Abby's POV
The next morning I woke up and got out of bed. I brushed my teeth and quietly went down stairs. I really did wish that Nick would be gone and just never come back but instead I saw him.... He was sleeping on the couch which made me smile. NO! NO! NO! DO NOT SMILE! You love ABE!
I had a SERIOUS internal battle while walking towards the couch. This was not happening! I bent down in front of him and smiled.
Why couldn't he love me before? Why now? Why when I had already given my heart to someone else? I sighed... Out loud. Which caused him to turn around in his sleep. I was SO scared. I did not want to face him ESPECIALLY not after last night! Why'd he have to go and ruin things?
My eyes widened as he sat up with his eyes half shut. What do I do?
He rubbed his eyes and I... FROZE!
"Abby? What are you doing down there?" I looked up at him slowly as my eyes were still fixated on the spot the he vacated. And answered.
"N-nothing. I... I dropped something." I forced a smile on my face and sat up.
"So... I um..." I trailed off slowly. I didn't want to bring up what happened last night and I knew it would come up sooner or later. But just... Not... Now. He opened his mouth to say something but I interrupted him.
"You want some breakfast?" He ran his fingers through his hair and said.
"Sure." I placed my hands in my pockects and said.
"I guess you can shower up while I cook." He nodded and I headed to the kitchen. Sucess!
While I was frying the pancakes. I heard the front door open. I rolled my eyes as I already knew who it was.
He walked into the kitchen and sat at the bar stool.
I placed a pancake on the plate and said.
"So... Where have you been all my life?" He didn't say anything, he just looked at me bemused which caused me to turn around.
"Is something wrong?" After a long pause of what i'm guessing is him thinking or what not. He says.
"Is Nick here?"
"Yeah... He's in the shower. Why?"
"No reason... Just wandering."
"You want some pancakes?"
"Yeah i'll take some."
I finished a cooking and fixed us a plate. I sat the third plate on the table when Nick walked into the kitchen.
"Wow! You are right on time." He sat down at the table and smiled. But I could tale it was forced. I looked at him for a moment before sitting down myself.
"Hey... What happened to you last night?" I looke up at Greg who was starring at Nick who then answered.
"I uh... I got tired so I crashed here last night." Greg didn't say anything he just nodded then looked over at me. I quickly turned back to my food. He was acting super weird this morning! What is with him?
I took a fork full of food and felt Gregs' eyes on mr=e which made it hard to eat. Seriously? Weird!
I sat and waited for him to stop but he didn't so I picked my plate up and walked over to the sink.
"Well i'm suddenly not hungry any more." Greg turned around in his chair to look at me.

"You didn't eat anything."
"Yeah... I was never really hungry." The door bell rang and relief ran through my body. Saved by the bell.
"I-I'll get it." I walked up to the front door and opened it.
"Abby!" Cassie through her hands around me and said.
"How are you?" I smiled and shook my head pulling back from the hug.
"Um... Okay?" She walked in and I shut the front door.
"You know I saw you last night right?" She laughed and said.
"I know but I missed you since last night! Where's Greg?" I started to walk into the kitchen and she followed behind me.
I stood at the table and placed my hands on the chair.
"There he is!" She ran up to him and hugged him. Man someone must have spiked her drink.
I shook my head and took the now empty plates from the table.
Cassie sat on Gregs lap and said.
"So! What do you guys wanna do today?" I absentmindedly looked up at the ceiling and Greg said.
"Uh... It doesn't really matter. Whatever you want." With that she looked at me and said.
"I think Abby should pick." I looked back down at them and said.
"Um... When are we talkin' about?"
"Well I don't know... Say... Now?" Well I know I couldn't forget about me and Abe's date tonight or he'd kill me. So I thought i'd suggest the typical thing. I shrugged and answered.
"We could go to the mall?" The guys were quick to protest but after some convincing Cassie finally got them to go.
"Okay well... Lemme go up staires and get changed."
I ran up staires and put on a shirt that resembled paper and said 'I Heart U' with three little monsters on it, I put on some light colored shorts and some leather ankle boot with a one inch heel. I headed down staired and saw everyone sitting in the living room.
"You guys ready?" They all nodded and started to get up when the door bell rang. I rolled my eyes and muttered under my breath. 'OMG'
"I'll get it." I walked to the front door and opened it.
