A Soulmate is the person that you are destined to spend the rest of your life with. You'll feel this un-explainable bond with this person. You can feel their physical and emotional pain and you'll feel like you've known your soulmate for your entire life. They can be male or female, gender doesn't matter. You meet your soulmate in between the ages of 21 through 27, but it is very possible to meet them a little before and a little afterwards. You'll know when you're nearing your soulmate when all of a sudden, you feel a second heartbeat. The bond forms when you make eye contact. If you're a hybrid, any form of scent-hider diminishes for your possible hybrid mate to smell.

What is a Hybrid?

A Hybrid is a half human half animal. They can change into their animal form once they come of age, which is in between 4 and 7, but they are born in their human forms with ears and a tail, or whatever their animal form has. For example, a snake hybrid would have normal human features, but would have two sharp fangs and a flickery tounge. All hybrids can hide their ears and tail at will. They can also hide their scents, but once they meet their soulmate, their hidden scent is revealed. Hybrids are not excepted by the community so many are in hiding. They're not allowed to have any big important jobs, so many stay in hiding from the world. Some find ways to break the rules, however. They keep their ears and tails hidden and do those forbidden jobs, which include acting and singing. Many times, famous uncovered hybrids are chased out of their positions. Uncovered hybrids are allowed to roam the streets and can have homes, but humans are allowed to do as they wish to them. They can refuse to give them homes and jobs, even if the hybrid is a hard worker. The police are not much help. Hybrids start their heat cycle three months after they meet their soulmate. This gives them enough time to get to know their mate.
