Hey hey hey ! ! ! !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Abby's POV
"Sweetheart." I opened my eyes and saw my mother smiling down at me.
I smiled and rubbed my eyes.
"Are you okay?" I sat up and nodded.
"I'm fine mom. Really." She bent down and rubbed my hair.
"Ah honey. This is one thing I never wanted to happen to you." I gave her a sad smile and she smirked.
"Do you want me to hire someone to kill Abe?" I laughed and shook my head. I know what he did was wrong but even people like him deserve to live. Though I do plan on dancing on his grave one day.
"No mom. That's okay." She sighed and smiled then stood up.
"Are you hungry?"
"Considering I feel like I haven't eatin in weeks... Yes."
"Okay. I'll order some pizza. Your favorite." She tweaked my nose and I smiled. Pizza sounds good.
I haven't left this room in three days. I just don't feel like leaving my bed and all I wanna do lately is sleep. I haven't checked my phone but I know that Aly and Abe have been calling me non stop. He doesn't know I know he cheated on me and to be honest I don't care. He was never right for me anyways.
I sighed and got out of the bed. Might as well start living again.
When I got out of the shower there was a plate of pizza on my bed. I smiled and put it on my desk then made up my bed.
I started eating and heard a knock at my door.
"Hey." I smiled at Greg and he sat on my bed and casually said.
"What's up?" I looked at him confused and said.
"Nothing. What up with you?" He shrugged and said.
"Just... Hangin." I nodded in confusion and said.
"Good." He sat there and started nervously playing with his hand.
"Is... Something wrong?" He looked up at me wide eyed and said.
"Huh? Oh. N-no." I nodded suspiciously and said.
"Right." He nervously smiled at me and stood up.
"Well as much as I'd love to uh... Be in here with you. I have to go."
"Where?"
"Uh... Over Darci's. Later." He walked over to the door and then turned around.
"Are you okay?" I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah. I am." He nodded and walked out of my room.
Maybe if I keep telling people that they'll believe it. And stop asking. Maybe If I keep telling myself that I'll believe it. I don't think about it anymore. I just wanna put it in the past and forget it. I know that this sort of thing is unforgetable but... I hate feeling like this. Like someone just dug my heart out with a knife and left me with nothing. Why would he do this to me? I have never been nothing but good. Why did this happen? Maybe I saw what I wanted to see in him and made him more than what he was.
I just wanted someone to take me to the movies. Someone to hold hands with. I wanted to have someone look at me like I was everything to them and more. I just wanted somebody to love.
I was in the hallway on my way downstaires when the doorbell rung.
"Honey get the door!"
"Okay!" I made my way down staires and opened the door.
"Hey!" I smiled and Joe walked in.
"I didn't know you were still here."
"Yeah. I-I know I was supposed to be gone by now but I didn't have to work so I decided to stay a while longer." I smiled and closed the door. Where does he work? He sure has alot of money that's for sure.
"Mom's in the kitchen. I think." He smiled at me and said.
"Are you okay?" I guess I shouda known that was coming.
"Oh! Yeah! I'm terrific." He nodded and went to the kitchen. I sighed and went outside. I need some air. If some else asks me that I am going to drop dead.
"Abby?" I turned around and saw him standing there with a blank expression. I stood there. Shaken up and a little uncomfortable.
"Yes."
"Can we talk?" I looked at him wide eyed answered.
"Sure." I mean what was I supposed to say? I'm meant to let him explain. Right?
"Look I... I'm sorry about what I said the other day. I guess I kind of... Over reacted." I scoffed and crossed my arm.
"Overreacted would be the understatement of the century."
"Look. I know I was a jerk to you. And I'm sorry. So can we just forget that ever happened."
"Were not getting back together."
"Why? Because I yelled at you?"
"No because you cheated on me." He looked horrified by what I said.
"What?"
"I don't understand how a person can just-" I stopped talking when I saw my brother pull up. Uh-oh. This is not gonna be good.
"You should probably go." He looked at me confused and I looked at Greg wide eyed as he walked up to us.
"What's going on here?" Abe turned around and I laughed nervously.
"You know Greg mom wanted you to run to the store for-" He gave me a look and I shut up completely.
"What do you think your doing here?" He looked Abe dead in the eyes and I sighed. This is not happening.
"I was just coming to say I was sorry."
"Yeah well sorry's not good enough now get away from my sister." I stepped in the middle of them and said.
"Okay! You know what? This is stupid. Abe I think you should go." He looked at me confused and I said.
"Just leave Abe." I looked at him pleadingly and he sighed.
"Fine. I'll go." He walked away and I sighed in relief.
"Why were you talking to him?" I rolled my eyes and started walking in the house.
"Because. Greg."
"Because. Because what? Why are you so naive?" He closed the door and I walked in the living room.
"Come on. Greg. Not now." He sighed and shook his head.
"Whatever Abby." He went to his room and I sat down on the couch.
"What's his problem?" I jumped and smiled.
"I didn't see you there. But he's mad because I talked to Abe." Her eyes got wide and she said.
"You talked to who?" I smiled at her and shook my head. I know me and Ava had our differences but these past days she's been there for me. And I appreciate that. Since Aly... Can't be.
"I talked to him."
"Why?"
"Why does everyone keep asking me that? I couldn't just send him away."
"Uh... Yes you could have. That Abe guy is a jerk. Jerk face. And you shouldn't forgive him."
"Yes I should Ava because he said he was sorry and just because I forgive him doesn't mean I'll take him back." She looked at me confused and then shrugged.
"If you say so."
~*~
I decided to go for a walk today. It was beautiful outside. And I haven't out in a while. I walked past the diner and and thought about getting a frappe... Until I saw who was in the diner then I stopped dead in my tracks. Nick and Megan were in there. And they kissed right in front of me! Why did I have to see that? I looked at them for a while because I couldn't seem to move. That's when Nick looked at me and I quickly looked away and hoped to God he didn't see me.
I held my head down and pretended to look at my shoes. That's when I looked up without holding my head straight up and Nick was gone. What?
I looked around for him and then saw him out of the corner of my eye. I smiled then turned and faced him.
"Hey." He smiled and said.
"Hey. I haven't seen you lately."
"I know. Its just... I've been busy." He nodded.
"So what have you been up too?" I shrugged and looked at Megan who was looking at us carefully.
"I don't know. Just stuff. And please don't ask me if I'm okay because I am." I smiled and he smiled at me back. But it wasn't a normal smile it ws like it had more meaning behind it.
"So... I guess you have to go." I gestured to Megan and he stopped smiling.
"Yeah. Yeah. I- I guess I'll see you then?"
"Uh huh." I nodded and he went back to the door. I watched him and he stopped.
"Abby?"
"Yeah?"
"I hope your really okay. Instaed of just saying it." He smiled at me and then went back inside.
