《Sapnap X Reader》Chapter Six

3rd Person POV
It had been a few weeks since the time where Sapnap and Y/N had their talk, specifically where Sapnap was apologizing to Y/N for what he had done. They had been hanging out and talking almost every day now that things were sorted out and there wasn't anymore tension between the two. It had also become a lot more difficult for Sapnap when it comes to not slipping up about the little crush he has on Y/N. Zak, Dream, George, and BadBoyHalo not helping either.
Speaking of George and Dream, Sapnap decided to introduce Y/N to both of them, they immediately becoming good friends, especially since they were all friends with Sapnap. It wasn't too long before Dream had invited Y/N to the Dream SMP on Minecraft. Y/N gladly accepted the invitation, already knowing a little bit about SMPs due to watching other Youtubers who were famous play on them.
Y/N also participated in the Great Dream SMP War, being on the side Sapnap was on, it being the Dream Team side. It was quite eventful, Y/N never being in a serious Minecraft war before. The wars they usually had were building ones with Skeppy or survival ones with their cousins. Though, Y/N wasn't able to participate much due to work and not wanting to mess up their sleep schedule.
Today was a Saturday afternoon and Y/N was playing Minecraft on their computer while the rain downpoured outside their apartment. As much as they hated the rainy and gloomy weather Washington goes through during Spring season, they loved hearing the sound of the rain in the background as they went on with their day. It had such a calming and comforting effect on Y/N, which is why they're only listening to the rain and not music like they normally do when playing video games.

Currently, Y/N is improving their base on the Dream SMP server, making it bigger and fancier. They planned on making a third floor as a lookout and storage area, making their second floor a bedroom and prized possessions floor. Their first floor was more of a guest/hangout area that their dogs stayed at most of the time. The cats they owned were on the second floor due to the fact that they can't defend theirselves if they were ever attacked and it was fitting for the cats to be on the second floor.
Y/N wasn't the only one currently online on the server. Dream, BadBoyHalo, Fundy, and Tommy were online as well. Though, not long after Bad had gotten online, Sapnap got onto the server too.
'Huh. I wonder if they're about to stream together.' I thought to myself as I look at the tab list of players.
Tommyinnit: OH LOOK WHO FINALLY JOINED
Dream: hi
Dream: join gen 1 sapnap
BadBoyHalo: Hello
Y/U/N: Hai
Sapnap: hey Y/U/N how are you?
BadBoyHalo: Hi Y/U/N
Y/U/N: im good hru?
Sapnap: im good
Dream: lmao
'What is he lmaoing about? We didn't say anything funny..?' I thought while my head was tilted right slightly, being confused by Dream's comment towards Sapnap and mine's small conversation.
Y/U/N: ???
Dream: nothing Y/U/N
I stare at Dream's response for a few seconds before sighing and continuing what I was doing currently. I was almost done making the third floor, about to begin putting down chests at the specific locations on the floor. I wanted to have most of the space for the lookout. Especially since we are kinda currently in the middle of a war.
It took me a while but I had finally finished the third floor fully, now able to get to making the place look fancier. I did so by moving things around and putting down chairs and other types of furniture. Though, as I was doing so, I saw a chest outside of my home in the corner of my eye. I immediately stopped what I was doing and went over to my windows, looking out them to see if I can see anyone near. I then looked through the walls to see if I could spot the nametag of whoever put down the chest. I didn't find anyone, unfortunately.

I went over to my door and opened it, walking towards the chest. I opened it and saw an unsigned book and quill with a poppy right beside it. I grabbed the book and opened it up and read whatever was written inside of it.
"I think you're kinda cute. I hope you like the poppy I gave you <3"
I stare at the written words in the book for an entire minute, trying to process what I just read, while also trying to figure out who would be this brave to do this. Even if it had no name or no sign of whoever did it, I still wanted and tried to figure out who wrote the text in the book and gave me the poppy.
'There's no way Bad would have the guts to do this..' I thought to myself.
'Maybe it was Dream. He seems like the brave type to do this. But then again, he's trying to win over George's love.' I smirk to myself while remembering the past times of when Dream and George were being romantic to eachother.
I switch to my axe and destroy the chest, picking up the poppy that was in the chest along with the book and quill. I then turn around and enter back inside my home and continue decorating all the three floors of my home.
BadBoyHalo: Y/U/N I heard you got a gift :O
Y/U/N: yeah i did
BadBoyHalo: What was the gift? o.O
Y/U/N: Nothing really important. It most likely was just some joke thing.
BadBoyHalo: You sure?
Y/U/N: Yeah im sure
You whisper to Dream: Were you the one who did that?
Dream whispers to you: Did what? Lol
You whisper to Dream: The poppy and book in the chest ._.
Dream whispers to you: Lmao nah that wasnt me
You whisper to Dream: Suuurreee
You whisper to Dream: Then who did it?
Dream whispers to you: idk wasnt me
'Yeah, sure you don't know and it wasn't you.' I sigh, frustrated at Dream's responses.
'He probably knows who it was or it was actually him. Whatever, doesn't really matter anyways. It was just some joke, right? Right??' I thought to myself as I finished up fancying up my home with decor and a better layout.

The two men had come with an invitation, and an offer; which sounded more like a deal with a devil, but was seriously on the up-and-up. Explore a brand new world. Sleep away his chair-bound life while testing the latest in long term virtual reality immersion technology. And maybe, just maybe regain the mobility robbed from him by an accident as a child. It really sounded all too good to be true to Riley, thus the feeling of making a deal with a devil.
