《it's archaic》jungle cries
Advertisement
☾︎ the winds howl
when the jungle cries,
the sound of love's sorrow
plays all night,
piano keys fall and
piano keys rise,
piano keys hurls the
pianist with a fight,
say, when the water
rushes to your side;
are you drowning in the depths desperately waiting for
blue and white lies?
or are you being embraced by
the sound of a silent lullaby,
a cautious war-cry,
a mid-april sky?
☾︎ sunflowers open at
the shade of your eyes,
honey and gold burning
on candles under sunlight,
you've been told your
dreams will grow cold,
frozen like the becoming
of a strange song;
that the clock will break,
time will be torn,
all that was yours
will be thrown behind,
the thread of fate is
but a crestfallen sight,
but sunflowers only
open at the dawn's awhile.
☾︎ i wonder, is it easier to
leave than to make things right,
there is this feeling in my chest
that i'm afraid i can't hide,
a pain so pretentious
reaching to great heights,
in some sweet moments,
it threatens to become a fallen kite,
a glorious suffering ending as the jungle cries.

first verse inspired by "your lie in april"; second verse inspired by "your name"; third verse inspired by "a silent voice"- i hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading.

The Fate Eater
What might a man really do if he found himself reincarnated into a fantasy world as a dragon prince? How would he come to terms with his new nature, his larger-than-life family, the agendas of warring factions, and the destiny he never asked for? Its characters have their own lives and aspirations, and our protagonist is but a piece of the greater tapestry. This story is not about right and wrong, or good and evil. It's about a dragon-man being tested by fate, power, and time. It's about what it's like to live as an outsider who lost their home. But perhaps the most central theme is freedom. What does freedom really mean? What will it cost and how much might one be willing to pay for it? Does it even truly exist? Let's find out together.

With the help of magic, humanity reclaimed its throne above the world's other inhabitants and created civilizations almost as grand and extravagant as the kingdoms and republics of the past. But with every piece of innovation, arises a piece of chaos. The Great Reverse gave rise to horrendous and terrifying creatures. Not much is known about them, because their very nature makes them hard to study. It is believed that they arise from human turmoil itself. They have tangible bodies, but they're mercurial and erratic. Additionally their sole purpose of life is to instill despair within the world. They are those who walk through the night with no soul, no heat, no individual thought.
