《Ballet Boy [Ballet With The Bad Boy]》16 Years Old Continued

Music was booming around the house and random people littered every space they could squeeze in too.

I hadn't been back home since my little discussion with my Mum and had been crashing with Reece and his brother Owen.

Owen was in the same line of business as me, so he had no problem with me staying. His only condition was I gave him a small cut of my profits to cover the bills which I easily agreed to.

It was Saturday so naturally Owen was throwing a house party which almost every 16 year old in Dundee was invited too.

There were loads of older people too since they were Owen's age but I knew most of them from the drug circuit.

Some girl was dancing all provocatively in front of where I sat in the front room but I couldn't care less about what she was doing.

I was merely staring at my cup of beer and swirling it's contents around. Usually I was always up for a party, but for some reason tonight I wasn't feeling it.

It might have been for the sheer fact this was the third night in a row Owen had thrown a party and I was tired, but I had a gut feeling it was something else.

"Hey Leo, we're going out the back, wanna come?" Reece shouted over the music, his head peering around the corner of the doorway and beckoning for me to follow him.

Deciding whatever he was calling me for was better than watching this girl try to impress me, I downed the rest of my beer and followed the direction Reece went in.

Every so often someone would say hello to me and I would just nod in return, not bothering to speak to them since I didn't know half of them.

The heat of the crowded bodies was starting to get to me and I brushed my hair out of my face and tied it into a loose bun so the strands wouldn't stick to my clammy forehead.

I rolled up the sleeves of my long-sleeved t-shirt too to let some air onto my arms.

Reece dragged me to Owen's room on the second floor and I already wasn't looking forward to going considering the smell that was lingering in the air the closer I got to the door.

As soon as the door swung open, I didn't want to be a part of what was going on.

There were around 4 guys and a girl, all sitting in random places of the room, shooting up on what I guessed was heroin.

"You know I don't deal with this stuff Reece, not this time." I'd placed my arm on his shoulder to garner his attention but it was already caught by his brother who was currently doing a line of coke on his bed.

"Hey boys, want some powder?" He grinned, his fingertips rubbing at his nose as he passed the small bag of white powder to his brother.

Reece gladly accepted it but I stood still. Yes, I may be a dealer and smoke weed every so often, but I wouldn't do things like this.

"Leo?" Owen questioned, moving past his brother to stand in front of me.

Owen was 24 years old. He was also a lot taller and leaner than me.

"I'm good." I replied, flashing a quick, partly sarcastic smile at him.

I went to turn around and leave but Owen's grip on my arm halted me from doing so.

"Why you being such a killjoy? Have some fun." Owen replied, flashing the same smile right back at me.

Looking past him, I noticed Reece had already snorted some of the white powder and began rubbing at his nose like Owen did to flick off any excess.

"I'm not. I just don't want to do it."

Owen still let go of my wrist as he held out his other hand to his brother for the bag.

"I thought you dealt? What? Never tried some of your products?" Owen pouted, dangling the small bag in front of my face.

"I smoke weed, Owen. I don't snort, inject or ingest." I was starting to get agitated with how this was going.

Owen raised his eyebrows, letting go of my arms and holding up his hands in defence.

"Oh, so sorry your highness." He put on a stupid voice as he spoke which earned a couple of snickers from his high friends around him "Didn't realise we weren't catering to your standards darling."

Instead of retaliating like I normally would have, I looked I've rot Reece who looked slightly conflicted himself.

"See you at school, Reece." Turning around, I went to leave but as I predicted, Owen's hand gripped onto my arm to stop me.

Instead of stopping like before, I spun quickly and sent my free fist flying towards his face.

The blood that spurted out from his now broken nose covered the nearby wall and caused him to release his hold and fall backwards.

"What the fuck Leo!?" Reece shouted, grabbing into his brother before he hit the floor and grimacing at the blood that flowed down his face.

"I know, I'm sorry, he can't snort coke for a while." I shrugged my shoulders at my 'friend'.

Part of me wanted to convince him to leave with me, but he was his family and I knew he wasn't going to turn his back on Owen.

As I made my way down the stairs, my right hand flexed slightly from the impact and a dull aching mad itself known.

Everyone downstairs had no clue what had just happened and random people were trying to get me to talk to them or dance with them.

I went to ignore them all until my eyes landed on a familiar face.

"Can you come with me?" I was blunt and it definitely caught Laura off guard, but I needed her right now.

Laura was in my dance group, I don't think I've ever spoke to her outside of lessons before considering she goes to a private school a little out of town.

"Leo? What are you doing here?" She tilted her head to the side in confusion, probably at the fact that I was talking to her.

"Just follow me-" I nearly shouted at her but I kept my cool "please."

She looked reluctant, none the less she quickly downed the rest of her drink and followed me out the house.

Laura was a nice girl, she was a pretty brunette, a really good dancer and was actually my partner for an upcoming showcase at the studio.

The dark of the night had already fallen and it was hard to even look out and see anything around you.

"Fancy practicing for a little bit?" I asked her and I could just about make out her face which bore an incredulous expression.

"Are you for real? It's like 10pm and there is no where to practice." She stopped following me abs folder her arms over her chest.

"Look, I know somewhere we can go, I just wanna get the last bit nailed before we have to do it."

I didn't want to snap at her, she didn't know about the other side of me. You know, the drug dealing, weed smoking, punching people in the face side of me.

To all the other attendees of the dance school, I was just a quiet guy who loved to dance.

She looked like she was debating my request and eventually she rolled her eyes and caved.

"Fine."

We took a slow and steady walk until we made it to a large park which had lights illuminating the far end. As we moved closer, the skate park came into full view and Laura scowled at it.

"You actually practice here?" She questioned, her eyes noting the graffiti ridden slopes and the numerous beer cans that scattered the concrete.

The skate park was always abandoned at this time of night, especially because of Owen's party.

It was a good place to practice since the flood lights were always on so it was well lit and there were multiple open spaces around to move in.

"Yea, it's quiet this time of night so it's a good place to be alone." I explained, shrugging off my denim jacket to leave me in just jeans and a black t-shirt.

Neither of us were in proper attire, but I'll take any practice I can get to distract myself from the shit I have probably just caused myself.

Declining Owen and punching him has put me in a very dangerous spot. If he held a grudge, it won't be good news for me.

Looks like I might not stick around in Dundee after all...
