《The Bad Boy's Broken Girl (Complete and Edited )》Chapter 33 ❌

The trip to Paris to say the least was amazing, if you forget about the run-ins with my dad of course.
We were headed home on the airplane in our seats, preparing for take off.
I've never really been a fan of planes but it wasn't so bad with Alex by my side, as corny as it sounds. My thoughts drifted back to my dad how he actually believed my mom when she thought she was a goner.
That he listened, if he truly cares about his wife and kids he would've relented, my mom wasn't in the best state of mind either with her illness, I sure as hell know I wouldn't listen to Alex if he thought he was dying and told me to move on, leaving my kids behind.
The very thought terrified me, my parents were both at fault they should've worked it out, maybe things would be different, maybe I would have a father.

Alex dropped me off at my house after we arrived and left the airport.
I was getting my bags and he was helping me.
''You okay, babe ?'' He asks, his brow furrowed it was truly adorable.
''Yeah,'' I sighed.
''It's just, I want answers you know?'' I tell him referring to my situation regarding my dad.
''Oh, I know the feeling alright, I'm sure you'll get them though, love.'' I smile, kissing his cheek.
''What would I do without you?''
''Most likely die of boredom.''
''Sounds about right.''
**
''You know prom's coming up right? Oh and graduation is around the corner, can't you believe it, Bec?'' I sighed on the phone laughing breathlessly at Carmen.
I'd forgotten about prom, and graduation. It just hasn't crossed my mind. ''Yeah, Car I can't wait till university, I applied for Stanford you know that's my dream school.''

''Yeah, we'll hardly see each other though I applied for Georgia State.''
''Damn, I'll miss you Carmen.''
''I'll miss you too, Bec. So what about Alex, where'd he apply to?''
I want to continue my relationship with Alex till death, he was my other half, I have to be close to him, I can't imagine him miles and miles away, it's not good for me or him.
''I have no idea, with all the drama we hardly talk about college, I'll try to bring it up, but haven't you applied to any other Colleges just in case?''
''You know it.'' I laugh, I'm really gonna miss her.
''So how are you and Elliot?'' I say innocently.
I hear the line go silent, she hung up.
**
''Mom, I saw father in Paris.''
I walk up to my mother, who's sitting on the couch watching a
movie.
''What, no that can't possibly be true.'' She laughs nervously.
''Mom, please,'' I sigh. I'm tired of the lies, I lived my life without a father, so I at least deserve the truth about it.
She stays quiet, a blank expression on her face.
''He told me everything, how you told him to move on, how you-''
''I know! And I regret it every single damn day, he shouldn't have listened to me, I wasn't well for Christ sake!''
That was the first time, I've ever seen my mom break down.
Her strong walls, boom! Knocked down. She thought she was doing the right thing, but everyone was hurt in the process, I held my mom that night, hoping everything happening with her would be alright.

Ring!
Ring!
Ring!
I groan, throwing my alarm clock at the wall. Today we go back to school, I was dreading it because final exams were in two weeks, followed by prom in another week, then graduation the next week.

All together that adds four weeks, one month of school left. I was scared to grow up, I was scared for college, knowing I could be separated from Alex.
I get up take a shower, and put my hair in a high ponytail. I put on some skinnys' and a hoodie I stole from Alex. I was planning to talk about college with him today during free period we share together, and then after school I promised Carmen we would go shopping for prom, and graduation.
I decided to walk again today, seeing as I haven't walked with Ashton to school in a while, I grab an apple and start walking.
''Hey, Bec.'' I hear Ashton say.
''Hey, Ash did mom tell you about..'' I was hinting at father, it was a sensitive subject for us, Ash was more like the father in my life.
''Yeah, can't believe he would listen, we needed him at the time, more then anything.'' I shake my head yes, and the school comes into view.
''Well, bye Ashton.'' I say. and he waves grinning.
"Bye, Becky.'' He says using the nickname I despise.

''Hey, love.'' Alex greets hugging me from behind.
''Hi, Alex.'' I smile kissing his cheek. I grab his hand swinging them.
''So, I wanted to talk about college.'' I say not beating around the bush.
"What about college?'' He says, This is so frustrating.
''Where did you apply?''
''So I know you want to go to Stanford, so I applied somewhere close by, UCLA by the way and I was thinking maybe we rent an apartment together?''
''Ugh, this is why I love you.''
''I know, I'm a genius right?''
