Because of last night's journey, I was very much exhausted. But somehow I managed to wake up and got ready for office. I didn't want to wake Hyun. He cried a lot. So, I picked him up in my arms and exited my apartment for office.

"Hey YN, guess what! One of our seniors is throwing a party tonight. It's gonna be so much fun! You can keep Hyun at my aunt's place. What do you say?" Aera asked looking at my direction.

"I'm not feeling very good today. I've to pass. You go," I replied with a slight smile. She was beaming with joy just now but my refusal made her sulk.

"Are you sure you're okay? You look a little bit sick. I'm noticing for a few days that, you even have morning sickness. I think you should consult a doctor," she suggested and then focused on her work.

Now that she mentioned, I realized she was right. These days I was feeling nauseous most of the times. I even developed weird eating habits. I didn't pay much attention to it, but now I'm scared. What if I'm....!! No it can't happen! I tried to shake off my worries and focused on the work.

There was a scheduled meeting today. We all took our seats in the meeting room and the CEO came in a few minutes later. He took a glance at me and then started the meeting.

Seeing him in front of me, made me remember his confession in the woods. Sooner or later, he would ask for an answer. What would I say! It was for sure that I was attracted to him, so was every other young women. But did I love him!

I was lost in my thoughts instead of focusing on the meeting. Then suddenly I felt very sick. I couldn't stay put. I just covered my mouth with my hand and ran out of the room. Everyone was quite startled.

Now it was lunch break and I went to the cafeteria alone. Aera and others came a few minutes later. They were attending the meeting. I was too much embarrassed to join the meeting again.

"What happened in there! Are you okay YN! Why didn't you come back! Boss was looking for you!" Aera said while taking her seat in front of me. Jangmi and Minho also looked a bit worried about my health.

After I assured them that I was okay, they began their daily conversation. Aera was as usual scrolling through her phone and talking gibberish. But she stopped all of a sudden. We looked at her direction, only to find her frozen still as a statue.

"Why did you stop? Aren't you gonna tell us what happened next!" Jangmi asked giving her a nudge. But Aera lifted up her head to look at me.

"YN, there's an article and some photos of you and the CEO. It's all over the internet," she said with shocked expression. I forgot to react. My mind couldn't process the information. The thing I feared the most, had finally happened.

I snatched the phone from her hand and looked at the screen. "The young CEO of Jeon Corp is in an affair with one of his employees, Lee YN.....!" I scrolled further and found some photos of us, kissing. Someone else was there in the woods, who took these photos. There were even photos from when he pulled me out of the water.

Now people started whispering in the cafeteria. Most of them were looking at me. I dropped the phone from my hand and ran out of the cafe. I decided to take Hyun from the kids center and go back home. But fate decided something else for me.

I was walking in a hurry when someone stopped me in the middle of the lobby, grabbing my arm. "You're YN right! Wow, how did you manage to seduce our CEO! You're something else I must say!" The girl said who was now grabbing my arm.

I tried to free my arm from her grasp but she didn't let me. Now this incident attracted people's attention and they started gather around. I was feeling helpless and tears threatened to come out of my eyes.

As the situation wasn't already embarrassing enough, Yiren chimed in. "Seducing the rich CEO! Is that how you managed to get the new project!! So cheap, YN!! Didn't you even think about your illegitimate son! What's he gonna think now! My mommy is a slut!" Yiren said mocking me in front of everyone with a huge smirk.

Now, the whispers got louder and I could hear them clearly.

'How did she manage to seduce the cold CEO! She sure knows how to trick people.'

'She even has a child! Whoa, what a slut!'

'Do you think she did this for money!'

'I don't blame her. Mr Jeon is hot. I wonder how's he in bed!'

'The other day I saw hickeys on her. God knows how many men she's sleeping with!'

'The poor child! Who would want a mother like her!'

'Ah, my innocent Kookie! I want to slap that bitch really hard!'

Hearing these whispers made my knees weak. The girl released me from her grip but I couldn't run away. I was surrounded by curious people. Some just stood there to watch the show and some made disgusting comments. I was now a crying mess. I could see Aera and Jangmi in the distance. They were about to come to get me when a loud voice made everyone quiet.

"What the hell do you think you're saying!!" Jungkook yelled looking at everyone. His presence made everyone scared and they tried to walk away but Jungkook shouted again. "No one moves a muscle! Stand right there wherever you are." Now everyone stopped on their spot.

He walked close to me and glanced at my face. I couldn't raise my head and kept crying looking at the floor. Then he shouted again.

"How many of you actually know her to say such nasty things! Do you even think twice, before judging someone!! Yeah, what you saw in those pictures, were true! But she's not the one trying to seduce me! It was me who approached her first. Because I'm in love with her! I didn't know loving someone is a crime." Now, loud gasps could be heard coming out from people's mouth.

"Those of you, who are calling her a slut because she's a single mother, for your kind information, that child is mine! I'm his biological father. And he won't be illegitimate for long," He added. His confession made everyone gasp louder and Yiren widened her eyes. She thought messing up the sample would work. But he never told her the fact that he found out about the truth.

"And those of you who take photos of me secretly, without my permission and post them on the silly group, get ready to be fired. I already have the list." With that said, he grabbed my hand and dragged me into the elevator.

He took me in his embrace and put a hand on the back of my head. "Don't cry! I'll make everything normal again, okay!" He tried to calm me down. But suddenly I felt numb and my vision went black.
