Hello? Is anyone here? Anyone? Hellooo??

""
Y/N jumped in their chair, making it fall over as well as making theirself fall over too.
"" I groan as I slowly get up from the floor, picking up my chair afterwards.
I then look around, fixing my Skeppy hoodie so it was comfortable again. I look at my computer screen, seeing that I'm still somehow in the call that I was in with Bad and Zak. Though, this time I don't see Bad in the call. Instead, I see two familiar profile icons in the call. My camera is still on too, so they can see what I'm doing and how I look. So can I. Geez, I look like a mess.
""
"" I say while looking towards the screen while crossing my arms and looking tired.
"" Zak says, he turning on his camera. Him not being in the frame.
"" I blink a few times before getting closer to the screen and looking at who else is in the call.
'Who is that person? I recognize their profile picture but not their name..'
All of a sudden the person turns on their camera, smiling widely and waving at me.
"" The Snappy Mappy man says.
"" I scold Sapnap, being mad at him for scaring me awake.
"" Sapnap says to me, fixing his messy hair a little.
"" Zak said, sitting down in his chair and putting his headphones back on.
"" I look down towards the floor. Me having a face of defeat on.
'Dang, they're kinda right. Maybe I should've listened and did that.'
Zak smiles proudly, knowing he won this time. Sapnap on the other hand was grinning.
"" Zak said, looking right at the camera and at me.
"will" I say towards Zak, crossing my arms again.

"" Zak said before disconnecting as he was saying bye.
I sigh a little, putting my elbow onto my computer desk and resting my chin in my hand. I look at Sapnap before looking at the group chat history below where our cameras show up.

; YOU SAID YUO WERE GONNS DO IT NIW DO IT
; Alright alright
"" Sapnap said finally after a few minutes of not talking. I wonder what he was doing..
"" I say, looking back up at Sapnap.
"" Sapnap says, leaning back in his chair.
"" I ask Sapnap.
"" Sapnap says, looking at his phone while grinning.
"" I smile before checking my phone by turning it on and looking at the time on the lock screen.
"" I say, looking back up at Sapnap before resting my head on my arms that are now resting on my computer desk.
"you" Sapnap says as he stops leaning back in his chair, grabbing a water bottle from off his computer desk and opening it. He takes a few drinks of water before putting the cap back on and setting the bottle back on his desktop.
"" I say, looking up at Sapnap.
He looks up and at me, laughing quietly to himself before messing with his hair.
"" Sapnap says before disconnecting from the call.
I then disconnect from the call, it ending completely. I then turn my computer monitor off and go over to my bed, flopping over and onto it. After a few minutes of just laying there, I move around and get under the blankets. I then put my head onto my soft, memory foam pillow, the world turning black not much later.

Sweet Minds
"No one can see it, some can feel it, and only the few can use it. We belong to the few." Marith Merryfield felt anything but merry that morning. She found herself waiting for a delayed train on a deserted platform, in the freezing cold of the Dutch autumn. Just when the strangeness is making her consider turning around and going back home an empty train rolls into the station. For reasons unclear to this day she decides to get onboard. An unlikely, and quite impossible, train accident is about to hurtle her into a world she had always suspected existed. It was a dark and absurd place she had rejected and suppressed when she was young. Now she would need that dormant part of herself to survive. After a brief hospitalization she must choose between two continents and finds herself reluctantly boarding a plane to Oregon to be reunited with her shadows. She returns to the town she grew up in, which is where her father still lives and her childhood memories linger. By the end of the week the mysterious train accident turns out to be the least of her problems. Her life was never supposed to become this serious this fast. Through an improbable and unfortunate series of events she is soon introduced to a motley crew of characters that appear to be carrying the same struggles through life. They possess a familiar sense of inadequacy and insecurity. Marith realizes that for the first time in her life she has found herself a tribe, or, as they prefer to call it, a Chain. She is introduced to a world of Prophets, Runners and Mages led by an Oracle and a Watchmaker. Over the course of several weeks Marith learns that, together with her Chain, she is expected to save this fabric of reality, by fighting a mysterious and immortal creature and his aggressive pet. In order to have a chance at overcoming this force of nature she has to revisit the darkest and most desolate corners of her mind. ***** The total word count of the first 12 chapters amounts to about 85.000 words.
