Jared took a deep breath as he called Lizzie's Skype, fiddling with his fingers a bit as he waited for her face to come up on his screen. His face lit up with a bright smile when he finally saw her face flash across his screen, his heart fluttering slightly when she smiled at him.

"Hey, you!" Lizzie said, laying down stomach first on her bed, smiling into the camera.

"Hey yourself." Jared grinned, placing his chin in his hand. "How are you?"

"Exhausted." Lizzie chuckled sleepily, raking a hand through her light brown locks. "What about you? How's the ankle?"

"Good! Getting the boot off in a week. Do you have any idea how excited I am?" Jared said.

"I do actually. Knee caps, remember?" Lizzie smiled.

"Oh, right." Jared chuckled. "So, what's new?"

"Well, I got all my travel info for London today." Lizzie grinned. "I'm so excited, I'm already all packed! I have a map, I have Andrew's birthday present, I have my polaroid camera-"

"You have a polaroid camera?" Jared asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Yeah, I'm a sucker for aesthetics." Lizzie grinned, leaning her cheek on her arm.

Jared threw his head back and laughed. "You're too adorable for your own good."

"I know, right?" Lizzie chuckled, propping her chin in her hand. "I'm so excited. I haven't seen Andrew in forever. We went to Stanford together."

"Wow, really? That's pretty cool." Jared smiled, though he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy zip through him. He knew Lizzie wasn't his, but the thought of her being someone else's made him ballistic. He still hadn't even apologized to Jensen and Misha for snapping at them. The truth is, they were right. He was so jealous.

But like hell he was going to ruin this for Lizzie. Seeing how excited she was made him smile, even if it was about some other guy.

"Jared?"

The male looked up when Lizzie's voice snapped through his thoughts, his eyes meeting her concerned ones through the screen. "Hey, you okay?"

"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, I guess I'm a little I tired myself." Jared chuckled. "But anyway, I'm really happy for you."

Lizzie grinned brightly. "Thanks, Jared." She smiled, leaning her head on her arm. "I guess I should probably let you get some sleep."

"No, don't leave, I like talking to you." Jared whined playfully, making Lizzie chuckle.

"You're like a giant five year old. I could write a book about you."

"Please do. Just try not to make me sound too terrible."

Lizzie snorted. "Right, because I was totally planning on making you the bad guy of your own story."

"Well, you never know." Jared shrugged with a grin. "So, when do you leave?"

"This Friday. To be honest I'm a little nervous. I haven't been on an airplane since I was like 19."

"Really? But you do all those book tours, you've traveled across the country-"

"-by train." Lizzie said pointedly, raising her eyebrows. "I'm not exactly a flyer. And season 1 episode 4 of Supernatural didn't exactly help my fear."

"Oh my God," Jared laughed. "I remember that. That one was a lot of fun to film." He smiled fondly at the memory.

"It was a good one. I think I like season 1 the best to be completely honest with you. No apocalypse, no Lucifer, just Sam, Dean, and hunting."

"Don't forget about Baby."

"Well, I could never forget about Baby." Lizzie grinned.

Jared smiled. "Don't worry. I'm sure the flight is going to be fine."

"Yeah, I know. I also know that if I die a terrible fiery death in a plane crash, you will be the one to write my eulogy and casually mention the fact that you were the one who said it was going to be okay-"

"Alright, alright, I get it." Jared rolled his eyes, making Lizzie laugh.

"Alright, Moose, I should try and get some sleep, and you should too." She said.

"You're no fun." Jared pouted. "But I guess you're right."

"I'll text you bright and early, Dear." Lizzie smiled.

Jared grinned. "I look forward to it, Darling. Sleep well."

"You too. Goodnight, Jared."

"Night, Lizzie."

Jared sighed softly as his screen faded to black, falling onto his back on the bed. He smiled, letting out a small laugh.

"Wow."
