Ring! Ring! Ring!

The alarm makes the wake up sound. I hesitate to wake up, but I'm not feeling sleepy more. Why? I opened my eyes and see the alarm clock. The time was 7:20 in the morning. Probably early, but still fine for me. I sit up on my bed and turn myself to Gary. He was sleeping and man! His snores are hell!

I went to the bathroom to freshen up and then sat on the couch, just wandering what to do now. Finally, I decided to take a walk out in the streets. I tie up my shoes and then went out of my hotel. I just jog around the park and then went in the local streets. These are the streets where my whole childhood went. I just got my nostalgic moments now.

After a while I went back to my hotel. On entering the lobby, my eyes fall onto a girl with honey blonde hair and pink dress approaching to the lift. Why does she seem familiar? While she was approaching the lift, her handbag fell down and the things got scattered. The girl bends down to grab the things.

OK Ash, be gentleman now.

I went straight to the lady and kneeled down and picked up the fallen things. I picked up almost everything and then put them inside the handbag and handed over the bag to the girl.

"Thank you!" She said

"Your welco-"I was about to finish when the girl expression changed from happiness to shock. Without hesitation, she pushed me into a tight hug. Why will she do that? Wait, the honey blonde hair, the blue cerulean eyes. It's really Serena.

"Serena?" I ask gently.

"Yes Ash, it me." She replied. I just couldn't believe she is standing right in front of me. And damn me! I just can't recognize her. Great Ash.

After a few seconds, we broke our tight hug and faced each other. Our eyes were in front of each other. The blue cerulean eyes, I just missed them. Suddenly a loud scream came from the end of the lobby.

"SERENA!!!"

We both just turn ourselves and saw Dawn standing there with a huge smile. Well, Dawn and Serena were best friends. So this would be expected from the 'explosive' girl. Dawn just ran towards us and made a very tight hug with Serena.

"Oh Serena! I just missed you girl." Dawn said.

"I missed you too Dawn. It's about 10 years ago when we got separated." Serena replied.

"OK, so if your meeting is done now, can I also join." I ask.

"Aw Ash, you're always welcome for me. We are best friends." Serena replied.

"So Serena, how's life going?" Dawn asks.

"It's good. I am now a wildlife photographer." Serena replies.

"Really? You're a photographer? That's awesome." I said.

"Yeah, I just came from India. Man, the country is damn good!" Serena replies.

"India? Hmm... added to my travel book." Dawn said. We three then went to my room, where Gary was still sleeping.

"GARY!!!!!!" Dawn screamed. Gary just got up from his bed, with a total shock on his face.

"WHAT THE... Serena?" Gary half screamed.

"Hi there, Gary." Serena replied calmly.

"When did you come?" Gary asked.

"Well, I came here now only." Serna replied. Suddenly a voice came from behind.

"Is that the one who I think?"

We turned around and saw Clemont and Calem standing on the door with happy faces.

"Clemont, Calem! Long time!" Serena said happily.

Clemont and Calem approached her and hugged her. Clemont did a small hug but, Calem did a big and long hug. Why is he doing that? Why this hug between Serena and Calem seems to me an incoming danger? Suddenly, a hand waved in front of me. I broke off from my thoughts and saw that the hand was of Dawn.

"What happened to you?" Dawn asks me.

"Um, nothing." I replied, to which she made a smirk. Why is the smirk?

"Um Gary, why are you in your sleeping attire?" Clemont asks.

"Why I can't? What's the time?" Gary asks.

"Well, it's 11:30." Calem replied.

"11- OH SHIT!!!!!!!" Gary screamed.

"What happened?" I ask

"Grandpa called me in the morning 7 for the preparations!" He replied. Professor Oak thought he would wake up before 9? I doubt him.

"I need to go now. Bye!" Gary said and just ran off out of the room.

"Wait! Oh man, he didn't even brush?" I said and sighed.

"And he didn't even wore his underwear." Calem replied, to which we all were shocked. We all then together turned to him with wide eyes.

"What?" Calem replied with a confused face, to which we all sighed in defeat. Wait, Serena is here, so I can tell her my feelings. I approached her.

"Hey Serena, I want to tell you something?" I ask.

"Yeah sure." She replied.

"Um, it's actually that I-"I was unable to speak when Dawn came in between.

"Hey Serena! We are going out. Come with us!" She half shouted.

"Yeah, coming! So what were you saying Ash?" Serena replied.

"Um... never mind. Let's go." I replied. Well it's not the perfect time to say it.

"Yeah fine, let's go." She replied and we went out of my room.
