Riley's PoV:

I had the nerve to kiss him. My mind is still wrapped around what happened in Stokes' kitchen. Everything is new to me. The urge to be always close to him. It is overwhelming for me. I have to get my head sorted.

"Yeah right. You can't" My inner voice rose to the occasion.

"And why's that?" I asked knowing exactly what the reply was going to be.

"Hmm. Let me think. You like him, girl" my inner voice said

"Uh. There's nothing to hide anymore. Yes, I like him." I said

"Finally, took you long enough." My inner said. I can imagine her rolling her eyes. Technically, I rolled my eyes at myself. What?!

"Well, what are you going to do about it?" My inner voice asked me.

"Well, I don't know." I said

"Talk to Drew, ya idiot" My inner voice said.

"Gee. Thanks!" I said sarcastically

I debated whether to text him or not. And then I decided not to so it doesn't make it more awkward than already it is.

It's early Saturday morning. Why I am up at 5 AM on Saturday you may ask. That is cause we have to start our drive very early cause it is a three hour drive.

"Alexander Tristan!If you are late, I am not going to take the blame!" I shouted and sprint down the stairs.

To my surprise, Alex was up and had made coffee for both of us

"Good morning to you, my brother" I said.

"I heard what you said" Alex said

"Yes, I said I am a wise girl" I said taking a sip of my coffee.

"Yeah right. Lying is a sin kid" Alex said

"Whatever, once in a blue moon, you are up early." I said rolling my eyes.

"Believe it, Dumbo" Alex said rufling my hair

"Stop. Making. My. Hair. Messy" I said enunciating every word.

"Oh. I am scared" He said and ruffles my hair again.

"That's it!" I said and started chasing him around the living room.

"Damn the long legs!" I said panting.

"Come on, let's get going!" Alex said laughing

We were now on the road

I turned on the radio. "Story of my life" by one direction played.

"Ahem. Someone is a low key directioner" I said grinning cause I can tease him about it

"No word about this to anyone, alright?" Alex told me dead seriously.

"Let me think about it" I said rejoicing in ideas to tease him about it

"Whatever!" He replied and waved me off.

For the next three hours, I thought I would be sleeping for the rest of the ride but it turned out be fun. Singing along one direction songs along with brother.

"God, donkeys are much better than you. My ears are bleeding!" Alex said being dramatic.

"Donkey means beautiful, Alex" I said flipping my hair

"God! What happened to my comebacks!" Alex said being fake frustrated.

"Concentrate on the road" I said.

"Yes, Ms Danes!" Alex said rolling his eyes.

Drew💙: thinking about you. 💫

I almost dropped my phone.

Alex gave me weird look.

Before I could reply, my granny's home came into my view

"Ah! My beautiful babies!" Granny said and hugged us both.

"We missed you so much" I said hugging her back

"Your parents are not feeding you very well. I have prepared your favorite cookies" My Granny said

"Yay! Cookies!" We both ran inside the house.

"Kids!" My dad said Chuckling

Our family is a small one. Just few cousins.

After granny feed us till our stomach is full, I was sitting outside on the porch looking at the sky. Then my mind automatically wavered to Drew.

Why? Why? My mind automatically drifts to him.

iMessage:

Me: I am unforgettable like that.

Me: don't miss me too much , babe.

Drew💙: I am your babe? 🤗

Me: you got only that?

Drew💙: yes, honey.

Me: hahaha. I know I am sweet.

Drew💙: yes, you are. Your sweetness have swept me off of my feet.

Me: tsk tsk not getting anywhere.

Drew💙: anyways I will talk to you later.

Me: yeah bye babe 😉

Drew💙: ahem! Ahem.

I am so screwed cause I like him a lot and need to confess this to him.

"Riley Elizabeth!" I heard My Mom's voice from the living room.

"Coming, Mom!" I said and sprinted to the living room.

Mom was doing dishes and I was just annoying her as usual.

"What's in your mind?" Mom asked me.

"Am I that obvious" I asked her.

"I am your mother. I just know it" My mom said

"Mom. Uh. I am developing feelings for Drew" I said looking at my shoes.

"Who's Drew?" My Mom asked me.

"Mom!" I said.

"Just kidding!" My Mom said laughing

"I already called it. Cause I have seen the way you face lit up whenever you talk about it" My Mom said smiling

"I am scared, Mom. These feelings are very new to me." I told her.

"It is natural, honey. Of course,you should be scared. But all you need to know is if it is worth falling for" Mom advised me.

"Easier said than done, Mom. I thought it was a crush which will eventually fade away but it grows more and more within me" I confessed to Mom.

"Riley! That means he is already in your heart!" Mom said sounding happy.

"Mom, you haven't even meet him" I said laughing

"I needn't meet him to know about him. Cause I know about him the way you speak about him" Mom said knowing it all.

"You are a genius, you know that, Mom?" I said hugging her.

"I married your father" My mom sad laughing.

"You didn't do any wrong there" I said laughing with her

"What my girls are laughing about?" My dad asked us

"Oh, it's nothing. We were just talking about how I accepted to marry you" My mom said teasing my dad.

"Oh, I know that is the decision of yor life" My dad said proudly

"Yeah, not so much." My mom said rolling her eyes.

"What, Madison?. I am the love of your life" My dad replied.

"And I am out!" I said leaving them.

My parents are goals. I wish in future Andrew and I are like them.

Umm. Wait what? Whoa. Hold that thought right there,Riley.
