''You know our flight for Paris is tomorrow, love.''
Alex says kissing my cheek.
Our flight for Paris was tomorrow? I've been so caught up I didn't even realize it.
''I'm a bad girlfriend Alex.'' I sprawl on my bed on Alex's warm chest.
He smells like sugar and spice, like Alex. ''Yeah your such a bad girlfriend, I couldn't believe you remembered my birthday.''
I smack his chest and glare at him.
"I've been caught up in things.''
He smiles and pulls me to his chest again. ''I know babe, I was joking. I love you.''
He smiles showing his dimples knowing I can't resist.
''I hate you.'' I grumble, moving off his chest once again.
''I love you!'' He shouts, I go to the kitchen and get me cookies. I stuff my face until Ashton comes in,
"Hey sis.'' He says.
"Hey Ash.'' He comes and ruffles my hair stealing some of my cookies.
"Make sure you two don't do the dance without pants while I'm around. Wait, don't do it at all!''
I blush and glare at him, he knew Alex came over last night.
''Shut the hell up, Ashton.'' I get more cookies and munch on them angrily.
"Woah, tiger what's got you angry, baby?'' Alex grins.
''Nothing. Just Ash.'' He nods understandingly and hugs me from behind kissing my neck.
''Let's do something today.'' I inhale his scent and nod.
''That reminds me bring Elliot, Carmen really likes him and since we'll be alone in Paris for like two weeks, we can introduce them, and I feel bad, I never met Elliot and he's your best friend.''
''Sure, love let's go to a party or something.''
''Ok, it's a plan.''

Alex left to get Elliot and get ready for the party.
I called Carmen up and she's at my house causing a ruckus of my closet and freaking out because she's going to hang out with Elliot, they talked before but it wasn't as serious before.
''Do I look okay?'' She asks, Carmen was wearing a gold dress with beautiful designs and it brought out her hazel eyes, that and the smokey eye.
She put on red lipstick that I'm sure Elliot would find sexy, her black hair was curled to perfection. She didn't look okay.
She looked great.
''You look awesome, Elliot will be all over you.'' I wink, she blushed.
"Shut up, it's time for me to get you dolled up for Alex. I can't believe you get to spend two weeks with him, alone! You might as well have your cherry popped, girl.'' I resemble a damn tomato right now.
''Shut the hell up! Carmen I'm not getting anything popped.''
I glare, while she grins.
''We'll see.'' I ignore her while she goes though my closet.
''How about this one?'' She holds up a black dress that's more like a shirt.
"That dress screams, 'Take me right here, right now' it won't even cover my butt.''
She laughs. ''Okay, how about this one.'' She holds a blue skater dress.
''Sure, I'll pair it up with a leather jacket and some black heels.'' I take the dress from her and go change in my bathroom.
I put on my accessories and go back to Carmen.
"Now how do I look?'' I ask, she looks up and grins.
''You look awesome, now let me do your hair and makeup.''
Twenty minutes later, my hair is pin straight and I have on natural make up.

"Awesome let's wait downstairs, they should be here any minute.''
We go downstairs and get in five minutes of TV. There's a knock on the door and my mom beats me to it I sigh, we'll be leaving much later now.
''Hey, boys you better take care of my girls tonight.'' She walks to us and hugs us, I have a look of surprise on my face because I thought she would pound them with questions.
She winks and goes back in the kitchen. I took the time to notice over the months my mom's hair grew back and she's sporting a bob, she looks great.
I look back over to Elliot and Alex, Elliot was checking out Carmen with a smile on his face she blushed, ''You look beautiful.'' I hear him say.
I feel hands on my waist and a kiss on my nose.
"You look beautiful as always, love.'' I look into Alex's blue eyes. I put my hands around his neck and kiss him, he tastes like mint and I feel him bite my lip, I gasp and he slips his tounge in my mouth and we fight for control of course he wins.
I feel a smack on my butt, and hear Carmen laugh.
''Stop making out and come on we have a party to get to.''
I glare at her, making out with Alex was awesome.
''Come on baby, we have two weeks to make out after today.'' I look at Alex and grin when he winks.
''Damn straight.'' We head to the party, I plan to have fun and watch Elliot and Carmen get together.

The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.

Dream Dungeon
Welcome to the dream dungeon. Ely suddenly finds himself in a mysterious dungeon accessed only through sleeping. Many people are drawn into this dream world, confused and mystified. Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.

Twisted Skies
After his master's death, Thurain leaves his rural home behind and travels to Heliana, the cramped city founded on the scientific progress of cultivation. Under a fake name, he aims to enter the Elemental Path Sect, the place of his master's death, to find both his killers, and closure. However, surrounded by the strange and horrible wonders of Heliana and its mixture of heroes and villains, his master's death is not the only murder he may have to solve. --- First attempt at a xianxia novel from me. To shake things up from the usual formula, the setting is more steam-punk than you might expect, and there are elements of murder mystery mixed in with the standard formula (though I'm not entirely sure yet how far to go with it.) I wrote this a while ago for NaNoWriMo, only posting it now for various reasons. Enjoy. Also, cover is highly temporary. I'll probably replace it with something nicer eventually.
