《Student Council Scenarios ~》Fears

Aoi: It's a little weird for me to be asking this question and to be talking first, but what is everyone's fears?
Kuroko: Everyone is born with two natural fears: the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Every other fear is additional to your life as you grow older.
Megami: So that's why when I go to sleep and end up dreaming about falling I always wake up or flinch?
Kuroko: That is part of it. But "dreaming"?
Megami: Yeah, what about it?
Kuroko: Uh, never mind.
Aoi: Okay, Einstein but did I f*cking ask that?
Akane: Dear, calm down.
Kuroko: Language Aoi.
Aoi: Japanese, Kuroko. So anyway, what is your fear other than falling and loud noises, moron?
Shiromi: I think I already know.
Kuroko: Atychiphobia - the fear of failure.
Shiromi: Yup, I guess it correctly.
Aoi: That seems reasonable, coming from you.
Kuroko: Gee, thanks. Meaning what?
Aoi: You're telling me that a smart-ass person like you wouldn't have a fear of failure?
Akane: Not everyone has to have it, dear.
Kuroko: It doesn't matter if you have higher IQ, it doesn't mean that they earn a fear of failure like a trophy for being smart.
Aoi: What type of trophies have you been getting? Anyway, moving on. Akane, what about you?
Akane: Well, I think I have a fear of blood. I just forgot what it's name was.
Kuroko: It's called "hemophobia".
Akane: Yeah, That. *Giggles*
Kuroko: *Blushes*
Aoi: To be honest, I expected something like that. Megami, yours?
Megami: I-
Shiromi: Why do I get asked last?!
Aoi: Because I want to remember your fear most so that I can try to scare you in the future.
Shiromi: Good look with that.
Megami: Have you got bad memory or something?
Aoi: Hell, I can't even remember what Kuroko's fear was.

Kuroko: Then why did you ask? And you probably weren't listening.
Aoi: Yes actually. I was! I was replying to you, wasn't I?!
Kuroko: I guess.
Aoi: Then shut it!
Shiromi: Daaaaamn.
Akane: Aoi, please calm down.
Megami: Aoi.
Kuroko: You don't make the rules, Aoi. I'm not going to shut up because you told me to.
Aoi: Yeah, I got a f*cking hunch.
Shiromi: Hunchback of Notre Dame! *Giggles*
Akane: You do have bad posture Aoi. *Giggles*
Aoi: Whatever. Anyway, Megami, before you were INTERRUPTED - what is your fear?
Megami: I think I have something called Ataxophobia.
Kuroko: If you have a fear of disorder or untidiness, then you do.
Megami: Yes, that seems about right.
Shiromi: Hell yes it does.
Akane: How do you know EVERY phobia Kuroko?
Kuroko: Well, I don't know EVERY phobia, but a good amount. Also, I was really interested in research of them a while ago.
Akane: You're so smart!
Kuroko: *Blushes*
Aoi: I don't want to see this sh*t.
Kuroko: Says you and Shiromi.
Megami: *Laughs* *Is amused*
Aoi: *Blushes* I do not flirt with Shiromi!
Shiromi: *Giggles*
Aoi: Anyway, off topic! What is yours Shiromi? *Smirks*
Shiromi: I don't want to say...
Aoi: Why not?
Shiromi: I just... Don't want you to make fun of me.
Aoi: I won't, we can say our fears at the same time.
Shiromi: Okay! That's fair.
Aoi: 1...
Shiromi: 2...
Akane: 3!
Shiromi: Thunder and lightning.
Aoi: *Containing her laughter*
Kuroko: Fears arent something to laugh about Aoi. It can make the person insecure.
Shiromi: Hey! You didn't say yours!
Aoi: That's adorable, Shiromi!
Shiromi: *Blushes* How is a fear adorable?
Aoi: The fact that it's yours makes it cute! *Giggles*
Megami: And you're telling me you don't flirt with Shiromi.
Akane: Yeah, Aoi. Shiromi is the one who usually starts first. *Giggles*

Aoi: Whatever. It's just cute. *Giggles*
Shiromi: So is your laugh. *Giggles*
Aoi: *Blushes* I'm never going to laugh again.
Shiromi: *Giggles* So anyway, what is your fear Aoi? Maybe I can laugh at YOU!
Aoi: ...
Shiromi: Well?
Kuroko: Hmm.
Megami: Yeah, you never told us yours.
Aoi: Autophobia.
Akane: *Searches up Autophobia* Wow, Aoi...
Megami: Aoi, I'm sorry.
Shiromi: What is it?! I bet it's something dumb! *Giggles*
Kuroko: It's a fear of being alone, Shiromi.
Aoi: Yeah, but don't focus too much into it. *Giggles*
Shiromi: Aoi, Wow. I'm sorry, I didn't know.
Megami: But Aoi, you're alone most of the time?...
Aoi: Exactly, but I manage. *Laughs nervously* But it only gets worse when I'm actually attached to people I care so much about.
Shiromi: You care about us?
Aoi: N-No! I hate every single one of you!
Kuroko: I thought you hated us all.
Aoi: I-I do!
Akane: Oh...
Kuroko: *Whispers to Akane that Aoi really does care about them*
Akane: Oh! *Laughs*
Kuroko: *Blushes*
Shiromi: Sure, you can "hate" us so much but you love us more. *Giggles*
Aoi: *Blushes* Sh-Shut up.
Shiromi: *Holds Aoi's Hands* Aoi, even if you hated us, we'd still never leave you regardless.
Aoi: *Suprised by Shiromi holding her hands* *Turns red* L-L-Let g-go!
Megami: I am disturbed.
Shiromi: Aww! You're blushing!~
Shiromi: *Winks* *Giggles*
Aoi: I still can't believe you have a fear of thunder and Lightning. *Giggles*
Kuroko: Yet again Aoi, That can make people feel insecure about their fears.
Shiromi: Hey! It's a reasonable thing to fear!
Aoi: Yeah, but I least expected it from you. Anyway, whenever you get scared, I'll always be there to protect you. *Knowing that this will make her blush and wanting revenge from her pointing out that she made Aoi blush*
Akane: Wow, Aoi. Sudden change of personality. *Giggles*
Shiromi: *Blushing*
Aoi: And you can even get hugs! *Giggles*
Shiromi: *Suprised* *Giggles* Shush.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Feel free to submit some drawings if you want (even though I really like this picture) This is another story that I have been thinking about writing and I haven't been able to get some of it out of my head. Trailblazer
The story of a man who accidentally wrote another world into existence. Everyone breaks away from their mundane daily life in one way or another. Our protagonist, an unfortunate consequence of circumstance, being no different, often escaped the harsh reality of life by writing stories of an alternate world of swords and magic. Though he recognized the difference between reality and fantasy, he could've never imagined what would happen, when the line between the two blurred as lightning struck down from the skies, and his escapism fantasy became all too real... After he came to, he would soon learn that things in the other world aren't quite as he remembered them to be. The world he wrote of had become but a shadow of its former self. Albeit hesitant at first, he sets off on a quest to find out the secrets behind the Trails, yet even then, he can't help but wonder... Can he really bring his world back to its old glory? —————————— I have never written a story before in my life and now I'm doing so in a language I don't natively speak. Groundbreaking quality is probably not something to be expected, but I do my best to keep things readable. With the necessities out of the way, both constructive criticism and other suggestions are very much welcome, and I'll do my best to take them into account when writing future chapters.

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
