We walk inside and my mom is confused, "Billie is everything okay?"

"N-No mom, it isn't. Logan came back." I start to tear up as I sit on the couch after handing her the phone.

She looks at stokeley, and then back at me, "I'm sorry Billie"

"It isn't your fault" I say and look back at her.

"Are you gonna be okay if I go out for a little bit?" she asks, "I won't if you don't feel safe."

"I’ll be okay mom." I tell her and she walks out the door maybe 5 minutes later.

Stokeley stands up to leave, "C-Can you stay?" I look up at him.

He looks down at me and sits back down, "Of course I will" he smiles and sees me about to cry.

"Billie, do you wanna talk?" he asks looking at me.

I go in for a hug and start crying into his chest, "I just don't feel safe Stokeley."

I places his hand on my head, running his fingers through my hair, "I'm right here and if he comes back I will protect you Bil."

I lift my head up and wipe off my eyes, "Why did you protect me like that Stokeley? You could've gotten hurt"

He looks at me, "I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you. You're my bestfriend Bil, I don't care if I get hurt if it means I protect you from getting hurt."

I lay my head back down on his chest, "Thank you."

He looks at the wall, "Why was he even here?"

"He wanted me back, he tried to trick me, he k-kissed me Stokeley.." I say.

"Hey well, you're safe with me Bil, I'm serious, if he starts bothering you again, tell me, I'll take care of it." he protectively says.

When Stokeley protected me, something in my brain clicked and it felt like I was getting closer to him.
