Taylor had left their New York apartment early in the morning. Gaga had said her goodbyes before he left. already she miss his muscular arms around her waist. This is what they had signed up for when they made it big, so together they had to deal with the pain of being apart.

Taylor had been gone for a few hours. He had promised to call Gaga when he left the airport in Chicago, but there was nothing. He should've already called by then. Gaga decided to try to call. The phone didn't even ring, just went straight to voicemail.

Gaga started getting anxious. Maybe his phone just died. She kept thinking of possible reasons why he wouldn't call. None of it seemed right. Taylor always answered and always called when he promised.

She laid back down in bed, hoping he would call. Her phone started ringing with a Chicago area code. Immediately she picked up the phone and answered.

"Hello?" Gaga answered.

"Hello, this is Chicago Med and we're sorry to inform you that Taylor Kinney has been in a plane crash and he's here in critical condition" the lady sounded calm.

Gaga's heart broke into a million little pieces. She answered in a whisper "I'll be there as soon as I can..."she trailed off and hung up the phone.

Tears started falling to the floor. Gaga rushed to get dressed and catch the next plane to Chicago. She called Ed, her driver, as well as her mom so she could go to the airport.

Gaga didn't even care about her make up. She didn't know what to do. The love of her life was in critical condition in the hospital. How could this be any worse?

The plane ride was simple, but Gaga's mind never stopped to breathe. She thought of the senarios of how Taylor was the whole time. None of them would end well.

After the longest plane ride if her life Gaga already had a car waiting for her at the airport. She stepped in and they drove away. She was still crying even if it had been a few hours since she received the call.

Driving down the Gaga turned to look out the window to see headlights, then nothingness. Replaying throughout the noise of her car rolling over with the sound of metal crushing, the lyrics to Macklemore repeated itself:

It's the part of the show where it all fades away. When the lights go to black and the band leaves the stage and you wanted an encore but there's no encore today cause the moment is now, can't get it back from the grave.
