Numb was the only word that comes to mind whenever he came around. I've lost the butterflies within weeks. I no longer felt any excitement or happiness when in the same room. I was drained and numb.

Unfortunately, I've brought this to myself. I was compelled by his song of wits and charisma. He sang it so beautifully, that I overlooked his intentions. He knew I was vulnerable and desperate for happiness of any sort. Even if I didn't carry true feelings for him, I was hungry for affection and was willing to adapt to his definition of fondness.

Our intentions weren't met, no matter how many interventions were placed.

In this tug of "love" , I now felt your strength. It was never for love, only for lust.

I blame myself for using you as a coping mechanism. Now I'm left numb, doubting my next.
