that was the first thing that louis' brain thought when hershel kissed his cheek. after that, tons of other things started floating around in his mind.

louis had been thinking, for quite a while now. he's planning on asking little hershel on a date, louis has been dying to get to know the young, pretty boy more since he first spoke to him in the library. he thinks he'll take hershel to the park, that same park where they'd played footie together and really got on with each other.

it's settled, and louis hopes this works out.

meanwhile, hershel is at home, relaxing and sketching in his book. he's sat cross-legged, clad in nothing but a long grey shirt and black cotton panties. he sighed softly in frustration, hershel can't seem to get this one sketch right.

of course, he's drawing louis. not in his fairytale prince form that hershel normally draws him in, but like an actual portrait of the beautiful, older boy. he's almost done, but he can't get louis' godly cheekbones correct.

after a measly twenty minutes, little hershel just about gives up, prompting to finish it another time. he sets it off to the side, making sure to close the book so his mother doesn't question him about it.

hershel looks over at the digital clock on his bedside table, it reading . he gasps quietly, muttering "bloody hell, i've been up for far too long." then proceeds to get ready for bed.

louis can do this.

he can totally, definitely do it.

today's the big day. louis tried to dress a bit better today, he's got a rose in his hand and a smile on his face. today is the day he's asking hershel out.

if you asked him, he wouldn't say he was nervous. but on the inside, he'd be screaming,

but nonetheless, he's going to do it. louis saw hershel standing in front of his locker, he looks absolutely gorgeous. he wore tights today and his bum looks amazing.

louis takes a deep breath and continues forward until he's behind hershel's tiny frame. he cleared his throat.

"hey, hersh."

hershel whipped around at the sound of louis' husky voice. he immediately blushed, silently cursing himself for being so weak under louis' gaze.

"u-um. hi, louis."

louis almost melts because of how cute and soft hershel is, he seems so fragile and becomes even more pliant whenever louis looks at him. right, here goes nothing.

"i was just - i don't know, wondering.. maybe -" louis stammers. he hears a quiet noise, hershel giggling.

"get on with it, lou." louis chuckles nervously.

"maybe if you'd go on a date with me..?" the question comes out high pitched and hesitant. louis then hands hershel the rose, trying and somewhat failing, to be smooth.

hershel squeaks, surprised. he'd never in a billion years thought louis tomlinson would ask him out on a date. hershel has always been an outcast, a nobody, a freak, a lame little twinky boy with no friends. but, here he is, going on a date with louis tomlinson. tiny hershel is on cloud nine - more like cloud one thousand. he realized he didn't answer louis yet and snaps back to reality and nods vigorously.

"yes - yeah. of course.."

louis then grins, and takes a risk. he leans forward and plants a kiss on hershel's forehead. he hears hershel sigh contently.

they're both head over heels.
