Arturo was sitting on top floor of his mullet storey business headquarters in Milan behind his desk. He was drinking a glass of white wine with one hand and was flipping through pages and pages of reports from wall street. He was a shareholder in multiple business corporations. It was his routine to read reports before he went home. That day he was working late long past his usual time.

Just then he heard the door open. He looked up and saw his wife at the door. He smiled "I knew you would be coming to see me..."

Anna shook her head as she closed the door soundly "What time do you call this Arturo? Get changed and we go home now to have dinner... I even finished work early today so we can spend some time together." She then started walking towards his desk "Pack up your papers.. You are coming home and dont you dare bringing any work home..Do you ever see me bring any papers to mark at home? No. I always leave my work at the University where I do research and do lecturing part time... Even I dont bring home the reports of my business ventures home. Its all in my office in my office..."

Arturo smiled amused "I have had work to do my sweet cherry... Are you done with the rant?" He then stood up and walked to a nearby wardrobe.

Anna huffed as she followed him "Dont you dare turn your back on me?"

Arturo chuckled as he opened the wardrobe door "Honey, I am going to start getting changed... isnt that what you want?"

Anna sighed and leaned to his desk as she crossed her arms over her chest"Hurry. We need to pick our son up from Vitale's home..."

Arturo turned around and closed his wardrobe door as he started wearing his coat "He is studying with vitale. We can pick him up any time.. So it means we have some time to kill. Dont we?"

Anna rasied an eyebrow "No. We had some time to kill..... I was waiting for you to show up... You didn't... come now... We will pick up Andreas ... Andreas doesn't need to study very long. He knows his books by heart... I want us to have dinner as a family as often as possible... You make it possible if you bother to show up...," She then paused as she saw what Arturo pulled out of his pocket. it was a pair of keys..."

Anna asked "What is that?"

Arturo spoke "It is a set of keys to your new car. You can drive now but guards must be sitting with you and you are allowed to only drive this car... No other car but this one.. Its safety is the most enhanced..."

Anna got up from the desk "You let me drive now... Wow... Wait... Whats the catch? You took my car away a year ago and gave me a chauffer after I had an accident when someone hit my car from the back and hardly scratched it that wants even my fault.... What do you want in return.."

Arturo held the car keys in the air as he pretended to look hurt " What makes you think there is a catch this time?"

Anna approched Arturo slowly and then tried to grab the keys as she muttered "Because I know you..."

Arturo laughed and held the car keys up in the air where she couldnt reach making Anna sigh "What do you want?" She then put her hands on her hips waiting.

Arturo stated "Bribe me."

Anna was sounding annoyed "Name anything..." She wasnt thrilled at how Arturo declared victory always. Her husband ruled everything and anything under him. She had to obey him but she was the only one who could even negotiate with him. No one questioned him unless they were ready to face the consequences. Being the cousin of Francesco Rosario and being married to one of the most influential Italian criminal had meant that she could have anything she wanted... Of course all with Arturo's approval... She was happy with living with Arturo no matter how dominant and demanding he could be with his strict rules that made no sense to her... But sometimes she wished Arturo could be more softer. But her husband was a typical strict German-Italian with great love for her but his commitment to his rules. It was hard to make him laugh and she was the only one who could make him truly laugh.

Arturo gave her a smile in triumph "Now.. cherry pie.... Why do you do this to yourself? Are you sure you want me to name anything?" He then put the car keys in his pokcket and took a step towards Anna who stared him down.

Anna smiled and leaned closer as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She stated "What do you want? Say it Arturo..."

Arturo's expression softened "What I want? I want you..." He then leaned closer and kissed her lips gently... He then wrapped his arms around her waist. He slowly ran his hands up and down her waist as he passionately and gently kissed her.

When Arturo pulled away he spoke " I want you to quit your job for this term. We don't need the money. I need you in my home with Andreas more often.."

Anna shook her head " My part time job doesn't affect my life.. I can work on my business from home if you wish but can't quit my part time job at university..."

Arturo insisted " One term only... I am busy this term... I need you safe at home while I go on business trips.. The next few months are significant.."

Anna stated " I can be safe. Arturo ... your territories are safe and you know it. My security is tight. Why do you ask me to quit my job this term? Why? When there is no urgent need?

Arturo stated " Do you have to ask that?" He then moved his hands lower. He lifted Anna in his strong arms and moved her towards the wall.

Anna found her back hit the wall as she found herself standing on her feet. She then found her hands pinned to the wall with Arturo's hands... His grip was as tight as always and his mischievous glint in his eyes was radiating danger as always... Even though she had been at his mercy before so many times, it felt still like it was her first time being dominated by him.., Her heart was beating as fast as it always did when their intimacy excited her.., Arturo was an authoritative criminal who took no non sense but he was romantic. When they made out it was as though there was just the two of them in the whole world.

Anna trembled as his hot breath was on his lips and she couldn't move as he had pinned her to the wall. He whispered " Don't question me cherry pie... I don't like it.., You will quit your job or there will be consequences. You know the end result of disobeying me... Is that right cherry pie..."

