting with Blake. I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Are you serious?" I grumbled to myself and the woman suddenly turned to glare at me.
"Excuse me?" she asked harshly and I instantly looked down, showing slight submission even though this woman was a human. Blake chuckled softly and looked from me to the woman.
"He means; move your fucking fat ass out of his way so he can sit," Blake said with a smirk still on his face. My eyes widened as I looked at Blake in shock. The waitress gasped and slapped Blake across the face with our menus then she threw them on the table and left in a hurry. I watched as Blake rubbed his cheek, growling softly. I sat across from him and frowned.
"I'm sorry Blake," I said then leaned across the table to him, "let me see. You're bleeding," I said as I got out of my side to sit beside Blake and look over his cheek. Blake stared down at me and raised an eyebrow.
"It's a tiny cut. It doesn't hu-OW!" Blake started to talk but I pressed my finger to the wound, cutting him off and making him yelp in pain. I rolled my eyes and brought his head down, examining the bleeding cheek.
"Blake, the metal part of the menu cut you deep. It should heal fast thanks to your abilities but you need to stop the blood from spilling out," I told him as I reached over, grabbing a napkin to soak up the blood. He grabbed the napkin from me and held it on his cheek himself as I moved back into my spot.
"Why?" I had to ask and he shrugged.
"She came onto me first and started saying sexual things before I could. I don't fuck whores," Blake said with a shrug.
A male waiter came up and started asking for our orders. Since I couldn't read, I choose the picture that looked the most pretty and pointed to it.
"So you want the burrito supreme? Spicy or no?" asked the waiter and I frowned slightly. I didn't know what spicy was. I glanced at Blake in uncertainty and he frowned slightly before answering for me.
"Not spicy for him and get me a pizza. Just a whole pizza," Blake said as he grabbed my menu and his, giving it to the waiter.
Blake didn't question my illiteracy and it made me thankful. We spent the entire lunch talking about what Luca had said and, to my surprise, Blake agreed with me about staying. Our food came, Luca taking a 'before' picture of his whole pizza and even though we ate in silence, it was comfortable, not awkward. Once we finished eating, Blake, took a picture of me across the table from him and the empty plate where the pizza was as an 'after' picture for Luca. Blake then paid and we left. The drive back to the castle was filled with laughter, Blake making weird jokes and telling old stories of when Luca was a kid. By the time we had made it back to the castle, I was crying of laughter and my stomach hurt. It seemed that Blake and Luca were the closest to each other out of all of their brothers considering they were very close in age. I calmed down slowly as I turned to look at Blake. He smiled down at me but it slowly faded as he cleared his throat and grew serious.
"Look, Lynn, I had another reason for taking you out. I needed someone to talk to and I thought it should be someone that won't tell anyone and someone I can trust. Well, I trust you now so I'll talk. I'm in love," he said in a serious voice and my eyes widened. Oh my god, not with me right?! I didn't realize I had asked him out loud until I saw him glaring at me and I laughed nervously. Then he continued.
"No not you, dumbass. No...someone worse. I don't know! I've just spent a lot of time with him lately. Like he's never left my side since we got here. First, we would spend time sparring and just be fighting in general but the second day we kinda got used to each other. Then on the third day, when Luca met you, he and I spent the entire day together until we were called back to see you and Luca. God, then the last 3 days were like heaven on earth. No, he's not the prettiest face around but I really don't care. He's really smart even though he acts dumb and cool in front of the gang. Apparently, he wanted to graduate high school but thought it would be cooler if he dropped out so he did. He's an idiot but an idiot I can't help being in love with. Every time I see him, I want too hug and kiss him and just be with him. When he flirts with women, it makes me sick. Like physically ill. What's worse is when we meet up again he talks about some girl he fucked at some point in his life and it...it just hurts. Like it kills. But last night...oh Lynn it was amazing. We got completely drunk off our asses, well he did not so much me, and somehow we made it back to the castle. We had sex last night,"-cue my face of disgust-"but when we woke up this morning...he just wasn't the same. I tried talking to him and he ignored me. When I asked if he wanted to hang out, he said he was going to be busy so I let him be. I feel like he regrets it and thinks it was a mistake but fuck it wasn't. It really wasn't. Not to me at least...I haven't talked to him all day and it hurts. My chest hurts. I just want to see him. I just want to see him smile, to kiss him again, to be inside him again, it doesn't matter! I just want to be with him again. I love him so much Lynn, you don't understand." Blake finished explaining and my eyes stared at him, wide in shock. This boy was head over heels in love! I smiled softly and placed a hand on his arm gently.
