《it's archaic》moonrise
Advertisement
☾︎ what if the seven heavens fall down at moonrise?
would you run away to find the side of the earth with sunshine?
imagine the sky is falling to your feet; the glaciers are melting in the seas,
does that sound like something you would believe?
☾︎ what if the seven hells are creeping up at land at moonrise?
would you right all the people you've wronged in your lifetime?
what if the whole world could see your lifeline?
imagine the land parts beneath your feet; and the witches are seeing fortunes like bad dreams,
i could see it in the rush when i swirled my tea, something's happening to humanity, something that can't be stopped by any kind of sorcery.
☾︎ a child's cry is the first sign of misery,
old men crashing to their old knees,
the cab drivers being pushed to the backseat,
nurses treating the women with low heartbeats,
unmoored souls roaming these dead streets,
the middle of the city loses its dignity,
what if the earth is dying and we can't leave?
☾︎ what if the moonrise lasts for a thousand years?
we have to bear the weight of seven heavens and the skies on our bare backs,
the heat of seven hells through the mud cracks,
humanity is gathered on the barren land,
when moonrise happens, with whom will you stand?
—
a/n about the world ending and misery extending vastly throughout all kingdoms. obviously fictional, a far-fetched fragment of my imagination and i hope you enjoyed reading this.
also lol, please don't mind my over the board stories, it's actually one of the only things getting me through lock down.
the song : can't imagine by shawn mendes, i would love if you could listen to it while you ponder over the question, when moonrise happens, with whom will you stand? because it's obvious that the person you think about is the one who matters most to you and these times are fleeting, so it's best to let them know that you care.

Bon Week-end
He runs the underground. She’s made it her playground. Their time together--the stuff of pulp fiction. When a corrupt corporate conspiracy threatens to tear them apart, they blast back with their offbeat brand of crime and chaos. This story is just one from the pulps. Film critic Roger Ebert once described them as ‘cheap, disposable entertainment that you could take to work with you, and roll up and stick in your back pocket.’ So do just that--and read it on the weekend. Bon Week-end is a novel written in the tradition of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s neo-polar, existing now as what shall be known as the neo-serial. This is Nippoten’s second serial following the superhero epic Entirely Presenting You. This novel will have a rather unique release schedule compared to others. To stay up to date, check out the main site and more specifically the chapters page.

A Tale of the Ages: Gods, Monster, and Heros
The past get's forgotten. Or so they say. Maybe they're right. Even the gods forgot the beginning, the reason it all started. But I refuse to forget, even if I'm driven mad by the memory. Salvation? It's pointless. No one is worth saving, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth helping. No one is a plaything, but everyone's a pawn in this game. I hate it. Who's playing? I don't know. I don't even know what the game really is. I gave up on figuring that out after a time. What I do know is that I want to tell you all a story. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end, as any good story should. But, I really don't think you'd keep listening if I told it in order. So, we will start at three points; you'll have to figure out where they are in the overall story. The story of Hal and instinct, a pair so close that they might as well have been one. The story of The Husk, a creature on a hunt that would span generations. The story of Mask and a hero. How one will come to learn of the other's past and the many faces they had. Do you know where you stand? Do you side with the gods, the hero, the demon king, the experiment, the cursed, the blessed, the monsters, the forgotten? Well? I know. You don't know anything yet, so you can't say. So, enter our world, and find out what side is what.

A Suspicious Lack of Horses
World: The framework of reality. The rules which govern interaction. The dimensions within which existence takes place. Soul: Mind. The source of thought, of consciousness. The means by which reality is observed. Body: Form. The means by which one interacts with the World. The substance from which reality is formed. Spirit: Life. The connection between Soul and Body. The anchor to the World. What happens when these foundational forces are given human form? When they're confronted with the truths of human nature, of human frailty? When the evils of reality are thrown in their face and the question is asked: What are you going to do about it? Why did anyone ever think they'd need horses? I upload ~30k word chunks at the beginning of every month, rotating through each character in order. I have at least four extra chunks on my Patreon. I suggest setting your reading preferences to indent and 30 pt paragraph spacing for the best reading experience.
