RIDDLE MANOR
For Christmas Percy had bought the perfect presents for each of his friends, their families and his father, he even had bought him self a small present. And for the Malfoy Christmas ball which was held the night of Christmas he had bought brand new dress robes which suited him very nicely. So far the day had gone without any trouble, although it was snowing heavily the Manor seemed warmer and brighter.
Percy trudge through the snow trying to reach the stables. It was a modest sized one, with 20 or so stalls, each containing purebred horses. Although there was elves taking care of the stables Percy loved to help out. He gave treats to each of the horses talking quietly to each of them, and yes he could understand them. His powers seemed to confuse his father, Not like he was complaining but being able to control water, speak to horses and marine animals? yes it was a weird combo.
Percy then went to the last stable to the right where his own horse - Blackjack- stayed. Blackjack had a sleek raven black coat that shined and it was obvious he was taken care finely. Percy walked up to him and stroked his mane "hey Blackjack" he greeted yo boss! got some donuts? yeah his mighty steed is definitely unique.
After he gave a few treats and talked for a while he begin his journey back to the warm environment of the manor. Once he got there he went back up to his room to change his attire to a pair of worn jeans and a knitted dark blue sweatshirt. He then decided to finally ask the question that had haunted him for the pass couple of months.
He went to his Fathers study knowing he was probably up there doing some extra work, he knocked before he slowly went in "Father? are you busy?" he asked before shutting the door behind him. His father looked up from the papers scattered in front of him "hmm? well yes but your here anyway" Tom seeing his serious expression sat straight and ushered him to the seat in front of the desk "what's the matter Percy?" he asked slightly concerned "um well I was wondering... who is my mother?" Percy asked hesitant.

Tom analyzed his question his face betraying no emotion "The dreams? have they come back?" he asked which Percy nodded to. Tom sigh before standing up and paced his office "Well Percy from what I know your mother was a witch named Sally Jackson" his father told him softly.
Hearing the name of the woman who gave birth to him made him remember the soft smile and caring eyes of his mother from his dreams, who then was being chased by some beast running for her life. Tom having saw the memory him self abruptly stopped pacing with a quizzical expression, this woman.. it was hard to place but he recognize her. Where had he seen those soft brown eyes and wavy brown hair? her voice seem familiar to him too.
Percy saw the abrupt stop in his father's pacing and saw the expression in his face "father?" Percy inquired confused. Tom looked up to Percy "well yes strange very strange now run along Percy I am very busy" Tom said ushering Percy out "but father- "just go Percy" Percy sulkily walked back to his room where he tiredly plopped down the arm chair by the fire place.
massster iss everything alright? Phobos asked slithering up Percy's arm "just tired Phobos" which was true since he could feel his eye lids already drooping goodnight masster was the last thing he heard before he sunk into another nightmare.

Briars and Thorns
Millenia ago, humanity faced a catastrophe. Some devastating, catastrophic event that even to this day leaves its impact on humankind and the Earth. That’s not where our story takes place though, instead we look to space, where humans have taken up residence among the stars. Living in huge industrial space stations, life is a bore. Dull daily routines are broken only by extravagant fashion, music, and other means of self expression. Also, of course, the lifeblood of the stations- games. Four months ago, humanity was contacted by the first ever known alien life forms. These aliens, calling themselves the Erta offered their designs and schematics for their True Virtual Reality (TVR) console, as well as access to their game in exchange for peace. And humanity, excited at the opportunity to achieve one of their life long dreams (that is, to experience True VR), graciously took them up on their offer. Now, after scientists have finally confirmed the console to be safe for humans, the game is to finally be released to the public. This comes to the joy of most of the population, but a small portion of them can't help but be upset. As thousands of the researchers meant to be developing virtual reality, are fired overnight. Meet Brian Reed, one of these newly unemployed workers. Now, join Brian as he explores the very game that was the death of his job. And watch as he learns that the game is not quite what it seems.

World War Academy [DROPPED]
EDIT: Hello, as you can tell this story is dropped. reason why this is the case is that I really didn't know where I was going to take this story and really, I wasn't satisfied with how I was writing here. However I am currently writing a completely new story and with it is that I am taking some aspects from here and using the ideas on my new story. New characters, new ideas, new plot, everything is completely new. So I hope that goes well and i'll leave this story up as reference for me in the future. Thank you Akani Kizuato. An 18 year old that recently started to live on his own to get away from life. With his sister and father dead from the wars as they fought in, he tried to continue life and tried not to let it get in his way. It may seem that way but with his whole life planned out, it may not seem to be. He had been rejected from all universities within the nation despite being top of his class, which is very unusual because even local colleges rejected him. It was as if he was banned to go to any of those places but uknowingly why. As he ranted, and relieved stress on the school rooftop, he had received an email from an anonymous source saying that he was accepted into some academy, which he had never heard of before. With events that lead up to his mysterious encounter with people who are there to take him, it may be quite a ride. Cover art made in Adobe Spark.
