Mayan opens the terrace door only to see Aanya standing near the railing, her back to him. He takes his moment before walking towards her, slowly, as if trying not to bother her peace anymore. He quietly stands beside her, not too close yet not too far to see her cheeks glistening with tears and that hits him like a slap in the face. He doesn't know what to do or say so he stands still holding the railing, looking at the moon just like her.

'' Aanya bursts out sobbing in anger and frustration.

Maya turns his head to look at her. The girl who was so brave just hours ago was crumbling now and guilt took over him because he knew he had a part to play in breaking her.

"" Mayan whispered ashamed.

' She turns to face him and holds his arm to make him face her as well.

'' Aanya sobs uncontrollably clutching his collars with her head lowering to rest on his chest.

Mayan controls his urge to put his arms around her, he has no right to do so and probably never will.

' Mayan feels desperate, so desperate to repent his mistakes in any way possible.

Anya mumbles raising her head from his chest, exhausted of crying.

Mayan whispers with a strange determination in his voice.

They stare into each other's eyes before Aanya leaves his collar.

Anya states sarcastically before she turns around and walks away

Mayan lets out a breath that he didn't know he had been holding for so long, before he smiles a bit in realization.

She might not trust him but she's giving him a chance to repent.
