"Then who was it Waldo?!" You say, punching him gently on the shoulder. You realize that you're starting to tear up, you recognize one of the feelings.. this weird bubbling feeling in your chest that just makes you want to hit something, but this other feeling.. it was weird. It just made you want to scream and cry. It wasn't exactly sad but it was..

" I-" Waldo takes a deep breath and adjusts his beanie. "It wasn't me. Even though I was up in arms earlier I.." he rubs his shoulder "I couldn't actually hurt her at all. She is still one of my friends after all." Waldo grabs you by the shoulders and he pulls you into a hug. "I really do apologize though I- I shouldn't have hurt those people." you felt yourself growing hot and embarrassed as Waldo holds you close.

"I know you were just trying to protect me, just.." suddenly you hear a loud sniffle behind you as pulls back from the hug and looks at you, his nose drooping with snot and his eyes watering. He looked like a sad dog. 

"I know but-" you gently pat Waldo on the head. 

"L-look, it's alright. Don't get too caught up about it but.." you glare at Waldo. "Don't do that again!" Waldo nods at you and grabs your hand for a minute, he looks at it and grips it tightly. 

"I won't do it again. I promise."
