《The Unexpected Meeting (Jared Padalecki)》Epilogue

I decided you guys deserve a little more to the story. Hope you enjoy this extra part. The picture above is Charlotte now.
Sara's POV
"Lottie come on we have to get you ready for school." I called.
"But mommy I don't want to." She pouted.
"All five year olds go to school sweetie."
"Will Thomas have to go too?." She asked while pointing at my stomach.
"Yes when he is old enough."
"Is my little girl ready for her first day?" Jared asked while coming into the room.
"Daddy." She screamed while running towards him.
He picked her up and spun her around. "You excited for school?"
"Mommy says I got to go."
"Well mommy is right, you have to go."
"I want to stay here and play." She complained.
"Aww baby we all want to but today's your first day. You wouldn't want to miss it." I replied.
"We will all be there to say goodbye. Mommy, Thomas, and I." Jared added.
"Okay I'll go." She sighed.
"Listen baby girl you'll have a fun time playing with your new friends. I bet you'll be so excited to go back tomorrow."
"Okay mommy." She smiled.
"I'll do your hair really quick and then we'll be off."
Charlotte sat down on the couch while I grabbed the hair brush. I quickly made her hair look cute because I didn't want her to be late for the first day. I swear I heard Jared take a few pictures because, as he put it, we looked so cute.
Jared drove us to her new school. I sat in the back with Charlotte because she was a little nervous. We walked her to her class and as soon as she saw the room her eyes lit up. She ran right in and started to play with some of the toys.
"Hello I'm Mrs.Jones, you're the Padaleckis right?" The teacher questioned.
"Yes we are. Charlotte seems really excited to start school." Jared answered.
"Well we will take good care of her here. I bet she'll have a great day. Would you like to say goodbye to her?"
"Yes. Lottie you forgot your hugs." I said.
She ran as fast as her little legs could go and jumped right on Jared. It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

"Bye mommy. Bye daddy. Bye Thomas." She said while hugging all of us.
"Bye Lottie, we love you." Jared and I told her.
"Well Charlotte are you ready to start the day?" Mrs.Jones asked.
"Yeah." She looked at her teacher and smiled.
Jared and I walked back to our car hand in hand. He decided to be the gentleman he is and opened my door for me. I am so lucky to have him. I closed my door as he hopped in the drivers seat.
"I can't believe our little girl is in kindergarten." Jared said as he looked at me.
"Just think in a few years Thomas will be starting kindergarten."
"I don't want to think that far ahead." He chuckled.
"Let's just enjoy this moment. You and me and little Thomas." I said while pointing at my stomach.
Jared put his head on my stomach, "Hello little guy, I'm your dad. I can't wait to meet you in a few short months."
"Did you feel that?"
"Was that him kicking?" He asked excitedly.
I smiled, "Yeah. He was saying can't wait to meet you dad."
"I still can't believe this is my life."
"Me either babe. I love you and our adorable children."
~After School~
"Mommy. Daddy." Charlotte yelled while running to us.
"Charlotte." Jared yelled and ran towards her.
She giggled as Jared picked her up and gave her a big hug. I walked over to them because there is no way I'm running with this big belly.
"Did you have a fun day at school Lottie?" I gave her a kiss of the cheek.
"Yeah. Look what I made." She held up a painting of us. "See its you and me and daddy and Thomas."
I looked at her little picture and saw she painted a little boy next to her. It looked liked they were playing a game. I think she's excited to be a big sister.
"I love it baby."
"Me too. It's a very pretty picture. Do you know what we do with pretty pictures?" Jared asked her.
"Put it on fridgey." She responded.
For some reason she didn't want to call the fridge just fridge. She decided one day to name it fridgey. At first Jared and I were confused but now we find it adorable.

"That's exactly what we do with it. I think fridgey will love it."
That caused Charlotte to smile wide. It warmed me heart so much. The way she looks at Jared is so sweet. The father daughter bond they have is amazing.
"Come on guys. Let's get home so we can put it on fridgey." I intertwined my fingers with Jared's.
When we got home Charlotte ran to the front door and tried her hardest to open it. She was really excited to put her painting on the fridge. As soon as Jared opened the door she was in the kitchen sticking her paper on the fridge.
"See painting looks good on fridgey." She pointed.
"It does baby."
"Do you think Thomas likes it?" She pointed at my belly.
"I bet he's loves it." I smiled and gave her a hug.
"Daddy daddy look. Fridgey likes it."
"I see that baby girl. Fridgey looks nice with it on."
"Baby Thomas likes it too. Mommy said."
"That's good. I bet he'll love it even more when he gets her in a few months."
"I want to see Thomas now." She stomped her feet.
"Not right now baby. He's not ready to join our family yet." Jared picked her up.
"But he wants to play with me, see." She pointed at her picture.
Jared chuckled, "I see that but he still in mommy's tummy."
"Did mommy eat him?" She gave Jared a worried look.
"Oh no no no Lottie. He just wants to spend some time in my belly sweetie. Just like you did when you were a baby." I reassured her.
"I remember I just want to come play with you." She giggled.
Jared and I exchanged an amused look. Sometimes I question the things that come out of her mouth. She can be so cute sometimes and other times she says the strangest things.
"Of course you did Lottie but Thomas wants to spend a little more time then he'll come play with you." Jared answered for me.
I was still a little confused by what she said. Sure it was cute but also odd. She probably gets her weirdness from Jared.
"Babe?"
"Huh?"
"She gets her weirdness from you, not me."
"I need to work on not saying my thoughts out loud."
"Maybe a little."
"Shut up." I playfully punched him.
"Mommy that's mean." Charlotte spoke up.
"Yeah Sara that's mean." Jared gave me a look.
"You got to say sorry to daddy."
"Lottie I was jus-."
Jared cut me off, "She's right Sara. You have to say sorry. We need to teach our daughter the right thing."
"I'm sorry for hitting you Jared."
"Good job mommy." Charlotte hugged me.
"Thank you baby."
"Who wants some dinner?" Jared asked.
"Meeeeee!!!." Charlotte and I both replied.
"I'll go get that started. Burgers and fries sound good?"
"With cheese?"
"Yes baby with cheese." Jared looked down and smiled at Charlotte.
"Come on Lottie, let's set the table."
"Okay mommy." She grabbed my hand as we went to find plates.
This isn't the end our of story for sure. This is just a part of it. Soon Thomas will be born and our lives will be filled with chaos. But not a bad kind of chaos a good kind. Right now we're trying to live the most normal lives we can. Jared is filming season 12 of Supernatural which I'm excited about. Cas, Autumn, Alice, and I still watch the show religiously. We are super excited to see what's in store this season. Jared and Jensen won't tell us anything. They said we have to wait just like the rest of the world. It's okay though it's only three weeks away. I guess this is goodbye for now. Until I see you again.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
