As I was about to walk their way someone grabbed me by the arm.
"What the he-"
As soon as I turned around I saw a concerned Millie.
"I need help !"
"Millie I c-"
"Please !!"
"Millie I have to win a bet I made with Finn !, can we speak about this later !! Please ?"
She sighs and shakes her head no causing me to groan and jump.
"I don't care about your stupid bet just help me !!!"
....
"Jeez fine ! What !"
"OK so Noah is so sad about Pamala and Finn hanging around and it's upsetting me ! It's like only you can make him feel better !"
I sigh and put my hand on my forehead.
Soon my eyes grow wide as I see Finn coming out of the Boys restroom.
Quick y/n tell her some advice !!
YOU CANNOT LOOSE THAT BET.
"Millie just tell him there is other girls out there TRY EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER ALRIGHT?! LOVE YOU BYE !" I say
I got out her grip leaving a confused Millie standing there.
I made my ways towards the two teenagers as they talked to one another.
"Oh not so fast !"
Finn.
"What now ?!"
"You little cheater ! I didn't have anything in my teeth ! You only said that so you could get ahead !"
I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"Wow ? Want a cookie ! Either way there was no point of doing it. I didn't even get to talk to him cause Millie needed some help or whatever"
I turned to look at the boy who was by himself.
"Maybe,...maybe we shouldn't um do the bet. You know it's dumb."
He had a point.
"Fine, we won't do the bet"
He smiled and I did to.
We started walking back towards the table where all of our friends were sitting down.

"Hey guys what are you talking about ?" I ask.
"Were just catching up." Caleb says.
I nod my head and join their conversation.
I started to zone out thinking why Finn wanted to end the bet..
Was he scared to loose ?
Did he not like Pamala ?
Was he jealo-
Nah.
I'm thinking to much of this. I should just stop focusing on Finn. But sometimes I can't. Especially since we're going to be living with each other for the entire year. Plus we also work together so that's just very hard to deal with.
I want nothing to do with him.
I need to get distant from him.
.

The real reason I ended the bet was because I didn't want her taking to that guy.
The way she would describe him would just make me tear up a little.
Honestly her talking to any other guy just throws me off. I don't like her...at least I don't think I do, But she flirts to much with other boys.
I'm just looking out for her even if she thinks I hate her. Maybe I do. Maybe I don't.
Only I know.
I don't like This story.
Because it sucks.
But people wanted me to continue it.
So here ya go.
Don't forget to and

Taverns edge - A mercenary's guide to Ley Line traveling
The taverns edge is a fiction that centers around a pair of unusual friends. A mercenary that happens to be a princess of fae, but prefers to stay in a well-known établissement instead of staying in the Sidhe. Moira. Being half a dragon doesn't really help getting along with snobbish elitists at her mother's court. Like all sidhe she likes to strike a good deal... Which has led into many a disaster... Though she always tends to get by, especially when she gets home to the Tavern on the edge. The mentioned établissement is run by the formidable Barkeeper and jack of all trades Tora, who happens to have a very interesting past. Which involves more than one sinister secret... Now add to the mix a totally clueless elven girl - a mortal, not a fae- on the run. Lunara. She has unknowingly struck a deal with the devil - quite literally. Now unable to handle the consequences on her own she enters the tavern on the edge. An epicenter for magic and the only place where she might find help. She talks Moira into helping her out. A race against time begins as the deal's symbols appear on Lunara's skin. The journey leads to the dwarven empire, the sidhe and wherever the crossing leylines under the tavern may lead. This fiction belongs to the same universe as Ancient Blood. English is not my native language, so please don't be harsh. This story is an adaption of an idea, that we, a friend of mine and me, have developed over a few months while taking a break from learning. Some parts were written by Emberspark. Thank you for allowing me to work with your ideas and letting me publish this as a whole. Updates... I will try to frequently update both of my fictions... Well in case you are interested I post it on Scribble hub, too. I really don't steal from myself 😂
