《florence - enola holmes》where are we going?!

hello?- clairo
i shout at tewkesbury who's currently dragging me by the arm.
he pulls me around a corner and pushes me against the wall.
"we need to stay quiet. got it? there are people hunting us down." he whispers to me, looking around to make sure no ones looking.
"i know i know." i sigh. "but where are we going?"
"i don't know yet ok!" he snaps.
"ok, ok. sorry i wasn't trying to be annoying." i tell him.
"just, come on." he says, grabbing my wrist and pulling me behind him.
where is he pulling me to?
who knows.
enola's pov-
"you may not like me. you may not think what i'm doing is right." mycroft begins as we ride in the carriage, rain pouring down outside. "but even your blessed mother made a match. even your blessed mother was a bride. i want you to be happy."
"no. you want you to be happy. you want me and flora controlled. because otherwise you think we will affect your standing." i tell him, tears welling up in my eyes.
"you both have already done immense damage. as has that errant brother of ours." he tells me.
"let me out of this carriage. i will deny i am your sister to whoever asks, and i will do it with pleasure." i say leaning towards his face.
"you are my ward! and you will do as you are told!" he screams at me.
tears.
that's all i can feel as they run down my face.
"and your sister was too foolish to turn herself in along with you. it would've been so much easier for her if she did so. now enola, tell me where she is." he says.
i do nothing but stare forwards.
i would never in my entirety of life, reveal something like that.
we're sisters, it's practically the rules.
"i said, where is she?!" he screams once again.

"i don't know!" i shout, my voice cracking in the process.
"hand it over." he says reaching his hand out towards me. "it is my money, after all."
i slowly pull the money out of my dress.
i barely have it fully out as he snatches it from my grip.
why did i give it to him?
i'm so stupid.
"good girl." he says, as i can do nothing but sob.
i truly wish i didn't tell florence to go with him.
i guess the main reason was because i know she wouldn't do well at the finishing school.
everyone would make fun of her for loving nature so much and loving literature.
but it's what's best for her, for us.
i love her with everything i have.
and deep down, i know tewkesbury does too.
florence's pov-
i look to my right as tewkesbury walks beside me.
we can't necessarily find lodging, people will see us.
we can't go to my home.
me cant go to his home.
the only place we can really go, is well, nature.
"so where exactly are we going florence?" he asks me.
"why do you call me that?"
"call you what?" he questions.
"florence. it's quite dreadful, the entire thing. just call me flora." i tell him.
"oh so we're on a nickname basis, ok." he smirks to himself.
"oh hush, it's much easier and shorter to say. so in reality, i only told you to call me that for your benefit." i tell him.
"whatever you say, flora... oh and i had a question i meant to ask you earlier, but..." he trails off, most likely not wanting to bring up what happened.
"uhm... wha- what was the question?" i ask him, not really wanting to know what he meant by 'earlier'
"why did enola tell you to leave with me? instead of going with her, or all of us leaving?" he asks me.

what am i supposed to say?
'oh it's due to the fact that i'm practically in love with you'?
uhm..
ignore that.
"i'm not sure, she probably has her reasoning though." i tell him. "and to answer your question from earlier, we're going to the woods."
"what? what do you mean 'the woods'?" he asks me.
"well, i saw your treehouse you made in the woods at your home. so... i thought we could make something like that? obviously not as designed and complex but, yeah." i say. "or it doesn't need to be a treehouse actually. we could just sleep on the ground."
"i'll see what i can do." he says with a smile.
that dang smile.
we arrived in a deep area of the woods about an hour ago. and about an hour ago, tewkesbury went to go find supplies to sleep on and have near us.
he hasn't come back.
"tewkesbury?" i call out.
no answer.
"tewkesbury where are you? it's getting dark." i shout.
still no answer.
"this absolute dingus." i whisper to myself, as i stand up to begin looking around.
i walk around for quite a while until i see a figure.
"tewkesbury? is that you?" i say, a bit louder then a whisper.
i walk closer until he jumps and shouts in my face, falling on top of me.
i let out the highest pitched scream you've probably ever heard.
he smacks his hand over my mouth with a raised eyebrows.
"what're you doing you're going to get us killed!" he whispers.
"you shouldn't of scared me then." i huff.
this boys still on top of me...
"well you look cute when you're scared." he says with a smirk.
he begins to get up and reaches an arm out for me.
i lightly grab onto his hand and he helps pull me up.
we're both sat in front of the fire he made, as he eats some mushrooms.
i've decided not to eat, i don't have an appetite currently.
"why aren't you eating?" he asks me.
"i just don't have an appetite at the moment." i tell him.
"why not?"
"maybe because i just left my sister, and she was found by our brother and probably at the finishing school right now?!" i snap.
"she told you to leave, did she not?"
this bi-
"yes she did. but now that i think about it." i pause, tears welling up in my eyes.
"why are you crying?" he asks me.
"because i just left my bestfriend, who's also my sister, for you! a boy. a stupid boy." i shout, a few tears now running down my face.
"then why'd you listen to her? and why'd she tell you to go with me?" he asks, really pushing me with this one.
"because she knows something that you don't, for heavens sake, i barely know! she did it because she knows what to do in situations." i tell him.
"what does she know?"
"is that all you do? just ask questions every second of the day? i knew i shouldn't of left enola for a stupid boy like you." i say.
i don't really mean any of this.
but i cant help but say it.
"then why did you leave? huh? why did you come with me?"
"because i fancy you!"
uh oh....