Anna retorted " Do you know the end result of my defiance?" Anna bit her lip. No one else spoke to Arturo like that. He was the one who gave the orders not tolerating any negotiations. She got away with it of course... Only she could speak to Arturo like she did. She was free spirited and independent. She didn't live any other way to the horror of her in laws who were proper German-Italian disciplinarians. They were horrified at her rules for her son. They were horrified at how liberal she was... Of course she belonged to Arturo so no one dared question her. If anyone questioned her it was like questioning Arturo. But their life was a power battle. Behind closed doors Arturo lectured Anna but that was were they left it at.

Arturo gave out a dark chuckle " Cherry pie... I will oven roast you tonight properly."

Anna shook visibly from a mixture of excitement and anticipation. He never failed to surprise her. He took no nonsense but loved her back with all his heart and even when he was displeased he displayed love.

Arturo made Anna lose her breath as he took one step closer and covered her body with his as she was pinned to the wall with his firm grip. He moved her hand above her head and pinned it higher as he stared into her eyes his hot breath on her lips as his body was touching hers " Defy me now... I dare you.. Say that you refuse to abide by my rules in driving and I will show you what happens..."

Anna's heart raced " Arturo...." She was out of breath.

Arturo slightly moved even closer even if it was possible completely making Anna's body pinned to the wall totally helpless making her heart beat go faster... He craved her touch. He inhaled her scent " I love it when you fight me and I love it even more when you surrender.... Surrender to me.."

Anna took a deep breath as he stared in his eyes as her body was driving her to a frenzy. She wanted more " Make me."

Arturo smirked " With pleasure." He then leaned close and just when he started kissing Anna, the phone rang making him groan. He pulled away reluctantly " Whoever it is, they are going to be in my black list. I don't like late phone calls..." He then kissed her cheek " Sorry. We will pick up where we left off after the call." He then reluctantly let go of Anna who let out a shaky breath feeling a mixture of relief but anticipation for what was to come later. She still felt the same excitement she felt on her wedding time every time he touched her for the first time when the rules were lifted. When their wedding had meant they were free to do what they pleased and make out to their heart's desire they had let it all go. She loved making out with him more than she liked fighting him. So Arturo made he surrender with love and pleasure. She walked to the desk and stood facing Arturo from the other side of the desk.

Arturo walked to her desk and picked up the phone. He spoke with a harsh tone " Arturo Agostini here, state your business...."

" You Ambrogio? I was hoping you would hang up when I said my name. Most people hang up... What do you want?"

Anna watched the change in Arturo's expression.. Some people were going to pay tonight. Arturo seemed outraged.

Arturo stared in a harsh tone " He is meant to be studying with vitale and he said he is staying late into the night at his home.... Now he has ended up at your club... All of them have some explaining to do... Tell him and his groupies to prepare some pepper explanation since I demand it.... I will question Tiziana, Vitale and scorpious properly and I don't accept excuses."

Anna closed her eyes as she heard what was going on. Andreas was like her. He couldn't be bound by rules and tied down... Nothing scared him and nothing broke him. He was strong enough to protect himself and fast enough to run... She was impressed how he managed to defy his father and dig his way out of trouble... Negotiating with Arturo was impossible but her son managed it. By the sound of it there were Rosario with him.. Rosarios were the ones who were not allowed in Voltolini territory but when anything was forbidden it looked good to the teenagers... When the kids ended up at ambrogio' club he called Arturo to pick up their son and arrange for Tiziana and Vitale Rosario to get home too to Pietro and Sofia who took care of the Don's interests in Milan and other major Italian cities.

Anna closed her eyes and noticed Arturo's silence. He was staring at her deep in thought.

After seconds of silence Arturo asked firmly " Did you give him permission to run off to Ambrogio's club?"

Anna sighed " No... But ... Look. The area is safe. The kids need to seek thrills. If we don't let them they will go elsewhere to seek it. Ambrogio's club is an ancient building and they love exploring its short cuts and tunnels. Let Andreas have some fun..."

Arturo stated " This is not about fun? This is about his defiance. He took no permission to do this. He defied my orders. He did not ask me..."

Anna spoke softly " I am sorry... He would ask you next time... I would talk to him..."

Arturo stated " There is no next time... He is grounded until Christmas."

Anna gasped " That's too extreme. He would go crazy in the house."

Arturo spoke " He won't be in the house. He can leave ... but under my supervision. He would be shadowing me everywhere if he wants to step out of our home."

Anna sighed " Our son does not need extreme discipline. He acts more mature than any kid his age... He knows the risks and he knows if he can handle the risks or not... ... My son needs to write you an apology letter and that should be the end of it Arturo. Nothing has happened...We will talk about this tonight."

Arturo stated " Tonight we won't be talking. I will be making you surrender all night... Remember." He then walked away towards the door as Anna sighed and followed.

Arturo opened the door and held it open " Go home Anna. I won't take long to bring our son home."

Anna sighed. They were in front of his secretary and guards. She wasn't to argue. She didn't dare. He became very angry when she did that. Her son could suffer more if she defied Arturo that night. Anna didn't want to push the luck of her son. He was the one in trouble and not her. So she nodded " I will see you." She then kissed his cheek and smiled " Don't be long honey."

Arturo nodded " I would make quick work of them tonight. Don't worry."
