"Hey? Lisa? Hello??"

Snapping back to reality, Lisa realized she had been spacing out and quickly shook her head. She found Donghyuk's flustered face waving his hand in front of her.

"You okay?" he asked with concern.

Lisa quickly nodded, "Ye-yeah. I am okay. Sorry."

"If you feel nervous about tonight, don't be. We will kill tonight's performance and I know it." Donghyuk tapped on Lisa's shoulder to reassure her as he smiled widely.

Lisa nodded weakly. She wasn't thinking about tonight's performance at all. She had been thinking about what happened yesterday at the school hallway. She and Jennie kissed. Like, they were kissing for real. Their lips met each other. Lisa couldn't forget how tender the senior's lips were, how it felt surreal and how she had a similar kind of dream last night. Her heart started to beat loudly remembering the heat and the tension between them during the kiss. But she was afraid what would happen next when they met. Jennie didn't utter a single word after she broke the kiss. She just signaled the taller girl to follow her after that. There was no further explanation.

Lisa didn't really focus on her last practice with Donghyuk and Donghyuk seemed to notice. He presumed Lisa was only nervous about their performance tonight so he had been reassuring her everything's going to be fine and their performance would be successful. Donghyuk saw Seulgi not far from where they were standing, so he quickly approached the senior. They seemed to talk about the performance tonight.

"Well, I am fine with that. Have you asked her though?" Seulgi asked.

Donghyuk just smiled, "I think she's okay with it. We went through that yesterday briefly."

Seulgi narrowed her eyes, "Hmm... what's with you two?" she began to tease the blonde-headed guy. Donghyuk just chuckled,

"If that's what you're thinking, then the answer is not yet," he scratched his nape, "...I'm doing my best though." he grinned.

Seulgi laughed, "Good luck!"

Donghyuk nodded and went back to where Lisa was.

"What are you two talking about?" she asked.

Donghyuk shrugged, "The choreography for tonight. It's all good. Let's do our best!"

After one more practice session, Donghyuk took Lisa to have lunch at school cafetaria. They walked side by side at times talking about random things. They were in the halfway from cafetaria, until they saw Jennie marched her way towards them. Lisa swallowed hard and her heart skipped a beat. She automatically locked her eyes on the senior lips that looked glossy due to the lip balm. It reminded her of the kiss they shared.

"Good timing. I was about to take you to lunch." Jennie said while looking at Lisa. She ignored the presence of Donghyuk.

Donghyuk scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "Lisa and I will be having lunch together."

Jennie turned her head to Donghyuk and answered him coldly, "I am talking to Lisa not you." she then looked back at Lisa who was fidgeting as she felt an awkward tension between the two.

"Come on," Jennie took Lisa by her wrist and quickly stopped by Donghyuk.

"I don't know what your problem is, but this time I won't let you take her again." Donghyuk said that in such a deep voice while glaring at the older girl. Jennie responded with more deadly glare as if there was this laser coming out from her cat-eyes.

"Take your hand off me or I will." she didn't flinch a bit and wouldn't back out.

Donghyuk growled and slowly took a step forward.

Lisa who didn't like the tension between the two knew she had to say something eventhough she had no idea what was happening in front of her right now.

"S-sunbae," Jennie turned her head from Donghyuk to face Lisa. "I-I think I will have lunch with Donghyuk? Would that be okay?"

Jennie's eyes slowly showed disappointment as her grip on the taller girl had loosened. Lisa felt a bit sad when the warmth of Jennie's hand was not on her hand anymore.

Without any further conversation, Donghyuk quickly took Lisa away and left Jennie there.

The show had started. Lisa and Donghyuk were watching the other clubs performing at the back and the other students were watching while sitting on the chairs that had been set up before.

Lisa clapped her hands along with the other students as now Rosie was about to perform solo. She had her guitar with her and she wore this beautiful long yellow dress and she looked elegant. Lisa felt proud of her friend.

Rosie sang from the bottom of her heart while glancing over the certain audience. Lisa felt her heart heavier when she found out the one Rosie had been looking at was Jennie. Jennie, on the other hand, was smiling throughout the song.

Rosie smiled throughout the song like she was kind of serenading Jennie. The whole scene hurt Lisa more and she was in the verge of crying.

She had been thinking about the kiss she shared with Jennie but she totally forgot that Rosie confessed to her that she liked Jennie. While Jennie never said anything about the kiss, it made her confused. What was the meaning of the kiss then? Was it only playful things that Jennie casually did or it meant something else? She felt like an idiot hoping for something more.

Finally it was now dance club's turn. Both Lisa and Donghyuk wore white as the their themed costumes. They started moving as the music was playing. Lisa and Donghyuk followed the rhythm perfectly, the slow pace they had been hitting apparently had held the audience's breath. There was a time where Lisa facing to the audience and Donghyuk danced behind her. Lisa's eyes met briefly with Jennie's. Jennie's eyes didn't show any expression as she kept watching the two dancing as if the world was theirs, but Lisa didn't want it to bother and interrupt her. She wanted this dance to be over soon so she could just go home.

The last part was approaching and Donghyuk pulled Lisa closer to face him just like what they did yesterday. The audience was gasping with the sudden intimate the two showed on the stage but it was somehow pleasing to watch. Donghyuk put her hand around Lisa's slim waist and their faces were only an inch away. This time, Lisa looked straightly at Donghyuk's eyes. She didn't feel shy a bit as she smiled at the taller guy. Donghyuk smiled back and couldn't resist the beautiful eyes that were staring at his right now. The music stopped playing and it was time for them to bow to the audience before going back to the back stage but unexpectedly, Donghyuk put his finger under Lisa's chin.

Lisa's eyes went widen as she felt something warm pressed against her lips. It was Donghyuk's.

He kissed her on the lips.
