《Mine (LenxMiku/Lenku/MikuxLen)》20

I burst into the gym, only to find pubescent boys staring at me.
Perverts.
They always do this.
I can see Len give them dirty looks. I smirk. Len's got a bad side.
"Alright, everyone, partner up!" I'm pretty popular around school, which I hate.
I hate it so much. To be crowded with people that treats everyone else like a jerk, but when it comes to me, I'm some sort of queen.
I don't want to be a queen.
I sigh and awkwardly shuffle into a corner before people start coming towards me.
I can see Len looking around the room, as he is left alone without a partner.
"Where's Hatsune?" I hear someone ask.
I hide my face, though it does no good. How could it? My hair is a huge giveaway.
I feel someone tugging on my arm.
"What do you want, you-"
"She's with me." It was Len. He chuckled at me and grinned.
"You need help, right?"
"Right! Can you let go of me now..." I say, pointing at his arm.
"A-Ah! Sorry.." He mutters bashfully. We stay in an awkward silence, standing with our knees locked, side by side.
I heard the gym coach yell,
"Volleyball! PARTNER UP!" Making the veins on her neck stick out.
She begins to toss volleyballs to pairs, including ours.
"Get your net or get out," She says loudly, calming down a bit.
I was silently mocking her and picked up the volleyball.
Walking towards the nets, Len stops me.
"Please, let me," He smiles and picks up the net.
He was trying man, he was really trying. But... he couldn't seem to get the net quite right. Puffing his cheeks in embarrassment, he apologizes.
I just snort and toss him the volleyball, setting it up myself.

"Ready?" I ask as I stand behind the net, and he nods confidently. I jump up, spiking the ball.
It hits his forehead, making him stumble and fall.
My eyes pop out of my brain.
I.. feel genuinely BAD for this moron...
What's that feeling in my chest? It feels like... guilt?
"H-Hey! Are you okay...?" I ask, my lip quivering.
He groans, sitting up. Cracking his back, he rubs his head.
"Who are you?"
I gasp, rushing over to his side.
"I'm Miku! Miku Hatsune! Your best friend! Please don't forget me..!" I actually begin to tear up.
I was deathly afraid to lose him.
He smiles warmly and hugs me, pulling me to the ground.
"'Just kidding,'" He says.
I gasp and look up at him angrily.
"Are you mocking me? My jokes are hilarious!" I huff, folding my arms. He rests his chin on my head, and I feel his grin.
"Stop taking advantage of my height! Ugh! Moron!"
I pout, and hear the coach yelling.
"HEY! WE HAVE NO TIME FOR LOVEBIRDS!"
Len stops moving.
"H-Hey! It's not like that-" I interrupt him immediately.
"YEAH!" I yell.
Yeah..
I decide to ditch school so I can plan. My mother doesn't mind.
I don't mind either.
Soon, I'll be a princess with a castle. Mother will take care of me and love me.
I'll be able to make Miku bow down to me.
I'll make them all bow down.
I just need more intel on Rin's birthday month surprise plan.
Okay, yes. I eavesdropped. I'll admit it.
I need to make sure Mikuo falls for me.
My father, Kenji Hachune (well, that's what my mother tells me his name is) and Ivory Allens are still locked up in that closet.

Every day, I'm supposed to feed them.
And that's what I do.
I grab a loaf of bread and pour some milk into two shiny glass cups.
Satisfied with the 'meal' I put it all on a tray, slipping open the old, dusty closet door.
"Lunch time!~"
It was 2:30 PM.
Ivory looks dead into my eyes and whispers, "I'll get out of here someday with Kenji. I'll warn the Hatsune twins, and god help me I'll wreck you all."
Kenji stayed silent, a dull, distant look in his normally sparkling green eyes.
"Well? Aren't you going to say something to your princess?" I mutter, kicking the tray in the closet.
Nothing.
Kenji Hachune is a mystery.
"That's not my last name."
What?
"Then what is it?!"
Even more silence.
Another one of mother's lies.
It doesn't matter anymore.
I scoff, and walk away. I don't want to believe my mother is the monster everyone says she is.
But I'm gonna have to. I always do.
