everyone treats me
Tired of how everyone
just uses and depletes me
Wherever they are,
they just want me to accompany
never do they ask me
where I really want to be.
Everyone just 'wants' me
But no-one really 'needs' me
They assume I'm happy
They never saw my anxiety
Every one would just call me
To discuss their every problem
and later they just scorn me
when they feel they are done
I wish someone out there
just comes to me.
Asks me if I'm REALLY happy
someone whose Presence is comforting
Someone who cares for me genuinely
Someone who tells me
that I'm not alone
Someone who dispels my anxiety
Someone who's selfless to the bone.
Someone around whom
I'm comfortable
Someone who tells me
that I'm likable
Someone who's touch
gives me butterflies
Someone who knows I'm upset
just by looking in my eyes
And the day I find that 'someone',
all my grudges would be gone
Just Me, My Companion
and a love lasting lifelong.