She started to walk in and my eyes widened.
"Aren't you gonna invite me in?"
"What are you doing here? Can't you come back later." She looked at me rolled her eyes before saying.
"Um... NO! I came here because I need to talk to you!" I bit my lip and stepped aside so that she could come in.
We walked the living room and Aly said.
"Abby! Why didn't you tell me you were having a party?" I gave her 'the look' and she stopped smiling. But then started back smiling when she saw my brother.
"Hey Greg!" Did I mention she had a crush on him?
"Hey Alison." I grabbed her arm and started pulling her towards the door.
"Well now we've all said our heys... You can go."
"Wait! No! I need to talk to you about something!"
"Can you please wait til later? I'm going somewhere now!" She stopped fighting and pouted.
"Fine! But i'll be back." With that sh ewalked out the front door and we did the same.
~*~
We pulled up at the mall and I stepped out of the car.
"There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to be here!" I shook my head and Cassie planted a kiss on his lips.

"It'll be fine! Don't worry we'll be out before you know it."
We walked inside and I suggested that we go get some ice-cream. Since I was starving and didn't eat my breakfast. They agreed and we went to 'Friendly's' An Ice-Cream shop in the mall.
We sat at a table and I started to eat my ice-cream. When Cassie gasped and started smiling.
"I know what we can do tonight! We can go to a kegger!" I started shaking my head and she started nodding.
"And YES Abby you are going." I started to open my mouth to say something when hands covered my eyes.
"Guess who!"
"Um..." I turned around and smiled.
"Abe! What are you doing here?" I seem to be asking that quistin ALOT lately. He gave me a peck on the lips and said.
"I could ask you the same thing."
I turned around and saw Greg AND Nick gawking at him. Now was that nessasary? He sat in the empty seat next to me and said.
"Hey everyone!" Cassie smiled and said hey. While the guys didn't say anything!
"So..." O-kay! This is wierd... Man am I glad I didn't invite him to Eros' that day.
I cleared my troat and said.
"So Cassie... About tonight... I-" She gasped and cut me off.
"Abby! Don't tell me you don't wanna go!" I shook my head and said.
"It's not that I don't wanna go... It's just... I already made plans." She looked dissapointed and I felt kind of bad. Cassie and I were really close, she treated me like a little sister. If Aly wasn't around I think I would have spent every moment with Cassie.
"You know... We don't have to go to the movies tonight I mean you can go out your friends i'm sure i'll something to do." I looked at Abe and smiled. Until I heard Greg mumble 'more like someone to do' I think everyone heard him because Nick started choking and Cassie's mouth dropped.
I sprung up out of my chair and grabbed Greg by his ear. I waited until we were out of hearing range then yelled.
"GREG! Why would you say something like that?" He didn't say anything he just looked at the floor.
"You know JUST because you don't like him doesn't give you the right to treat him like crap!"
"Him? Treat HIM like crap! Abby I-" I put my hand up and said.
"I don't wanna hear it! Can't you just say your sorry and we'll forget about it." He clenched his jaw and said.
"He doesn't deserve an apology." I just shook my head, threw both my hands up and said.
"UN. BELIEVABLE!" I walked back to the table and instead of sitting down I picked my sundea up and threw it in the trash. I smiled at Cassie and said.
"I guess i'll see you later then huh?"
"Wait... Your leaving?"
"Yeah I really have to go... But I will go to the kegger."
"Well... Okay... Um... Have fun doing whatever." I gave her a small hug and turned to Abe.
"You wanna go?" He shrugged and said.
"Sure." With that I gave Nick a small smile and left.
Seriously! What was with him. He has been acting weird all day! First spacing out, and staring at me, now this? I really hate his mood swings.
We were driving in the car and there was nothing on the radio so I plugged in my iPod and put it on shuffle.
'Waiting For The End' by Linkin Park came on and I started to sing along.
Abe started to laugh and I turned and facced him.
"What?" He shook his head and answered.
"Nothing. You want to go home?"
"No... I don't wanna go home."
"So where do you wanna go?" I shrugged and looked out the window.
"Anywhere is fine."
~*~
Abe dropped me at my house later in the day which only left me like two hours to get ready for the kegger.
