《Her Wolf Heart》Q & A

Answer || Yes, as mentioned, she had a sister. Both Mother and sister were murdered.
Answer || Mikica Lynn Wright.
Answer || I actually did a lot of research and talked with my parents on this subject, and Mikica's father's job is indeed legitimate. My one uncle used to work an office job in the same fashion, three or four day a week, and then he was home. Regardless, I assume if employers really needed people to work but they lived too far away, there should be a compromise. I did not make up Mikica's father's job, trust me, I'm not that clever.
Answer || Richard. Not sure if I ever mentioned that in the book.
Answer || Honestly, they just came to me when I started working on developing their personalities. Although, I admit Thane came from the almighty power of Thor (nothing to do with Thanos, believe me), although I did consider calling him Thorn at one point; but then he just turned into a big lovable brute. And interesting fact, the pups name actually form the word CASTLE, and follow in the order of oldest (Cross) to youngest (Ever).
Answer || I personally love reading stories that involve special relationships with animals. One day, I was driving to work and saw a girl playing with three pups, and it naturally came to me. Let alone, Mikica needed something to ground her to reality, and its said/proven that animals are the best therapy. Plus, how can you resist six cute wolf pups? They add character to the story and frankly, a stark contrast and irony to Mikicia's fear.
Answer || As stated within the book, the nightmare is a direct replay of a real life event that took place in Mikica's childhood. Or rather, accident. And like any traumatic event, the post traumatic stress can produce anxiety and flashbacks, and in Mikica's case, its her nightmare that keeps reoccurring. Although, we can't forget that Mikica tried to commit suicide just months after the incident, which I briefly mentioned.
Answer || You will definitely know in the beginning of Book Four, Her Wolf Family. Remember what happened between Reeve and Cassius in the early stages of their relationship? (yes, that's a hint).
Answer || Reeve was looking for something. She had an instinct that something was there, and essentially, it was. Though, I will outrightedly say this because it isn't really a spoiler, the woods that Mikica lives in used to be Blackwood Territory. Remember them? That's the old dilapidated building I explain as soon as book four starts. When Leon and his men slaughtered the Blackwood pack, no other pack claimed their territory so it became no man's land, but Reeve returned to the land because she was searching for something. This will be mentioned later in book four.

Answer || You'll just have to read on to find out, won't you?
Answer || That was Leon and his men, right after they rescued Reeve. Like I said, Mikica lives within the Blackwood Territory. This entire series is tied together, there are literally strings attached everywhere.
Answer || Leon and his men, on their way to the Blackwood pack house.
Answer || He was going to shoot Mikica's wolves, and they sensed the threat, so Cross and Thane worked together to protect Mikica. As brutal as it is, the wolves acted on their instinct, and it was simply the fate of her father.
Answer || Not entirely. I had only started the first two chapters, but when I reached the fourth chapter, I had prewritten the rest of the book. I published one chapter a week and then on New Years Eve I published the remaining chapters as a count down to midnight. Surprisingly, I finished this entire book in three months, and that's record time for me.
Answer || Well, of course you want to know the all the connections, don't ya? But, aside from that, we'll revisit the Aloysius Pack and it will be easy going from there. No war, no deaths, no threats, just a simple book within the lives of our beloved characters; though, it won't be boring, I assure you. BUT, we'll also get an insight to Reeve's past. You'll discover what happened when she was born, who her parents were and what happened to them, why Reeve ended up at Crystal Peak Pack, and so on. Get ready for it, cause I got something I know you all don't see coming.
Answer || Absolutely. I like to play games in the words. Although this book and the next won't be as emotional as the first, there are tons of secrets. And better yet, while I having you focusing and pondering over one secret, I'll be conspiring another right under your nose. There is stuff I mentioned in Book One that I'm branching off into with this book and the next. It can be a simple word, phrase, or description. You'll never know until I reveal it (although I admit, some of you have gotten spoilers from me, and a few of you are just uncannily smart).

Answer || I'm flattered that you say that because when I read my writing, I only see chicken scratch and horribly conjured sentences. Though, they do say you always hate your own work. *shrug*
Answer || *sigh* Okay. This has been bothering me, too. I never planned on writing an entire book. I started on book one believing I'd never finish it, as it usually is when I start books. When I finished book one and had to write book two, I couldn't believe it. Me, writing two books?! What kind of sorcery?! So, I wrote book two intending to finish the little series, and that's what I did. I took a break for a month, came back and reread my books, and was bothered because it just didn't feel right to end it. There was so much more to Reeve's story. I had initially intended to leave Reeve's past out of the books, a few insights and mentions but not write about it - despite how you guys wanted a prequel. Finally, I got the idea for this book and started evolving it to expand on Reeve's story and answer the questions you've all been asking. All in all, we needed a little more closure on Reeve, just a few more questions answered. Yes, I introduced a new character, but Mikica is important, and it is as much her story as it is Reeve's. Though I will not go into detail of Reeve's past in book four, I will skim the essentials. Hopefully, by the end of book four, all the bases will be covered, I'll be content, and I can end the series on four books.
Answer || How can he not? He'll be appearing after chapter five in book four.
Answer || When I finish the series.
Answer || Yes, inevitably. I want to add more feeling, scenes, and impacting moments. I want to expand the chapters, include a few more character developments, and hopefully reach each book to about thirty chapters. When I'm finished editing, my books won't be novellas anymore and the series will be legitimate.
Answer || I use Canva.com. All I can say is that I'm extremely picky and have about five million different versions of each cover in my compute files. Though, I really love the black/white/grey contrast and will most likely not change them even in the edited versions.
Answer || Yes, hopefully. I had a wildly vivid dream a few weeks ago and once I poking around and attempting to develop the plot, its just been bugging me to write it. I want to expand it into a series, but it might just be one big fantasy book. It will revolve around an alternate universe/reality, but with a modern twist. If you were asking about another werewolf series, unfortunately the answer is probably a no. I'll probably being taking a break and venturing off into another genre.
Answer || If I could rate this as the number one question, I would - no, you know what. This is the number one question, ever since book one. Almost every single one of you ask this, and the answer is not going to change; I suck at writing romance and don't really like it. Though, I won't lie that some of the pointers you guys give kinda inspire me.
Answer || Back to the romance thing... but you know what, who knows? She might. She's only sixteen, though, so don't push her. She's my little baby.
Answer || I'll leave Book Four to answer.
Answer || They are almost a year old.
Answer || Absolutely. What makes you think otherwise?
Answer || Wow. I haven't even introduced them and this is your question? The answer is no. Mikica is sixteen, okay? And Cassius is almost twenty four! An eight year age gap won't work for me, I won't do anything over four. Sorry.
Answer || I'll touch more on this in Book Four. But, their names are General and Amigo (I'll distinguish which is which in book four).
Answer || We'll see.
