sweet little hershel sat in the library, all alone. he had to find a better place than the corners of the hallways, so he thought the library would be a good choice. none of the mean bullies ever read, so they won't be going in there any time soon.

hershel swung his feet back and forth under the table, thumb in his mouth as he giggled quietly to himself. he was reading a book about a small boy that gets into crazy adventures with his friends. it was quite entertaining.

hershel was just about to begin chapter six when he heard a cough in front of him. little hershel jumped a bit, before looking up and seeing louis tomlinson. louis has been the center of hershel's dreams since he's came to this school. his dreamy blue eyes, his like stance. hershel was obsessed, he couldn't get enough.

hershel heard a soft "ahem." and realized he was staring. baby hershel blushed and looked down at his lap, then blushed harder and took his thumb out of his mouth.

"eh, hershel? i found this in the hallway. you dropped it and i decided to stop by and give it back. it's lovely, by the way."

hershel looked to the boy's dainty hands, seeing it was one of his drawings. he gasped in surprise, because has seen his drawings..and a particular one. a drawing of louis himself. but of course, louis did not realize that the drawing was him, he thought it was a simple yet intricate drawing of a prince.

little hershel snatched his drawing quickly, blushing slightly. "t-thank you." he said, looking down at his lap.

louis nodded, a small smile on his face. "see you around, hershel.." and with that, louis was out of site. sweet hershel was longing for more. he replayed louis saying his name in his head.

hershel is sure he sat in the library for hours, when in reality, it was only thirty-five minutes.

that day when hershel was off and on his what home, he couldn't stop thinking of louis, and how he could get him to talk to him more often.

hershel was just a small love sick puppy. longing for attention, and happiness.
