Quick disclaimer: this story is made out of a dream I had. In this dream, Tae was able to hear normally under water and was somehow able to be under water for a very long period of time but was still holding his breath. Please have this in your mind while reading the following chapters.

Taehyung quickly hid behind a reef before peaking out, listening closely to what Jungkook was going to say. The blonde's human side seemed to have disappeared completely now that he didn't have to hide anything from the tourists. All of them were transformed or dead now.

Jungkook's eyes were entirely black now, with slit like pupils the raven could see even from his point of view hidden behind a reef. The tentacles he now possessed were long and thick, dripping from power and dominance and taking Taehyung's breath. He really looked scary, incredibly threatening and Taehyung was fearing for his life.

After all, he has tried to kill Jungkook. Well, push him into the water. Which now turned out to be an incredibly dumb idea since Jungkook was controlling the sharks. Taehyung now really feared for his life. But then he heard how Jungkook spoke up and his next words drove Taehyung absolutely insane from how scared he became.

"I'm so sorry for the betrayal of my loyal friends", Jungkook started with an apologetic smile. He was still acting, still playing his deadly game when the tourists have already fallen into his trap and were now his mindless slaves.

"But we're here as a team and we're going to come home either way, you just have to trust me", he continued, observing the surrounding group of silent creatures, half human and half shark. His lips then stretched into a creepy smile filled to the brim with sharp shark teeth, exposing the spiky tips.

"Are you trusting me? Then get me my Baby back unharmed and we can finally leave these waters to get back home safely."

Taehyung gasped, bubbled escaping his mouth and he swam backwards, his arms and legs paddling panicked in the water surrounding him. His lungs suddenly felt as if they were bursting, and he quickly swam back up to the surface, trying to get away from the group as fast as possible. But he forgot that moving away from the reef revealed his hiding position and that the group was now able to see him.

His head shot through the surface and he took a greedy breath of air, trying to calm his body down. "Dolphins! Dolphins!", he yelled out frantically and waved his hands when he saw the distant figures of the dolphins who soon got closer. He felt hope rising in his chest.

While under water, the passengers got completely under Jungkook's spell and try finding Taehyung who was on the surface and incredibly relieved to see his friends coming to his rescue. But a scream left his lips when he felt claws on his legs, then slippery hands engulfing his calves and pulling him back down under water.

He screamed for help but it was too late already, he tried to flee with the dolphins who have arrived by his side but the sharks immediately attacked the friendly sea inhabitants who released loud clicking sounds and tried escaping their sharp teeth. Taehyung on the other side was captured in the hold of two men with shark tails, their faces empty and their eyes dull while they grabbed his arms.

There was an octopus coming up to him, wrapping its tentacles around his thin waist as well so he would struggle. But Taehyung kicked his legs, the water slowing down his movements and bubbles left his mouth when he screamed inaudible, getting dragged down to the ground. His struggles were tried to be stopped, squirming in their clawing grip around him.

The raven looked up to the bright blue water of the surface where the dolphins tried getting to him but were stopped again by the sharks. So they just had to watch how Taehyung was pulled down into the depths of the sea, legs hitting the water panicked because he couldn't get out of the tight grip while he was pulled more and more towards the ground.

The water grew colder and much darker until he was surrounded by dark blue. His eyes caught sight of multiple ship wrecks on the ground and Taehyung gasped lowly. All of these ships were here! Right in front of the coast of the island, all these sunken ships, it were so many of them and all of their passengers must be either dead, eaten by the sharks or turned into sharks themselves.

Taehyung came to the conclusion that all of these sharks must've been tourists before, lured into Jungkook's trap and transformed into his mindless slaves so he could control them even better. And the ones who were against him, like the passengers who have stood on his side the last moments of their life, were killed, eaten by the loyal sharks.

So Taehyung was at some kind of fault for their death and it struck him so hard he felt absolute horror rising in his chest. He completely stopped struggling after this realization. Just like Jungkook has told him that it was basically his fault that his friend died, Taehyung has also participated in their death.

Jimin, Yoongi... all of them must be dead by now... and it was Taehyung's fault.