"Blake, this may come as a shock to you but for what it's worth, I think he likes you too. He spent every day with you instead of out doing drugs-yes I know who you are talking about because I'm not as dumb as you think- and he must have loved every minute of it to stay with you that entire time. You need to tell him how you feel. And soon. Blake, you're not gonna be here for long! You're leaving for england soon! You can't give up on this chance!" I encouraged him and leaned over, kissing his cheek in a comforting way. I pulled away and punched his arm gently in a playful manner.
"You're not that bad you know? I like you. You're fun actually. I thought you were like Alpha Zeek but I guess not huh? You're different. You got a good side to you." I said to try to make the mood cheerful again and less serious. Blake took the bait and let out a weak chuckle.
"Yeah and I thought you were gonna be weak and scared the entire time but I found it hilarious how you got mad about being ignored by a whore," he said with a laugh and I pouted.
"I wasn't mad. Just slightly frustrated that she didn't realize I was there the entire time and staring at her!" I said with frustration and Blake laughed more.
"Eh don't worry about it. Now go have fun around the castle. I gotta go and meet Reef and Bigger. Then we're going to the fight. Be safe Lynn. And please don't tell anyone what I told you," he said as he walked back to the driver's side of his car and I turned to him.
"I will but Blake, seriously. Be careful. Those fights get out of control and sometimes they bring weapons. People die. Blake, you seriously need to listen-"
"Lynn. I ain't gonna die. They're gonna throw me in jail before I die. I promise you, kid, I'll be there for your wedding or the birth of your first kid. Which comes first at least," he said as he pulled out a pack of smokes, pulling one out and lighting it. I sighed softly and frowned, still worried but decided to let him be. I turned and walked into the castle, listening as Blake's car drove off.
I walked through the halls and let out a soft breath. I looked to the hallway where I had bumped into Blake and decided to take a walk along it again. I stopped in front of a door and raised an eyebrow. I had never been in here before so I tried it out, opening the door.
The door I opened was a giant training room. Mats lined the floor as punching bags hung near the back. The room had mirrors on all the walls but one that contained gloves, weights and weapons. The room was so massive that in one corner was a boxing ring was looked like it was coming out of the wall with a small door to go behind the wall.
I jumped as I heard a punch land and I looked at the punching bags. I was relieved to see it was Zack there instead of someone I wouldn't want to see like Lurch or Alpha Zeek.
"Beta Zack?" I called softly and he whipped his head around to look at me over his shoulder. He smiled down at me but it changed to a frown and I knew why. He could probably tell there was something bothering me. Beta Zack sighed, turning fully towards me. My eyes widened when I saw Beta Zack with a bigger stomach than normal. It wasn't large but it was definitely noticeable. Beta Zack was pregnant?! Since when?! I cleared my throat but could not tear my eyes from his stomach.
"Um so... You look different?" I tried to steer the conversation towards the child but didn't know how to exactly so I just guessed. Beta Zack raised an eyebrow as he placed a hand on his stomach.
"Yeah I got my hair cut," he said sarcastically before continuing, "Lynn, I do realize I'm pregnant. I do realize that I have been pregnant for about a couple of weeks. And I do realize that the father isn't around. At the moment. He's working. Anyways, don't freak out. I was told I'm allowed to workout as long as I don't overdo it," he explained to me and I let out a sigh of relief. Beta Zack chuckled down at me and patted my head gently. I swatted his hand away, having had enough of people touching my head and rolled my eyes. I looked up at Beta Zack scowled.
"Lynn. Tell me what's going on. Come on, I'm not blind. Your eyes are slightly red and it looks like your lips are too moist to be normal. Plus you got dried stuff around your eyes. So either you gave the best blowjob ever or you were crying. Either way, start talking," Beta Zack ordered as he sat down on the mats, patting the spot beside him. I stared down at him then sat down beside him. I looked to his stomach then up at him, making him frown again, "Lynn, you can touch it if you want. The baby has been growing surprisingly fast since I'm basically only on the third week. Guess that's what 3 months of pregnancy does to you," he said and instantly I reached my hand out and pressed it to Beta Zack's stomach. There was still some muscle there but it also felt like some stomach fat. I smiled when I moved my hand around. A perfect ball. I pulled away from him then started explaining. I explained what Luca wanted and what Luca said to me before I left with Blake. I didn't explain much about lunch with Blake since Beta Zack probably didn't care and cared more about the reason I was crying earlier. By the end of my explaining, Beta Zack snarled loudly.
"That fucking dick! Oh, I'm gonna strangle him. OHHHHH I'm gonna strangle that little ni-" I gasped and cut Beta Zack off with my hand over his mouth before he could continue.
