Every morning, the sun seems a bit brighter

Everyday the skies, a bit more blue

I always knew the nature was a fighter

But never expected to see any proof

The trees greet me as I look out

With a cheerful wave of their branches

I wonder what they're smiling about

With the human race battling it's chances

It's distressing yet somewhat calm

Disturbing yet somehow peaceful

Having the whole world at our palm

We are, yet so needful

We needed the Earth for everything

Yet we didn't care for it's cries

All those souls we made extinct

We had to someday pay the price

So the nature decided to fight back

To get itself the rest it deserved

But since it doesn't know to attack

It gave us the same rest in return
