Okay so:

The sides all have their own ways of making their significant other give them cuddles without the other knowing that that's what their doing, and no one ever notices (Except Logan, who knows everyone's own trick and has confronted everyone about it seperately other than Patton [in fear the other stops], but we don't talk about that-)

Patton would be sitting on the sofa watching cartoons (most likely Steven Universe). Logan would be sat in a chair near the sofa as he "read" a book.

After a little while he'd glance up at Patton and then back down at his book.

"Patton were you aware that without affection a human being could eventually die?" he would casually say.

Patton would freeze in shock before looking over at him and stammering out, "Wh- What..?"

Logan would respond by looking up and adjusting his glasses, going to explain.

"Well, you see, a human-"

Patton would interrupt him immediately, "Just come gimme cuddles please Logie?"

Logan would quietly agree.

"..... Okay."

Prinxiety - Virgil -

Virgil would casually slide into the room Roman is in, trying to be all quiet and such. Roman being the good boyfriend he is pretends not to notice.

Virgil would immediately get frustrated and just fake cough.

"Ah, Virgil! When did you get here? Wanna watch a movie with me?" Roman would say, trying to spend some time with the emo.

"Well- I don't wanna be a bother-" Virgil would say, looking off to the side, already knowing the prince would protest that.

Roman would, in fact, protest that.

"Nonsense! You're not being a bother, now come on!"

Virgil, would already be laying on Roman's lap as he responded with, "Well if I h a v e to-"

Patton pretends he's gotten hurt somehow (Logan never points out that the only ways to feel pain in the mindscape is to inflict hurt upon yourself).

Prinxiety - Roman -

Roman pretends that he's noticed that Virgil's anxiety has spiked through the roof recently and feigns just wanting to comfort the other (regardless or not to the fact of if Virgil's anxiety has in fact spiked recently or not). Virgil is constantly so anxious that he never once questions it.

Demus - Janus -

Janus whines about needing constant warmth because of the being half snake thing, so Remus just offers the cuddles without thinking about it whenever Janus complains. His snake is cold? Not anymore.

Demus - Remus -

The only person who doesn't do this is Remus, who needs so much constant attention after years of neglect and people avoiding even grazing him to the point he's had no actual physical contact for years, that he's not afraid to randomly hug or jump on or whatever Janus whenever, still silently afraid he'll be left and have no more of it again soon.

Remember the Logan confronts everyone other than Patton thing? Yeah Logan confronts e v e r y o n e .

"Why don't you?"

"Why don't I what?" Remus is so taken aback by the sterness in the teacher's voice that he doesn't bother with a name that him and his brother normally tease the others with.

"The cuddle thing!" Logan would groan, almost theatrically for once. "Everyone else has a little trick for getting cuddles from their significant other, even me and De- Ahem, Janus. Why don't you?"

Remus would just smile sadly and look down, before quietly explaining.

After this Janus is told by an "anonymous" note (he knows out of the lights his boyfriend only really trusts the nerd) about this.

So Janus initiates cuddle sessions more often.

Hugs Remus randomly.

Kisses him more.

Touches him as often and in every way possible in every shape and form of the word.

And soon it becomes too much.

Remus is so emotional about the fact, 'Janus wants to touch me.'

And the next time Janus hugs him he bursts out in tears for the first time in a long while.

And Janus, oh, Janus is so scared, because, 'Remus doesn't cry.'

"Remus? Baby? Sweetheart? What did I do? I'm sorry! How'd I mess up? I'm so sorry what's wrong? Are you okay?"

And when he tries to pull away Remus chokes out, "Please don't," and Janus freezes for a second before hugging him tighter and whispering, "Never baby.." and Remus is crying harder.

And then Remus is mumbling, rambling nonsense (but it's not really nonsense for once, it just sounds like it because it's broken up, and stuttered, and he's crying, and choking back sobs), about things like, "You haven't left me, you actually want to touch me, you- you actually care about me-"

So Janus picks Remus up in his arms and moves them to his room, to his bed (this was happening in the kitchen while everyone was eating, everyone was concerned enough as it was).

They lay down still wrapped up and curled together, Janus making sure they're completely touching everywhere.

Janus just whispers, "Talk to me sweets.." and Remus breaks.

He tells Janus everything about the touch things (though he technically already knew people avoided Remus like the plague) until he gets to the part about how he's still scared of Janus leaving him and he hesitates momentarily.

And then Janus runs a scaled hand over his arm and it comes pouring out, Remus stumbling over the words.

And Janus freezes because, 'Logan didn't tell me t h i s'

Janus would try to lighten the mood with a joke. "I can't leave, we live together, Remus-"

Remus would choke out a sad laugh if Janus said that-

"Don't try to joke like that. You could still leave me the same way Roman and Virgil did- You could just randomly tell me you hate me- You- You could just fucking ditch me Janus!"

And when Remus tries to sit up, to bottle it all back down again and pretend this never happened (Patton and Remus have a bad habit of doing this. Logan and Janus decided together a while ago during a conversation they had that they needed to talk to their boyfriends about this issue) Janus pulls him even closer.

"Remus. I would never. Never baby. I love you. So much, okay?"

Remus starts sobbing again and holds Janus as tight as possible. "Please- Please don't- Janus- Please- Dee- Jan- Please- Don't leave-"

"Never my little octo.."

And Janus kissed him, and held him, and stayed there, until he was done crying, and for once dead asleep at a normal time (Remus hadn't actually slept in a few months- It seemed only Patton and Janus noticed, though Patton couldn't be a hypocrite to Remus like that and call him out on it considering they hung out in the middle of the night almost every night).

And then Janus would stand up carefully as to not wake up the other in the process.

He was going to go have a discussion with Roman and Virgil each before he went to have his conversation with Logan.

They really did need to confront their boyfriends about the bottling up emotions thing soon.
