I absolutely LOVED this series. Not my favorite, but it's a close second or third. I really recommend this book to readers who enjoy boyxboy stories that include smut every once in a while. SkeneKidz, the author, does an impeccable job of keeping your attention. I must say, most stories bore me; however, this one did not. There was great suspense and mystery about what was going to happen next. I usually do not wait for updates and only read completed books, but this one was definitely worth the wait.
But don't worry; this book isn't all dark and gloomy. There are a variety of moments where you will laugh so hard your socks will fall off. Jasper and Carol, Shane and Mitch's parents, are witty little bastards who show love through sarcasm. This being said, they are not cruel to their sons or anyone else for that matter. In fact, they may be my favorite characters in the whole book. There are scenes where their love for each other, and their sons, truly shines and it takes everything in me not to fangirl.