I had hoped Greg was here so I could ask him what his deal was but he wasn't. Nobody was. I sighed and went to room.
I got dressed on my own this time and hoped that i'd do as well as Alison did the night of the party.
After going through what seemed like everything in my closet I gave up and settled on a all black shirt that had skeleton hands grabbing my boobies. A ruffled white and black skirt some ripped leggings and black boots the stopped just a few inches above my ankle. (Gotta love Hot Topic) I did my makeup and headed down staires.
I called Greg on his phone and he said he would swing by and pick me up. Wow! He's gonna 'swing by' I really can't wait for that.
Greg FINALLY came and I hopped in the back seat of his Silver Scion.
"What took you so long?" He looked back at me and was about to say something until he saw my shirt.
"Your wearing that?"
"Yes!" I know he was about to make me change but considering how mad I am at him he just turned around and started the car.
"Whatever."
~*~
We reached the way to crouded kegger in twenty minutes without saying a word.
I got out of the car and stormed away from him. I love him but he can be such an ass sometimes.
I looked back for a split second and bumped into someone. I fell flat on my bottom and he helped me up. I smiled and said.
"Sorry. I am such a klutz." He was really cute. He had short blonde hair and really blue eyes. That were just over the top gorgeous! But no I do not like him.
"It's okay really not entirely your fault." I backed away in the most unoffencive way possible as his hands were still on the small of my back from helping me up.
"Hey um you know I was heading over there to get a drink... You want one?" I looked around and thought it over before answering.
"S-sure." We walked over to where the drinks were and he handed me one. He started to drink his and I just stared down at mine. He looked at me and said.
"You don't drink?" I looked up at him and said.
"Well... No... It's not that I don't its just that I never." He looked at me for a minute before a look of understanding washed over his face.
He nodded and said.
"You know you should try it." I shook my head a little and said.
"I don't know." He sat his drink down and walked over to me.
"Look i'll make you a deal... You drink that and i'll give you thirty bucks." I laughed at how stupid that was but agreed anyways. I downed it all in a matter of seconds and started to feel light headed. Maybe I shouldn't have drunk it so fast. Oh well.
"See! Wasn't so bad." I smiled and shook my head.
"No it wasn't! Can I have somemore?"

Man of Earth
Magic is a terrifying force. Logic itself is subject to this energy, which is (logically speaking) impossible for us to comprehend. Every universe requires some version of magic to exist. That is, all but one. Our world functiouns based on a powerful and intricate net of laws that act independently from magical interference. The most notable of these is the human brain, which is capable of even more than its creator had thought possible. Naturally, this prompted the question: "How would a human fare in a world of magic?" Soon, there was a bet. Next, a human was selected. Finally, an odd young man with a strange black hat was introduced to his new world, and all restraints were removed.

Magic Squared
A world filled with magic, quite generic in outward appearance has one underlying mechanic that makes it oh so very powerful for one man, or now thing. Christopher Collins (Chris) is reincarnated into a fantasy world to regain memories of his former 19 years of life and discovers that the magic of his new world is closer to science than many realize. Follow Chris as he falls into an unfortunate series of events to become something more...or perhaps less. This will be a story of magic, blood and physics. On advisement I have changed the synopsis, originally I tried to be vague and hide the plot twist/ change so here is a disclaimer. The first 10 chapters are the buildup to the real story. I will re-write them at some point but for now, they provide a small glimpse into the story and allow for a fats bit of character progression. ⚠️ may have unexpected plot twists, the MC changes quite a bit in the first 10 chapters ⚠️ The Basics: Spoiler Magic: Yes Smartphones: No Martial Arts: Some Monsters: Yes Adventure: Yes Basic Physics: Yes Dialog Boxes: No Updates: Currently about 4 chapters a week now that I'm off my exams. Author : This is my first attempt at a fiction on RR and hope you can be lenient with me about grammar and spellings. Please point them out and i'll try to fix them ASAP for your smooth reading pleasure. Content: The MC will be powerful but not broken, he will win with intelligence and a deep understanding of how magic and physics works, this means his magic is powerful but not broken. I do not plan for Harems, or overly vertuouse MC. I will try to keep his personality as realistic as possible. NO “i will feed the world by growing potatoes shit” Notes: (I do not own the art for the cover of this novel)
